Warframe: Dagath Is Amazing & Hard To Kill - ABYSS OF DAGATH Update

I love her, she's honestly so much fun. I had a guy feeling that her 4th would be underwhelming but I was dead wrong

It's as I told my father: they're powercreeping the power creep.

I like her a lot. I see her as more of the glass cannon type caster that needs to be casting to stay alive BUT solving each of her "issues" has been a blast and I have her at a point right now where I havent put her down. She is probably the first caster frame since launch i've thoroughly enjoyed.

Between Dagath and Kullervo I'm liking the direction new warframes are going.

I haven't tried with Equilibrium yet, and instead used Hunter Adrenaline with Molt Reconstruct for infinite casting and healing loop. Works well for solo when aggro is all on you. I'll have to try out your build!

HOLY CRAP I missed that Equilibrium change in amongst everything else. That was the bane of my existence running Gloom on Voruna. Going to have to give that a go again 😃

Her lore is really cool, her design is on point for a frame who's a "mirror that shows others thier sins" and while she have a little of fanservice with her big ol' tonhongracougers. I can't be mad. She have her own "edge" and identity. Her abilities are on point and aren't useless fillers, but her 4 surely put everyone on the edge of changing it. But hey! With awesome update we got awesome warframe. Let's celebrate Halloween everyone and have a great time! 😁🎃 Also, will you do video about her lore like you did with Kullervo? I had a blast yesterday when I used her in steel path and wrecked everything. Her melee weapon also aids in you getting more health and can overcharge after 10 kills. I was just running around mot melee only slaughtering all in my way and only falling back for the 3rd to reset.

One thing to note, it's not the host that loses a beacon when the mission gets completed. It's whoever clicked the mission first. Not a huge thing, but worth mentioning

Dagath seems very similar to Sevagoth, but significantly more streamlined. I run the aura mod that takes 20 health to health 10 on allies on sevagoth, along with the arcane that increases max health on orb pickup. I'm thinking this setup would work well for Dagath. Though I'm not sure any of these abilities should be traded for Gloom.

Dagath is my new favorite toy, dante was kinda of fun, especially for me returning i got to play him first week of launch and he melted the screen, but i also got dagath and i have way more fun with her. Also her signature weapon is great with her 3rd ability.

Frankly, with shield-gating in game and the number of operator arcanes/abilities that can heal your frame + Void Mode....death is really only something that happens in warframe if you get carless or too excited. I'm glad that they're exploring all sorts of fun new defensive and invulnerability options because frankly, I don't find it to be power creep at all. You can already be invulnerable 100% of the time by combining frame and operator play by the time you get to the steel path, and short of that and endurance endless missions....nothing in the game comes that close to being threatening anyway. At the same time, that's not the point to begin with. All the endless missions have another thing you need to worry about, be it killing enemies quickly enough in survival to keep enough additional life support coming in, defense has the objective itself you have to protect, Disruption missions.... -_- .... etc. The fun in the game is in the zooming around and obliterating wave after wave of enemies, though some of the newer bosses have actually shaped up pretty entertainingly as well. Rant aside, more frames with newer-player friendly survivability options are great :)

She's great as long as there aren't any GD Nullifiers around. Or Ancient Disruptors for that matter. She's the most spammy Warframe I've played. I barely have time to even use my weapons because I'm constantly needing to spam abilities, to keep her shields up. If a Disruptor hit her, she drops like a rock. Not only that, if a Nully grazes her, it not only removes her 3 buff, but also triggers it's 25 second cooldown with is complete bullshit. At the very least they should change the ability so that the cooldown only procs if the buff drops off due to blocking lethal damage, not from having it stripped. Otherwise, her damage output is great. Ending numbers aren't as ludicrous a Kullervo, but that's fine. Her damage is spread out across large swaths, with enough damage to kill. Which I find more useful than just nuking one unfortunate dude for 90 million damage. I'd also like to point out that the idle for her noble animation has the most annoying idle sounds in the game. She's just constantly summoning and desummoning a screeching, snorting, farting ghost horse. It's bad enough when there is just one standing next to you in a hub. When there are 4-5 it's an unbearable torture. They need to mute it for other players.

Dagath is such a beast! I traded for plat so I could buy her while the dojo room is being built, and I am having a blast with her. On top of how Hydroid (my main before Vauban) plays now, I'd say this update is one of the best full packages DE has put out in a while.

Yeah, she's ridiculously spammy, and the 25s cooldown when her 3rd ability triggers is pretty annoying. Granted, so far I only put one Forma in her, and built her fairly traditionally, and she was pretty damn squishy in SP. I think I'll give this Equilibrium build a try next, and see how it fares. Edit: I tried it out. Holy crap, this build shreds. I had to finagle it a little, since I don't have a maxed out Arcane Blessing, so I had to wedge in an Umbral Vitality, but the results are pretty damn impressive.

Goth Horse Girl is... Good

Everytime I hear someone say her name I hear it as DGAF, which is very fitting for her!

In order to farm enough materials for her, her weapon, and helmenth food, you need 34×3×2(224)+80=304 of the resources.

I can confirm the number of vainthorns is a bit inconsistent because in steel path me and a friend got 11 of them and then 8 and then it gave us 12 of them for the rest of the time

I cannot wait until she finishes building I ran steel path to get her as soon as she came out and yes we got 8 to 12 mostly 12 a run with res booster and smeeta kavat not sure if Smeeta made a difference but I was not about to change anything I just wanted enough to get my frame and weapon

Can confirm the 12 drop on SP: 2 runs and I have 24 of the new resource (that I instantly forgot the name of).

I did cap level Disruption solo this morning (for me) 2 forma, Brief Respite, 278% duration, 139% pwr, arcane Strike/Fury, no helminth, no archon shard, no principal, Epitaph primer, Dorrclave 5 forma CC poison. It works very well and the build isn't op at all.

can confirm steel path 12 do drop as i mostly got 11 and 12's through the runs i did with a few 8's ... aslo after watching this video i went back to Dagath and now having a lot of fun with her

50% casting speed is where you want to be with dagath, i do all my testing in field in mission, true test of value. Anyway i threw natural talent on again and got her strength to 229 duration is somewhere around 80 to 90% thats okay cuz yer 2 main casts are cheap. Casting goes as follows 3, 1, 2 , 2, 1, 4. Also use death cube or deathcube prime. Going to test growing power but, ive been running corrosive projection, steel charge is okay, but with dagaths 3rd combined with her dorrclave and whike enemies are doomed corrosive projection is doing better. Ive bren melting the screen in the 60 to 90 level enemy range pretty damn good like this. Doom does not need to stay up for long so long as it spreads wide fast and for a hard dmg bonus. I had a riven for my pyrana had it at 12k dmg and i just sat there and doomed everything then shot the shot outta them. I got her to melt faster than saryn

So when she's using her abilities, she can't die. When she's dealing damage, she can't die. Even when she's killed, she can't die?

I guess my math was off when counting how many Vainthorns I'd need, because I got 112 for Dagath's components in my calculations.

I still put kullervo #1 frame de need to hotfix his 1st ability seem he get stuck in melee attack animation.

Just looking at the buffs on the top right corner let me know she's got a lot going on.

It has been a long time since I tried a new frame and immediately had it click and go oh yeah, that's going to be my "main" for awhile.

If they're doing warframes based on Irish mythology, hopefully they consider doing Cù Chulain at some point.

I love the whipping weapon she has. Since i started playing Warframe, plenty of weapons have existed but for some reason DE never thought of making a whip weapon. This is the first time i am seeing a whip weapon being used although it might be one of her abilities. I hope not. I hope it is a weapon

Can confirm that steel path can grant up to 12. I guess you were just unlucky with your runs. Did it in a squad and we averaged around 10 per run with some outliers

Guys i need help, since the update, i've been geting Host Migration when joining a group even before we start the mission, and when im the host, people keeps geting kicked from the group, how do i solve this? I already tried reinstall the game and change my Ping but not of this worked, im playing on PS5, please this is ruining my farms

From what I've seen you can only get more than 8 if you run SP version solo.

I went full strength to focus on 3 and then ditched 4 for eclipse just for meme numbers for damage. Easy to mistake the damage number for phone number at this point 😂

I find this frame to be very fun, very tanky, and well, feels good to play. Now that being said, I fear this will not last long, why, because it's fun and well, fun (aka powerful) isn't something DE likes too much of. So I wouldn't be shocked if she gets hit with a nerf bat. As for my rotation, three is a must, but instead of 2 and then 1, I go 1 and then 2. Maybe it's just me, but when I hit 2 after hitting one, it feels like I'm hitting them harder verse doing it the other way. Then again, I was only only getting 100k plus hits with my horses where I was seeing in your video at least 300k hits so I'd guess you are doing it better than me.

I noticed on my solo run on steel path, klling enemies to fulfill the objective also kinda give you more. I got 20 just run. No booster

Unless I really overlooked something,but I really hate how they want us to get her. Doing the same mission on the same tileset 15 plus times? Then waiting for the dojo room to craft? Just a mix of 2 awful things. At the very least wish there was some actual variety, the lanterns are so forgettable so it doesn't change anything. And ik id hate her farm if I was starting a new. She does look incredibly fun so I'm just gonna wait for a coupon, because I just can't be bothered to play an exterminate again for the 1k plus time. It's just incredibly uninspired (And damn she's probably the only woman in existence to just say "you can keep your eyes down there. I have no eyes..)

Quick clarification: the number of vainthorns you get per run is based on how many optional defixios you get after the required amount. I ran it a couple times in a squad of 4 and we ended up getting 8 total defixios, and that led to us getting 12 vainthorns at round end. It takes more time to do but makes the most out of every abyssal key you spend.
