They both don't deserve any help. As how now DE made them. Alad V, just a worm, worrying only about his life and wellbeing. Nef Anyo just a sick man with culture of false prophet himself. His father, Parvos Granum, roasted him for that, making him feel bad. Because his father was great leader, tha made Corpus that it is nowadays before all of that stuff with other Corpus members, Nef Anyo, for example, with his Void cult, idolness, monuments for his own glory behind his father's. He is a son, that got spoiled without Parvos. Atleast that is how story went, according to DE. And my thoughts.
Yep. PC got to decide, while the consoles just had to go along with it because back then console content was delayed. PC voted to save Alad, but both PS4 and XBOX voted massively to let him die.
You know, I kinda forgot that practically all the high ranking Corpus leaders are focused on their own agendas, so inner conflicts within the Corpus faction are probably very common
If they all band together.....they would have enough power to fight grineer but since they all want power for themselves......they couldn't work together kinda like Warlord.
Honestly Alad V is such a great "villain". All the time spent around him with his banter and conversation and the amount of depth in the story he has, he actually comes off as a person, a human being, and not just a hollow evil figure. He has his ups and downs, and he even rewards us with lots of content and warframes. Whereas Nef Anyo is just a big greedy Daddy's Boy/parental disappointment who bullies my cyborg friends who just wanna make a living. He is _So Pathetic_ that when Parvos Granum himself emerged from the void and heard Nef's claims to be his descendant, Parvos said "so _THIS_ is my legacy? _THIS_ is what became of the corpus? You know what, i might just burn this festering shit to the ground and start a new legacy" and straight up disowned him lmao. At least Alad V had the balls to fight my warframe himself. He dont need no fancy giant spiders to fight for him. Honestly all the investment Nef put into Profit Taker sounds like hes just REALLY compensating for something
Omg.. I'm not the only Alad V supporter! Yes!! Give Alad V life, he had balls to attack us. *he keeps kicking my ass tho* x3 But I still support him... if he'd let me hug him after getting the data for him I'd be happy. (I mean the hug too.. His voice is adorable!)
Imagine if Tyl Regor just sends his message; "As much as I'd love to have a face-off with you, I'm all too busy with my research to be involved in this. I have a proposal, if you choose to wreck havoc on those corpus leeches and keep my labs safe, I'll give you a blueprint to some forgotten tenno weaponry and... armour."
Alad: "Fuck the Tenno, they betrayed their masters!" Alad: *messes with the highly contagious and extremely deadly Infestation* Alad: *gets infected with the Infestation* Alad: ... Alad: "HELP ME, TENNO!"
@@LostJanbo I do too i actually really like Zanuka as a concept, its essentially a Warframe cat/dog (whichever you prefer i don't judge) with dual plasma guns and an ice bomb, what more could you need? Besides, probably better in our hands then a man who went from making Hybrid robots, to Hybrid infested, getting infected with infested, getting cured, then making Hybrid sentient corpus people only to have the fucking ROPALOLYST sit on his city all day wrecking the place Bad time to be Alad V
We get valkyr from him We get mesa from him We get wisp from helping him We get gauss from him (and anything else from disruption missions) We get amalgam mods because of him We get some sick weapons because of him (all Arca weapons were made through alad's work) He helped us in the second dream He realised how f*cked the situation was in the new war, so I don't blame him for trying to stop the attack on the sentients So his only crimes are torturing and disassembling the original valkyr, making the zanuka out of her parts and helping the sentients by making the amalgams (Which didn't even get used in the new war, meaning they were just discarded) Edit: and signing us up for the zanuka project without our consent
The only real big mistake Alad V made is that he was stealing warframes from Tenno. If he was buying them instead, he would've got them en masse with much less hustle. And if he was giving out a Zanuka for each three Zanukas worth of parts... his labs would've been overflooded with warframes in no time. P.S. I really, really want a pet Zanuka. P.P.S. Ah, and about Nef Anyo telling us, that Void will be pleased - guy, we run on Void energy, Operators can jump through the Void (Teleport Dash) and dip themselves in it (Void Mode), to say nothing of merely channeling it (abilities of warframes, Void Beam and Void Blast). Also, most of us have a living humanoid manifestation of Void (The Man In The Wall) living with us on our Orbiters. Who are you to tell us, that you know better, what the Void wants?
Actually you make a damn good point. After all the infestation would be bad for “business” so if it ever got out of hand Alad could help but probably for a price.
Alad V- stealing Tenno’s warframes which aren’t (arguably) alive as his biggest offense, can find a cure for infestation(he’ll probably keep it hit at least it exist now), and offers compensation Nef- dictator, handing me pocket change, telling me to ruin all of Regor’s stuff, and knows I’m a ride or die vox solaris eudico right hand man+ the ‘repo’ incidents
Alad’s biggest offense was zanuka. I don’t know if it’s the warframe or the operator that was hurt, it’s unclear, but valkyr is surely affected. Other than that he’s the coolest corpus villain for sure
But of course the correct option is helping Salad V. 1- more Corpus leaders moving their own agendas means more internal conflict, which means the Corpus get less done. 2- Salad V is a much much much busier scientist, who makes a lot more content than Anyo. But even though we helped him, he calls us betrayers. Why though?
The part of the Corpus that is made of primarily flesh (read: Alad, Nef, and all the crewmen) are basically orokin in biological legacy. Hunhow aludes to this in the Second Dream quest as well. So Alad calling the Tenno betrayers is on point, considering his point of view is that the Tenno backstabbed the Orokin.
@@VandheerOfKazaarn One funny thing is the scale of time. Granum Corpus was one of the original tinkers of Orokin times, and all other important Corpus are just one generation down from him. Same with the Grineer Queens, from the same time period. Yet, we're told the Orokin have been gone for ages. I need a timeline to understand this time vacuum where original first-gen Corpus who are never said to be immortal can live longer than actual immortals.
@@bare_bear_hands I think when they say 'Orokin', they mean the nobility, like Ballas or the Entrati House, much as what is left of them. That being said, I do wonder as well just how were the first-gen Corpus managed to live this long. My bet is probably lots of cybernetics.
D.E should really put this entire event back in the game to give more context to Alad V also to have certain things make sense in the story or just make it a story quest where you obtain Mesa since it pertains to her anyway. It would also give more context to what Tyl Regor is talking about as you go through Uranus
its an old operation event from waaaaaaay back in the day, like Operation Scarlet Spear, or Orphix Venom, if you were around for those two this one was "Operation: Tubemen of Regor"
See, this is where Alad went wrong. Instead of thinking "Oh wow, the Tenno turned the other cheek and actually came to save my sorry ass. Maybe I'm playing for the wrong team." He said, "welp, time to get back to work making new weapons for the Corpus." This is why Natah was the good guy in that situation lol
To be fair Warframes asides from Umbra are practically dead puppets They may used to be alive but just about everywhere in the game treats warframes as dead puppets
And then he fucks you up even more ... ah but we can forgive him ... he gives us afterall one of the ... "hotter" warframes ... with ... a great figure ... so yea , we can forgive hime
I remember I once saw someone complaining about story events being tied to events because new peiple would not know what happened, I didn't get at the time, but I get it now :(
To think this happened 8 years ago... Warframe's story gotta be confusing af to new players not realizing that characters like Frohd Beck died in these kinds of events, and the state of Alad V's infestation.
@@sneedfeedandseed2410 I mean let's think about what the best choice is to do on one hand we have nef who kidnaps children and forces people to work as slaves on the other hand we have alad V the guy who helps us takedown the stalker who risked his own life to help us mind you the only really big mistake he ever made was stealing warframe's for the zanuka project that's it I'm going with him because I don't like nef and he's the Lesser evil of the two
@@Fallout4277 it wasnt a mission A lot of warframes world events used to happen in "operations" that the community would experience together Like how Scarlet Spear and Orphix Venom are technically the new war. This was a very old operation. Also fun fact, playstation had a different ending to the operation. I think they helped Anyo and everyone else helped Alad? Or vice versa idk
@@Xavier-cv2vw true, but helminth is diffrent. You only give a shell - a robot - to helminth. When alad v captured valkyr, he didn't take just a shell. Valkyr wasn't your usual warframe. She was a god warrior, an operator, fused with warframe. Similarly to umbra. Alad v captured her, and skinned the warframe off of living operator.
If nef anyo ever actually video called me like that id bust out laughing and start doing street mime impressions while he sits there in his confusion and embarrassment
Damm as i am reading those comments i cant find any love for Nef i like both just because i have some hate for Alad V for no reason at all (Passive comment)
