With the Confederate army retreating up the peninsula closer to the Richmond, General McClellan launches an amphibious operation to land behind the rebel column and trap them. But on the morning of May 7th, the lone Federal division sent on this mission finds itself under attack from John Bell Hood and his "Texan Brigade." In the tangled woods around Eltham's Landing, rebel and Yankee troops collide in a confusing battle. Most of the troops ordered into the action will get lost or fail to arrive in time.
