Beautiful recreation of the trailer for TBC Zul'aman. The sword Anastarian carries (Flamestrike) was later used by him in a duel against Arthas and Frostmourne. It shattered, but was then reforged by Kael'thas for his use as a blood elf. It's cool to see them bring in so many of the World of Warcraft characters. I didn't get a good look at the model, so I'm not sure if they bumped her to a paladin early or not, but Liadrin was a humble priestess at the time. I think they did something similar with the avatars. I think TBC implies the avatars were a recent idea to give them incredible power. Did Zul'jin's voice actor change? He sounds so much worse. I think he's trying too hard with the yelling. Sylvanas was the Ranger General during the second war. Interesting color change to his WoW pruple.... This is a little thing, but I like how they used it with an explanation of it coming with lia blessings and last stand, almost like a death garb. The later capture of Zul'jin did break the trolls, it was a defeat felt by all troll tribes, not just the forest trolls. The Horde's battle at the capital of Lordaeron was legendary. But it was not the final battle of the war.
indeed the voice actor changed for worse. the burning crusade zul jin was perfect. but i dont find too bad the new one. all the richness of this remake the voice was a little detail imo
Seeing Zul'jin in action here, really makes me hope that we can get playable Forest Trolls in Midnight. While I would be happy if the Revantusk got upgraded to playable, I would be estactic if we got Forest Troll reunion storyline and at the very least got the Amani back on our side.
Epic battle🔥💥Beautiful made models and environment. The elf king may have done a grave mistake here not finishing the trolls, a shame. I wonder if this costly battle is the reason why the defense against the undead in the sequel was so weak?
The idea was that trolls aren't regressing savages, but still have trade networks throughout their capital cities. We showed that there is a river access to the temple city of Zul'Aman. Dark Trolls can still keep their secrets, but are able to participate in trade and such. It's definitely a theory that we decided to implement, but not a far fetched one, considering Zandalari had an even more intricate inter-tribe embassy and bazar system. - Barorque
@@lorecraftdesigns638 Theoretically possible Dark trolls felt too isolated to cross the whole great sea, but they did have a single rep in Zandalar if only to mock all the players who wanted to see them by confirming her entire race got Pootchied. (And they used a female so they didn't even have to reskin a Forest Troll model into dark blue/purple to get the build of the male.) I choose to believe she's lying/misinformed.
Listening to the Elves (and Alliance in general) colourful vocabulary describing any members of the Horde as nothing more then a rabid beast, as if they were some murlocs (poor sods to be honest) almost makes me glad for the doom Arthas brought them. Almost - that is only our side of the story so far
They have been in active production of WC1 for a time already. It is called Warcraft: Chains of Conquest. I’m sure they are currently more focused bug fixes for the Orc campaign and other improvements and finishing/polishing up the human campaign and Beyond the dark portal. However they deserve to take it easy for a bit. It’s not a large dev team and they put a lot of their personal time into it because they to are fans of WC. Warcraft 3 is already currently being Re-Reforged by InsaneMonster. The prologue and human campaign is available in custom-campaign format. The undead campaign is probably like halfway finished or something. Also there is a Lord of the Clans, Of Blood and Honor, and Day of the Dragon being worked on by OutsiderXE.
This looks so damn good that I might have to bite the bullet and actually buy reforged in order to play this mod ... after I originally refunded it ...
If you got regular WC3. It can freely be updated and become Reforged. Save your money if you got your old discs. Install and update and you will have the access
@@Zelinkokitsune as far as I understand you do need the reforged engine for this custom campaign and that only unlocks when you've paid for it. Happy to be proven wrong though.
Well you might be right. I honestly don't know what features are still paywalled at this point. I figured with all the custom Models they'd not need those features though. I'd have to do more research.
@@Zelinkokitsune Not possible unfortunately. The campaign needs Reforged and needs to run on Reforged versions. I'm pretty sure on non-Reforged clients (which is the regular WC3 you're talking about, it's not possible to update to Reforged for free) it'll just not appear.

I don't understand how this tram plans yo do the sequential campaign, even if they say Capitol City doesn't fall completely, the Alliance already lost two cities it didn't lose in regular canon
Could the Alliance campaign be the canon one while this one is an alternate universe campaign? I can see the Alliance campaign borrowing plot points from this campaign though.
