It's cool to see weapons that are underrated, this is why I like Warframe, almost anything can be good if you build it right unlike other games.

As an LR4 I absolutely love these videos becuase they give me something to do with revisiting old weapons and making loadouts for stuff I wrote off when I was low MR years ago. Great creativity love to see it

I am so glad I decided to keep the pox riven I got a few weeks ago.

Personally, I like to use the pox built for corrosive heat on a frame with 2 green shards. I know that doing that makes pretty much any weapon good nowadays, but seeing the armor get deleted is super satisfying.

Pox are my all-time favorite secondary in the game, glad to see them get some attention! Back before the status changes I always ran them with Blast + Corrosive damage, because the blast procs on the clouds would knock enemies down repeatedly, and by the time they stood up most of their armor was gone. Wasn't sure how to build them after blast was changed, but now I'm definitely going to try your setup 👌

Hmmm, may have to try Cascadia Empowered on Zakti Prime now. Edit: Sadly, Zakti Prime's "Gas Cloud" explosions are just explosions, no lingering damage clouds. However, this has me further thinking! What If I made a kitgun with high fire rate and status specifically for Cascadia Empowered...

Thanks for the video. Pox turned me off right away because of the weapon model and the dangle-y bits being in my sight line when I was throwing it. But now I've got a thrown weapon skin, so I'll give it another try.

Pox has always been one of my favorite weapons, weirdly: A few years back I splurged and got myself a very silly Riven for it (Back when it was 1.05 disposition it sat around 170% multishot, 285% damage, with a -magazine size detriment) for my birthday. I think I need to uncask that build and try out doing some Empowered + the new Radiation mods shenanigans with it. :D

One of my all time favourites I rarely useit because of the sancti castanas (I actually enjoy the detonation mechanic) but it is still near and dear to my heart

Pox used to FULL STRIP before elements update, which is why they were my most used up till that point. The forced toxin procs were just icing on the cake. Now? You need shards, but still great.

I've been running infested bio weapons a lot lately so yeah might give the pox another shot. Been having a lot of fun with my hema.

My favorite non-incarnon thrown weapon...you can play with the build all sorts of ways...i use viral rad and heat with empowered or flare....both are good....status duration and galvanized Aptitude are great too. 5:27

It used to be a lot better in older warframe where corrosive armor stripped without needing green shards and there wasn't steel path health scaling so corrosive heat would then kill them in seconds. Now the flight speed, small radius, and (relatively) low ammo reserves are just too annoying for me to bother with these. In fact most secondary explosives weapons are pretty crap, i mean the talons were a joke on release and they still kept nerfing them i really don't understand it. And don't get me started on the Aegrit, you need major copium to get those to be functional due to the TERRIBLE ammo economy.

Pox were never bad, just it was used as a status primer that was overshadowed by Kuva Nukor and Epitaph. Nowadays with arcanes you can actually push damage with these, and with 2 emeralds and corrosive - scale them nicely to sweaty levels.

while it would mean more ram-up time, i think it also would add more damage, by switching sure shot with galvanized shot. but still. love that, thanks to all the new stuff, you can do a realtivly cheap, forma vise, setup and it will do quit well. love the video. :)

Used these back in the day when we needed to use corrosive and didn't feel like running ash to remove armour, just 1 or 2 of these and a full blast of the tigris prime and gone

I actually use this in Netracells. Just fire, forget and I rack in the kills. Corrosive and 2 green shards and it alongside the Mutalist Cernos are monsters.

It is shocking sometimes how good empowered is, since it's just 750 flat damage not affected by almost anything that makes your guns do more damage. Viral proc on enemies make em take more damage, and faction mods do work, but it doesn't even double dip. It is a bit of a bummer, but on the other hand if you build fully around it, it does the trick.

This was my main primer weapon before the kuva nukor. Now i just use it as a primer for a weird setup with trinity and marked for death.

I think I ended up doing Cascadia Flare with Corrosive+Heat and GalvShot before Whispers dropped. Honestly I'd written off Empowered for a good while now, but this looks fun.

to this day, my only pox loadout is the one i use for radiation proccing lech kril when hes the sortie boss (took the idea from an old warframe creator). guess ill give these an update!

I'm surprised you never tried viral/heat! I can't imagine that'd be bad at all, especially since you have the constant ticks to stack Cascadia Flare.

I'm a little confused on why electricity is so good. I understand on melee weapons because of arcane influence, but maybe you could explain for primary and secondary? I would love to see a "electricity is good, but why?"
