Hey I had just watched the vid of your about the key. And had a thought that the key might be the lid less eye that fits in that slot. Or at least if that makes sense. Almost like an eye type glyph of other parts of history?
I feel that Diviri citizens including trax is simply all the alternate versions of the tenno never made it out of the zariman trapped by the void with the drifter (our adult version) being bullied by our childhood emotions.
This is something ive been thinking for past couple weeks, and honestly, i think Dominus Thrax is Rell as a adult, having gained dominion over the void through his connection to The Man in the Wall Which is so amazingly explains Dominus Thrax's connection to emotions
Imma say it- Dominus is a human that got caught in Duviri loop. He fell into the Duviri from somewhere and was tortured by the lands being strange and unknown to him. As he grew in power there, he eventually became the king with his emotions being the time of Duviri Then the Drifter came and he had something to play with but the Drifter did not go the same path as him. Just as our first Drifter did see the child on top of MitW head yet Lotus did not see him, there are differing views depending on what side you are on. Lotus was on the colored side while the Drifter was in the grey scaled world during the end of New War
During last year's Tennocon there was that part where the Drifter ran into Bombastine and Bombastine addressed him as king and had him fetch the mask of and recite the lines of the king. I didn't initially think that Bombastine was just having the Drifter put on a performance but was hinting at a deeper truth that the Drifter was another facet within Dominus Thrax's eternalism, making Dominus a facet within the Drifter's (and by extension the Operator's) eternalism. This would also explain Dominus' fixation on the Drifter over others as they are both the same person.
I had the exact same thoughts after finishing the story *SPOILERS* After fixing the doll you realize that its your doll when you were on the Zarumon as a child. Thrax instantly says that doll is mine and acts out like a child demanding the doll back. The drifter gives up the doll to Thrax realizing Drax is forever trapped as a child while Drifter grew up and moved on. Drifter embraces the pain and suffering of the world eventually overcoming it and moving on while Thrax can’t let go and cries desperately to hold on.
My theory was it was an alternate Albrecht Entrati that shook Wallys hand his statue actually lines up with the mask in his Zariman park and Yonta loves to talk about him in not normal ways and Entrati was the first person to do void exploration
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but I find it interesting that in both Duviri and the Origin System the Zariman is "entering" each dimension. In the Origin System you can see parts of Duviri through the Void fissure the Zariman is coming out of, and in Duviri you can see the stars in outer space. Considering that the Zariman reappeared in the Origin System twice now (once during the Orokin age and again following The New War/Angels of the Zariman) and what Drifter said about not being "rescued," my guess is that the Duviri Paradox will be the events that took place during the Zariman's disappearance. At least in the timeline where the Operator chose not to take Wally's offer to save/rescue them. My theory is that Dominus Thrax is possibly a Tenno who, for some reason or another, has a deep emotional connection to the Void plane of Duviri. So, deep that he can manipulate it at will. I would even speculate that Duviri is a manifestation of Thrax's subconscious; that the Drifter and the Duviri citizens are "trapped" within Thrax's mind. Anyone ever see The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus? I feel like it's going to be kind of like the magical mirror dimension from that movie. I also find it curious that Bombastine and the blue-skinned singer's bodies appear to be made of a mixture of color-glazed earthenware and gold. As if they're artificial life-forms (sorta like the Putties from Power Rangers) that were made to resemble the Orokin. Perhaps Thrax is a Tenno/Zariman passenger that misses/admires life in the Orokin Empire, and considering his influence and power over Duviri, wishes to recreate that Empire with himself as Emperor. However, the Drifter is not willing to be a "puppet" in the "theater" of Thrax's Void-manifested dreamworld. So, the Drifter plans to return to the Zariman, somehow get it unstuck and take it back to the Origin System. But that's all just wild speculation on my part about what's-what. There is so much to take in. I can't wait to find out what's really going on in Duviri!
Definitely an alternate someone. Rel is a good guess! I'm not sure if it may even be another version of ourselves which gives even another issue. Or the one that is linked with The Man in the Wall. Speculation is fun.
Surprised you hadn't mentioned Luscinia; the singer who puts Thrax to sleep with her songs? I feel like having the ability to pull the reins back on someone if they were to, step out of line is a remarkable feat. If the vast majority of Tenno denied The Man in The Wall and his deal, surely he'd have kept sweetening it until someone said yes. Those someones could be Rell yes, a mere puppet promised "control," wanting no more than that as his emotions ran rampant. One who already has shown in our world to have the vocation of a leader through creating the Red Veil. I nominate not just Bombastine, but Lucinia, as two of the missing Orokin Seven Executors. With their core Seven Virtues in mind, embodying a defining trait of who they were, working our way down the line, and to provide an example; Ballas would be Coaction. As the Father if Warframes, he melded Orokin technology (and flesh) with Infested strain and put the Tenno at their center. Bombastine struck me as an individual willing to do whatever they can to survive, each motion done with a clear directive and purpose, yet as a performer always moving to the next choreographed step. Bombastine is Cunning; willing to do whatever it takes to assure the power is kept solely in hand. With Power in mind, Luscinia has exactly that; the ability to truly stop one in their tracks. Putting a being such as Thrax to sleep would surely take an insurmountable amount of Power.
@@SamanthaLaurier Hope this helps: In one timeline, The Man in The Wall made a bunch of tiny deals, giving a LOT of Tenno a portion of his powers. In the Drifter's timeline, most tenno rejected the deal and died. Therefore, like any Trade Chat member, our boy, The Man in The Wall kept raising the buying price of his hand shake until someone bought into the still obvious scam. My guess is that a shaken, yet alive Rell was first to say yes, so he was given "control," and in seeing what he got for simply shaking a hand, two blue fellows were glad to follow. In both cases, IF The Man in The Wall, is in fact involved, he has still come out on top, but that is unrelated. Rell in particular, simply desires control. To that end, he stood against the unknown that so many welcomed, and even created an organization to lead with his ideal; The Red Veil. It would stand to reason, that everyone has a price, and if you struggled with every aspect of who you are, would someone saying, "I can give you a world that directly reflects what you feel, and you will be in charge. Alls you need to do is take my Hand." Would that not be even a little tempting to one who does not understand their own emotions well, and a child no less? Onto the Orokin; there are two things mainly at play in my comment: The Seven, and the Orokin's Seven Principles. It is unclear as to which came first, seeing that the Orokin live extended life cycles, but I digress. Each of the Seven has been shown to personify one of the Seven Principles, being Agility, Endurance, Coaction/Cooperation, Cunning, Power, Speed, and Stealth. As said before, my theory relies on two of the unidentified Seven being present on the ship carrying all the Tenno when everything went "topsy turvy." Bombastine is a performer, and what performers do best is direct attention where they want it and move themselves with purpose; getting your pieces and your opponent's pieces where you want them in a game is very Cunning. Luscinia has an ability through her voice to apease those who hear it. So much so that they fall asleep; getting people to do what you want is the very definition of Power.
Bombastine could very well be the puppet master in the story and not just because of him controlling the drifter puppet, he could be the man in the wall or a puppet in itself being controlled by him. Or it could be as simple as these are new characters entirely and thraxx is the antagonist as it portrays. Warframes story can go from simple good guy Vs bad guy to some really deep lore, so we'll just have to wait and see.
Thrax is not Rell. My theory is that while Rell is an autistic Tenno, Thrax might be a Tenno with BPD. And Bombastine might be manipulating them. Orokin are master manipulators.
I actually never thought of that, "a tenno with BPD" and now that I am thinking about it, yeah, that makes perfect sense. The behaviors and mannerisms match up, it plays into the Bombastine theory, its just makes so much sense! I love this!
Bombastine is not explicitly Orokin. His only trademark is the arm, and we know via Tuvuul that there were no Orokin on board the Zariman. Bombastine's visual appearance is more of Duviri's Unnamed category of physiology, akin to kintsugi pottery. If anyone is manipulating Thrax, it's the Man in the Wall who is a different thing entirely from Orokin.
It's stated that when Albrecht first landed in the Void the world changed into his lab but different likely due to him wanting his work to make progress and his thoughts being only of wanting to make it work. Maybe the emotions of Dominus are just a similar will making the world Manifest in the different moods, also might think that this Duviri Paradox is actually a manifestation of Dominus's original abode or even Bombastine's world (if he is a real Orokin survivor) but Dominus is just more in tune with the void itself so his will changes everything. Also been wondering about the Drifter's universe recently with all the eternalism talk, Are their Orokin still alive since there were never Tenno there? Does that mean Margulis is likely still alive there as well? What about the Sentient war, did it happen? How was it fought? Fun stuff to think about. 0:58 elements? The story of Warframe is one of the darkest I’ve ever encountered from how the Frames are made to stuff like Legs on Fortuna the setting is so messed up it could fit right into 40K.
Think one of the biggest elements that imply that he’s Rel or a Tenno is that when in the trailer, he’s bested and cowering, the Drifter extends to them an open hand.
I hadnt really thought about it, but now that you mention it, that has to be Rell. It makes too much sense. Hopefully they pull the rug out from under us with some crazy reveal.
The chains of harrow are specifically made for old corpus ship tile, the eerie and isolated ambience in old tile is a perfect addition to the dreaded quest. The new tile only makes the once dreaded tile become too bright and too "easy" to accomplish. I hope the next main quest, Duviri Paradox, wouldn't get any kind of nerfs in the world ambiance to the point the purpose of the world itself being boring to look at.
As someone with autism I'm sorry to say that, no, Thrax is (probably) not Rell. Now well I can see where people are drawing similarity's, autistic traits such as a lack of social understanding and a tendency to appear childish and unserious even if you aren't trying to is not the same as acting like a spoiled child that's upset for not getting there way. Don't get me wrong it's a cool theory but I don't see anything other then his behavior to back it up and the behavior just isn't the same chief, so unless we get something else to allowed to that I'm gunu have to say that this one's shelved. (for now)

3 little words that still make me shudder Rap Tap Tap, DE outdid themselves with that quest it’s one of the scariest “”games”” I’ve played beating 99% of “”horror”” games you see get put out (granted I am talking about doing the chain solo, I’m guessing if your are running it with friends or if your a streamer or if this isn’t the first time you are doing the quest it’s a lot less impactful but first time I law loving it as it didn’t rely on jump scares a horror machine I hate.
I'm schizophrenic. I see a dark silhouette of a man often that I named Him. I can't stress enough how cold I got when that intro started. I really am not looking forward to dealing with them.

I feel like the quest didn't give proper answers to a lot of the questions raised here. Maybe we'll learn more about Bombastine & cie. later on but, so far, only D. Thrax's identity has been partially unraveled
It's gotta be Rell, he fought off the man in the wall for YEARS and the Drifter magically gets the Lotus' hand from where the man in the wall showed up? Dominus also sounds childish and acts like a child. This could very well be the space Rell created to hide from the man in the wall.
I'd love to play warframe again. Sadly I'm still waiting for cross save to play on pc. I don't want to start over, and I have so much progress on my ps4 save.
I think I would like Thraxx to be someone other than Rell, maybe a new person. It makes sense for him to be Rell but that's kind of predictable haha. Bombastine hasn't appeared as a trustworthy person from the get go so I wouldn't be surprised if he's serves a larger role in the story. Here's to hoping Duviri launches well!
I just wanna fight the man in the wall already. A battle with the void itself. My thoughts, the man in the wall is using this new character to show its prowess. What I'd like to see is DE use our alliengence for both abilities and appearance for a new warframe, created with the cooperation of the tenno, Solaris citizens, the tau, and hunhow. Light be given support and crowd control abilities, dark focusing on attack power and something similar to nidus' undying. I think that'd be the ideal way to end warframe storyline. It's honestly gotten so boring I barely ever play anymore. They're constantly nerfing things and as a result it's just not fun anymore.
Rel stared long into the abyss . . . Rel fought ALL the monsters, for uncounted centuries. He stood in the fires of hell, to protect the other Tenno, and everything the Tenno have ever done, they were able to do, because of Rel. Everything. I really, REALLY, hope [DE] is not going to mess one of the few remaining good characters in the story. I hope they are not going to do to Rel, what the Tenno did to Rel. They have made so many narrative blunders recently, The New War, and everything since, has been repugnant. They have not so much been 'dropping the ball', they have filling it with feces, and setting it aflame, and smearing the resultant gunk into our faces, and down out throats. I hope this is where they pull out of their current death spiral. I truly do.
