Yeah my only gripe is there isn't a over arching narrative plot like in Vermintide 2 had. Maybe they'll add one in their first major DLC.

@Nick If you hate grinding you're coming to the wrong game. Vermintide 2 was very grindy as well.

Warhammer: Darktide is fun as hell. The psyker class is so cool, I'm loving it. The only issue I have with the game right now is the performance

@@Cursedzeba i actually just had that bug. My veteran was shouting about a pox burster when I realized the subtitles were stuck on the psyker sayong "Look out! Sniper!"

@@goatmagnum Not a bug, there's a part where the psyker literally argues that the subtitles got what he said wrong. This is specifically for the male Loner pysker (female version doesn't do it, for some reason). "I'm sensing rage, fear, and foreshortened lifespans..." (subtitles end here) (...but psyker continues) "...no, not FOREshortened lifespans, I said FOUR SHORTENED LIFESPANS. I SAID FOUR SHORTENED LIFESPANS! Why are you not paying attention?! Look at me, not them!!"

I remember fighting a lot of Lost and the Damned armies during the 13th Black Crusade event, at the time The Guard codex had just released and most players hadn't realised the full power of Doctrines. I was using a Doctrined Mechanised Guard army, it was practically target practice, mutants, plauge zombies, renegades and the odd Demon Prince have a really hard time responding to 7 chimeras worth of multilasers backed by 55 Guards with Sharpe shooters and depending on point upto 3 Leman Russ. I averaged 2 casualties a battle for most of the campaign 😉

With how mediocre this game has been so far it's hilarious they're throwing all their chips on the story. Vermintide felt like a much more coherent narrative and didn't try nearly as hard.
