wish me luck, isn't the russian translation of the name of this song, its blood type, originally sung by the band kino (kino is russian for movie or something like that.), there lead singer victor tsoi, the one who mainly wrote the song, died in a car crash witch is widely believed to be a KGB assassination, since the real translation of this song is about a terrified russian soldier in likely Afghanistan the 1970s. while the words "Wish me luck" are in the song, its not name victor intended. over his short rise to stardom, he wrote songs that where primarily agiest the soviet union, where he lived at the time. yet none of them could for a shadow of a doubt say it was about the soviet union, it clearly was. Victor TGsoi and the band kino are now widely considered to be one of the greatest and only soviet rock bands, ever.
