Ace Deus Medivh tried to warn King Terenas but no one listened to him or even recognize who he was.

Nah there was a cutscene where medivh told arthas to go to kalimdor

Even Jaina tried to convince this dude, it just wasn't going to happen. He could've been persuaded not to go Northrend or at least not take Frostmourne if Jaina and Uther didn't abandon him though.

I'm sure the lich king would have tried to find someone else to fill the role of summoning them. Or maybe kelthuzad would do it himself somehow.

@@macmac277 Can't be Kel, he's already dead by the time Arthas purges the city. Arthas had to bring him back, using the Sunwell.

yeah, Stratholme being purged was the only reasonable option. if anything, them abandoning him over it was the real turning point.

It was, he lost a part of him by killing his own people, a weigh that he promised no one should never carry after after he experienced how his horse, invincible, was put down by his own hand after a accident that left his companion gravely injured. He passing for that traumatic experience made him more vengeful than ever before. Even if it was the most reasonable option, this one was extremely hard for him to carry on, so much that it sealed his fate for good.

Eh, Arthas was put into a difficult place, and I don't think the purging of Strateholme was the wrong choice. I do think he shouldn't have gone to Northrend but so far it's somewhat understandable. Where he absolutely went wrong was when he burned the ships and blamed the mercenaries who fought for him. Noone forced or manipulated him into doing so, he came up with it all on his own.

Maybe this is an Infinite impersonating Alextraza or she learned it from the Bronze and was too soft hearted to not give the warning even though the Bronze warned her not to.

The story isn’t Over though. Maybe in the future we’ll find out why it was Alexstraza.

if Blizard continued making Warcraft games (not WoW) I'd be a lot happier, I don't mind WoW, but I like the idea that in WoW you played as nobodies while in the strategy game you played as the actual commanders.

They did say that if Arthas didn't tip off Illidan to the Skull of Gul'dan and just betray the Legion in general they'd have had Tichondrius plus far more demons and undead at Hyjal and probably won.

Ye makes sense that ultimately Arthas becoming pawn of Lich King/Ner'zhul and Ner'zhul then being able to make sure that Legion would fail were what ultimately saved Azeroth in the end, even if it doomed Arthas, Lordaeron and most of humans with it. Sometimes you just cant save them all, and I think that as guardians of Time, The Bronze Dragonflight and Nozdormu especially understands this. I mean why otherwise they would let history play its course and not intervene every time something would threaten Azeroth and make sure that the threats would be dealt with before they can even begin? As result of events of Warcraft III, Archimonde, Mannoroth and most of the most important Dreadlords were vanquished and the Legion severely weakened. So having Lordaeron and Quel'Thalas fall to Scourge was "small" price compared to that.

@@DIEGhostfish Except without Arthas fall, the Cult of the Damned wouldn't have had the resources to ressurrect Kel'Thuzad at the Sunwell, nor the book from Dalaran, and thus no summoning could occur and the burning legion could not invade.

Well except killing his own father and dooming Lordaeron for good....even still if he would not have followed the trap that Mal'ganis and Lich King had planned for him, I also agree that Arthas along with Uther and most of Lordaeron would have rather stayed and fought and died defending Lordaeron than escaped to Kalimdor.

But Arthas believed the dragon queen, which is a better option than what the blizzard came up with.

because no one know Medivh (after he open demon gate, i think everyone abandon everything about him) so who trust a mad old man block your way ? Alexstraza is difference, she is a one of little Lawful good in Azeroth, like Uther so she never lie.
