Yeah not sure about that, Stropha has punch through, and more dmg, so Stropha is better than Redeemer in every way.

@@akarshjv6999 no. I don't know if you are aware but the status changes made shotgun status completely different. Status chance now works like crit chance on shotguns. A pretty hefty nerf to a 100% status shotguns.

I'd like to see any other melee oneshot the hydrolyst body without buff, only melee build, using anything but radiation, I tried to "Nerf" its total elemental damage, left only the IPS stats, but boosted crit and crit damage, and it still oneshots harry, it reaches 11.5mil damage into unarmored enemies, it deals 1mil damage into object health type, imagine how much it does after all the "Crit" is calculated, you seriously under-estimate how powerful this weapon is. So yes, I do expect DE to nerf it, as it's pretty much my go-to weapon for literally everything in the game atm, it's in the same position as [Catchmoon] was before they changed it.

@@esoteric404 I'm doing the steel path solo with stropha xD. And I've done over 2 and a half hours of solo mot (not steel path) with it. It deletes everything that's not a heavy unit. I was consistently one hitting lvl 700+ mobs and also heavy gunners and bombards with Armor strip. I'm sure it can keep doing that up to lvl cap since enemies don't scale exponentially anymore. Edit: I agree the weapon is slow in heavy attack mode. But if you use a combo build instead with attack speed mods and bullet dance stance mod, the combo attacks can give you insane mobility and massive sustained dps.

@@exhalerwolf1272 yeah it's a good weapon to be sure. i guess the drawback with a combo build is that you have to run naramon which can prove quite the disadvantage with energy intensive frames. btw i'm also using stropha with 5 forma, heavy build tho, in steel path. i'm using it mostly cuz i only need a weapon on the short times my restraint meter is full (baruuk). it's definitely a solid weapon but i stand by my statement that there are many other melee weapons can deal more damage, which is why it'd be really disappointing if it were to be nerfed

@@esoteric404 the way things are, a slight nerf is pretty much expected, but idk how DE will do it without ruining the weapon. They released it with lower range than redeemer prime, so can't nerf range. Maybe they'll remove the punch through lol. DE always says they nerf weapon because they want more people to use different things, but they never buff the least used ones cause 'rivens' 😂
