@@Viddard Hi Ed ! Can you ask DE to make Parvos costume available for warframe, I really want to add it to my corpus themed warframe with my tenet weapons, would be so cool.
Parvos is a perfect example of how to write a lukewarm antagonist. Not quite a villain but definitely not the hero of the story. He's collective and cunning and always has a plan up his sleeve.
@@apothesiscannon1682 emphasised by the fact he's either testing them against us, or essentially feeding them to us so we can aquire their custom tenent weapons, or take them on as allies, but due to either bad writing, or brilliant writing of a manipulative mastermind, it's too early to tell...
@@stankobarabata2406 It won't herald the end of the story at large, as DE have said Warframe's development will continue for as many years as possible alongside Soulframe. After the Void Saga, they'll probably go into Tau/Sentient civilisation, or maybe focus on Corpus storyline with Nef's brother etc, or on Grineer with Worm Queen. Plenty of material, endless possibilities - just hope they manage to nail the execution of it all. EDIT: Huh, Stanko seems to have deleted his comment for some reason.
Fun fact: Those suitcases the other board members were bringing are the Tenet weapons the Sisters of Parvos wield. Each Tenet weapon’s description states that it transforms into a suitcase when holstered.
It's honestly terrifying when you think about how quickly this guy took over the corpus. We've spent years fighting the board members or helping them. But in one swoop this guy restructures most of the corpus and we've barely heared a peep from the previous faces we'd been dealing with. I mean we've killed or distanced most of them anyhow but still... this guy is terrifying. He's cold, calculated, ruthless and just smart enough to keep things going forwards towards whatever goal he has. He definitely duped us into getting him out of his time prison.
no shit, if one of his sisters can control an entire planet and call it a "sector" this guys got the whole origin system on lockdown. the sisters are literally the strongest corpus bosses ever to exist except for profit taker and maybe the razorback armada.
I just saw how dumb my comment is and the only thing that it seemes to build up is that here may be a time when grineer and corpus may fight knowing how they both kinda want the same thing
You’re looking at the Founding Father of the Corpus, the Head Honchos, the CEO and the Head of the Board Members of the Corpus himself. What do you expect?
Parvos the most dangerous kind of antagonist. Because 90% of the time, you can relate to him. His ideas of hard work, self reliance, and determination are laudable. Until you see that they are pushed to a twisted extreme that allows him to justify any manner of atrocity. He's the kind of villain you hate to put down, but when you end up on top of them holding a knife to their throat, you know exactly how and why you got there, and that you have to use the knife and hate that you do.
Exactly as you say. Parvos might be my favorite Warframe villain at the moment because...What he's saying does make sense. And his tenents of Self-Reliance, Hard Work, and even Charity could just as easily be fit onto a truly noble character. But the way he twists them into a model of true, absolute greed beyond what even Nef Anyo was capable of makes him pretty intimidating.
That's how you enter a board meeting subtly tell a multi meaning story about how you axe murdered your brother for being poor and replaced him with an imaginary sister.
I think you're reading this way too literally lol. What he means is that his brother was content with what he had and was just happy to let whatever happens to him happened to him without the passion of growing bigger or stronger. Parvos wanted to help his brother grow, but the brother wasn't open to his brothers teachings or understandings. Instead, parvo's opened up his mind and made an imaginary sister that he could reflect upon and found great happiness in conversing with himself. With his so-called sister, he taught himself self-reliance and could get himself effectively back on track should he go against his own teachings
The best thing about Parvos is he isn’t blatantly evil. Though if you think about it, neither were the grineer. They were slaves looking to find freedom, but over time corrupted into what they are now. Same with the Corpus. If this game had a moral, it would be that power corrupts.
@muran mana Actually no, the tenno are the only reason that grineer or corpus havent erradicated all life or at least much more life in the solar system.
Congratulations... You discovered moral greyness and semi-grounded writing techniques. Are the same person who also likes Thanos because "he's not like all the other villains"?
@@su_patatita_1951How do you know, because the Lotus told you so? The same Lotus that tells you in the middle of a espionage mission to "forget about the main objective, don't let anything alive"? We're the problem, and we're the most power corrupted beings on the system, we do what we please, killing thousands without a thought, then blame it on them because they're the problem
I cant help but think the writers started with thinking "Ah a sisterhood. The sisters of Parvos, that sounds cool!" and then just worked back from that.
He's literally sitting in a frozen point of space-time, waiting and scheming, Anyo made sure he didn't keep direct contact with the board and swept it under the rug
I was disappointed too, but hes also the kinda person to be smart enough to see the Sentients winning the war, and to flee to his pocket-dimension to wait out the results.
Parvos is the perfect harem protagonist, he's such a Sigma that he literally founded an entire faction composed of nothing but men with sigma grindset built into them
@@justsomeguy5020 Is the Board even a thing at this point? It feels like it's just Saladvee and Nef at this point, with no one reasonable left. Sure we have faction warfrare missions, but they literally do nothing. It's been so long since we had any proper lore updates outside of the main questline that all enemies just feel like a joke without any punchline
And how'd start it? Stole from the Orokin. He was caught. His hand removed and beaten near death... but when they left, he laughed and coughed up a single Rubedo gem, which he was able to use as collateral for his first loan.
Thanks for uploading this! With the music turned off and the volume turned down low it lost a lot of impact, and there doesn't seem any way to play it again in-game, thank you DE.
@@gentlemoa9859 I checked under Quests and under Universe in the Codex, and there wasn't any category to rewatch cinematics anywhere, so I don't know what you're referring to.
@@dogloverer1 Oh I see, I tried clicking that button but all I got was a window saying "you haven't encountered any sisters yet". I guess I'll check back after I've done one. Thanks for the heads up!
“So... in my youth, I often imagined I had another sibling. A specter... of sorts. A sister. And in my mind, she and I - oh, how we would conspire... great schemes, risk-trades, rapacious plots." So, a Tulpa?
I honestly want parvos as an ally, hes not evil nor good, let him be a syndacate we can join, if we max them out, we could avoid fighting sisters and just buy tenet weapins abd empherma with standing like in other places, it would remove corpus from raiding the ship in drifters hub( forgot the name) where void angels are at, lets be real tho, why are corpus there tho? Parvos isnt one for money, so if he wants stuff from the void, the tenno could barter with him
I wanna thank my guy Parvos for giving my Operator a obsessive Corpus wife and a sister-in-law (pun intended) that hates my guts I'd try to get more but I'm afraid my wife would try to kill me (and not in the fun way)
He offered his hand to both Solaris and Tenno after his quest as a sign of peace, he also a little bit disappointed if Tenno killed his "sisters" and was delighted when Tenno recruited his "sisters". In the end he is an enemy regardless of how he offered his faction as allies to the Tenno.
Hey, I had someone play for me Cuz I'm not home And after the cinematic I received a gift with like formal etc Can someone tell me what the other stuff were?
Due to all the nerfs and buffs for melee and guns they gifted people forma/boosters/the new Oull mod depending on certain variables. It's on the Update 30.5 notes if you want a more in-depth explanation on what gave what
It was shown when you first logged in after the Sisters of Parvos update dropped. You can view it in-game in the Codex if you go to the Sisters of Parvos section. It says "View Cinematic at the bottom
