Turns out we were missing 2k war tokens which bumps up the shards to 60 instead of 40. Still a little meh but wanted to add that amendment since the reward fix dropped this morning.

Our guild enjoyed it. We went 5-1 at level 3. But like anything, they could increase the rewards.

Having some Tall 50's can help you go up in BF level for some defensive caps, or if they are wide with golds, they can hit more Epic caps while the smaller players can do more rare/uncommon

Overall, I was very happy with Guild War. The rewards were very underwhelming for all the effort it required. I thought it was awesome the top 50 Guilds got a unique background too. If Guild Wars frequency is decreased then rewards would need to be increased even more than they should be. They could also just decrease the cost for the shop. At the top of my list of improvements is the rarity caps for the Battlefield levels. IMO, level 1 has too high of Caps. As a result, Guilds are forced to choose Level 1 for 2 reasons. 1. Their Guild isn’t even strong enough for Level 1. Or 2. Level 2 is a HUGE jump in difficulty. Good video. Thanks for sharing.

So, our guild won 5 out of the 6 matches. Our rewards are equal to 60 shards, or so. Plus the coins and badges. And req scroll. I would like for the season to be a bit shorter? And re-enlistment. The rewards could be bumped up a bit.

I see people complaining about not enough rewards, only 40 shards, etc, but I think people forget that 40 character shards isn't actually bad. 2 weeks of farming 3 shards a day from campaigns will net you 42 shards. Getting 40 unfarmable shards for 2 weeks isn't as bad as people think. And that 40 shards was at the lower end with 1000+ placement, our guild made top 50 so total credits equaled about 60 shards.

If it was a biweekly event with the effort and time spent comparable to GRs i would agree with you. But it's only once a month and the time you spend is so much for the 40 shards that if it was my account 2-3 months ago i would have burnt out(and don't forget that everybody can't play tryhard like the major guilds)

the devs said in the discord that they made the rewards low on purpose so that in case they accidentally make the rewards too high they don't have to lower them and make everyone mad like they did with guild raid

Too many matches, not enough payout. The season ended before the timer. We were crushed twice, and ended up 15th, which is lower than our normal raid position. They need to stop normal arena while guild war is active otherwise its too much!

Strongly disagreed as far as your opinion on the removal of arenas during GW! You're not thinking of all the people who aren't eligible for GW that deserve to have that part of the game while they build up to unlocking it, as well as the fact that it is not hard to keep up with both arenas and GW smdh its 10 tokens every other day.... furthermore, the arena crates add up significantly now as far as gold and upgrades is concerned in relation to the expanding focus of characters that now have substantial value as defenders that are worth investing in.
