Revalorise has a big gun. IMO it should have 225-230 base pen and 270-280 gold pen as it already has excellent gun (minus penetration values of course) CDC is the the that should get massive buff to soft stats
Revalorize in Ru server got the APCR pen updated to 226 and the HEAT is 280 iirc, on top of a few more buffs and it's quite competitive. The CDC needs a massive rework to be competitive. If it had a gun like the SPH TVP it would be playable, the only other way is to make it a TD, as it should be, or raise the alpha to 320 with crazy DPM.
This tank is like a hidden gem to me, the decent mantlet, paired with good mobility, it can actually play pretty aggressively and bounce a good amount of shots
@@unicucumber yeah the soft stats are the problem but they changed them for this tank so it could work now btw this gun is usually on t 8 french heavies so I was pretty happy to get it on a t 8 medium
The thing is when AMX 30B was presented it was alternative to Leopard 1 and STB-1, those tanks were pretty much the same, then they buffed Leo and STB, told AMX to fuck off and it's stuck in 2015 meta like FCM 50t.
@@cikuI00 The "buff" to the STB lowered its already bad top speed, reduced view range, lowered alpha, lowered pen, reduced gun depression (if you don't use the wonky suspension that feels like playing with 400 ping) and the gun is so bad it makes people go bald trying to hit anything beyond 200 meters range. But hey, it has useless theoretical DPM that's way worse than the laser K91 anyway, so it was totally worth it.
Well, part of it is a tank buff, but I also feel like large part comes from new skills. I gave a 430u a go after the patch and this tank feels so much better. Faster and gun actually feels great again, when earlier it liked to troll
tank was balanced as it came out I mean it was already extremly mobile had a very good penetration and a turret armor almost unmatched in t 8 even the frontal armor can bounce almost all without heat because of the slope and the gundepression was also very great now it lost its main weakpoint the bad gunhandling on turret rotation and got more dpm better traverse speed as a bonus no idea why this was even needed
As the other commenter said it's a Ballista. And though it seems ridiculous, in World War II the French actually did mount ballistas on some of their tanks. They used them to launch bad wine at the Germans in the hope of demoralizing them. It didn't work, the Germans couldn't tell the difference. It would have been a different story if they'd used bad beer instead.

Before you could not pop up, shoot, hit something accurately, then hide quickly. The reload is still kind of long, but it’s playable now. I still get PTSD when I see that skin.
I always loved my AP AMX30 even before the patch, sure the gun handling wasn't great but it's so moving and fun to play with the gun depression. But now even better mobility and gun handling on top I just can't wait to play with it tonight. With the added skills I can get even better gun handling with my full XP crew.
From title I expected Pershing. In my opinion it's comparable to best single shot tanks and among top three tech tree tier 8 mediums with Pantera and Udes14. Pershing is now better tank per tier than Patton - I never expected to say this. Pershing with (experimental) turbo has everything - excellent gold penetration, pretty good gun handling, decent alpha and accuracy, at least some turret armor and DPM, gun now makes this tank.
every tank wich is premium needs to be good becouse we pay real money for them, so when you pay real money you need somethink good ! adn ofc MM for premiums needs to be + - 1 no more. in case to make some money !
I liked the mobility, the gun handling has just been brought up to standard, War Gaming has had my money for years and Ive had crap tank, now its what I paid for!
I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone with this tank, I always thought it was one of the best tier 8 tanks and never had a problem with the gun but I played it aggressively because no, it's not a sniper, at close to mid ranges the gun was great(maybe it felt that way because it didn't suck like most French tanks) and you didn't have to spam premium to make it that way like something like the Lis. Can't wait to try out my favourite tier 8 med but lately I have been playing the T17 a lot since it seems a bit OP and might get a nerf and also the 59 Patton and Raumpanzer which both seem to be much better, actually really enjoyed the Raumpanzer and I hated it before, one of the two premiums I regretted buying.
Why did this buff this tank? It was fine before - not fantastic, but workable and definitely better than many other older Tier VIII premiums. I sometimes wish I understood why WG devs do what they do. It doesn't make sense to me.
I still have issues with myshots hitting ground even with best configuration to boost that area.On gold shells i is a lot better ofc P2Hit shells are way better.

Sometimes You need to focus on one target, but sometimes help Your teammates on the other side as well.
I've managed to get this tank dropped for me from the x2 emerald special boxes within steel hunter event that was about 1 year ago or so, and to my believe I still cannot understand how lucky I was. matter the fact this AMX alt Proto 30 got now buffed which makes me happy ofcourse but despite the 1 tank i game I got for free, game itself is still not bueno including gold shooting and disgusting matchmaking

For me the gun handling is worse than before or I'm just extremally unlucky. I've played like 100 or 200 games in the last 30 days and some shots I missed are just unreal. Ofc tank itself is now better because of better dpm and mobility but I don't see a positive difference in gun handling.
Completely disagree, recommend to watch Kajzoo video on AP AMX 30. Its the best YT vid about the tank out there for sure. The gun was never shit. It is al about your attitude and being mature. The gun was not superb, but gun handling was avg/playable, and dpm was already great. These buffs are handsdown unnessecery. I was able to do 4k combined with AMX for 20 games straight. I play better in that than in the fking bourrasque. And I am just a 58% winrate player, so nothing special. All negativity towards this tank is really a skill issue. It is just superhard to play cuz the tank is quite unique. Most players are not able to get the most out of it. Kajzoo however shows exactly how this tank is meant to be played. Watch him and learn. Edit: My 4k session was before the buffs. I says more then enough I think. Ofc I am just one guy with an opinion. Im not a unicum however. If even some random shitter like me can do this, the tank was really great before buffs. Fk everyone else who says otherwise, thats it gg finito xDD
So far about 140k battles I haven seen a single accident apart of the 'Take this new line no matter it costs and then we will nerf the living carp out or it, Or even remove a tank that cost about 700k-800 exp just like that and you will feel very sorry. You slavian people have to realize at least a bit by a bit by a bit, that the swingles don't seem so good for regular people in THE WESTERN WORLD? If you go with that attitude to arabic countries and try to swingle and hussle there... good luck. The bargaining of the price is their way if naking business and that isn't fraud at all. If you have the time and the nerv you will come to the price that satisfied you too, but that is fair and that is how it works there. My brother in law who was for a Finnish perons lets say quite extraordinary and in Finland sometimes very violent, didn't lose his temper in these bargains at all. He was more focused on what was violent. He was well known and my friends fiered him, but he acted very well for an example in Turkey. I had to advise him many times what was appropriate as people in Western Worlds don't even know sometimes what is a compliment and what is a warning. My wife's brother was sometimes concidered as brutal but in the continitium I was offred a daughter in a back room.. so cultural differnces and customs can vary a lot, but at the end of the day we are all humans.
