The gameplay is quite fun but I do really wish you could zoom the camera out further for a better view of the battlefield as it feels almost claustrophobic with how close in the camera fully zoomed out still feels. It really makes it a bit difficult to effectively command your units with the camera positioned to close to get a good view of the battlefield.
Love the RTS game like Company of Heroes, Iron Harvest, Dawn of war style, i think the building system would be great too, such as build a wall, tower defense on capture point or sector.
Imagine thinking this is an RTS. Its just some cheap game with no mechanics they made to get money from 40k nerds. A baby could beat this game on hard mode and im not joking

Good video ESO. It looks good actually, only thing holding me back is I’ve struggled to get on board with Stormcast and AOS lore, which feels like most of the appeal of the single player mode. The other factions seem great though, can’t wait to see more of chaos!
It's too bad the part 2 is locked behind a paywall. Probably the reason it's only got 8 likes. Consider making it a regular video? With how poorly this game has done, I doubt you'll get anyone to pay to watch it. I would absolutely watch it, but I won't pay to do so. I otherwise liked this video. You had fun and were full of smiles. That's more than I can ask for, considering other channels just nit-pick it's flaws and never look at the redeeming qualities.
I have been hearing this is The Dawn of war for Age of sigmar which makes me excited for the release on the 17th because I Love dawn of war and the unification mod just makes it better
Maybe it’s to do with the fact, that the board games are the reason you’ve heard of warhammer, in the first place?! So why not make games, thematic try to capture that essence??
I respect the warhammer universe and lore that has been established and further developed over the years(decades even), but the market saturation of this ip leaves much to be desired. It’s VERY HARD to sift through the mountain of WH game releases to find the good ones. I’m sticking with WH 40k: Space Marine 2 as my go to WH title and watch the others from a distance. GLHF!
How can you say space marine 2 is your go to when its not even released yet 😂😂😂 have you even tried games like Warhammer 40k Battlesector or Darktide? Hell even Mechanicus and Inquisitor Martyr are good games. Its gamers like you that ruin an IP and give negative reviews before even playing the games.
Honestly, I was sort of interested in the game, but Sigrun's design reminds me of the countless video game characters like abby from the Last of Us where they basically make women look like men and go with the whole "strong woman" theme that we see in Hollywood over and over and over. I'm not supporting that. Got the whole square jaw, rough skin, shaved head look copied to a tee. They even got her talking down the men. Following that woke formula to a tee. I'm happy to have strong female characters, but that doesn't mean you need to make them look like men or take away everything feminine about them. Stunning and brave I'm sure, but this is a cliche at this point. It's not even remotely original. It doesn't even make your game appeal to women - I can vouch for that because I am one. I can't wait until companies stop doing this crap and start making appealing characters again. Your game was destined to not sell gangbusters and you just had to make even less appealing on top of it. I hear it's in trouble financially and I'm not surprised why. Niche genre + woke character design. A recipe for disaster. Niche games need to stay out of identity politics if they have any hope of breaking even or turning a profit.
Now we need that for 40 with all armies XD i want to play Custodes in a Video Game, they Deserve to be part in a Game, without them the Imperium would not be any more
Is there no friendly fire or is it switched off in options? As much as it is fun to use the dragon, it is pretty op, if you can breathe fire through your troops. I think for the sake of more realistic play and challenge this could be rectified, but maybe it's just me. Other than that the game looks sick, that comes from a person not really heavy involved in strategic games.
EVERYOOOOOOOOOOOONE, just play skylords reborn (battleforge-was p2w back days so they stopped servers) its same but i think better graphics, free to play, you see beautiful cards of units down instead of that little cicrlec of units... sorry for my english, but pleeease someone look at that
Its an okay game to be fair, but you said you're glad someones finally brought the table top to life and imo this doesnt really play like AOS table top at all, but that doesn't mean its a terrible game, its just not great either, has some teething issues that even now as i post this a month later still need fixing, its slightly undercooked.
You can search for the gameplay specifically on the PS5. Apparently it runs great and looks good. I may even purchase it as its on offer right now until the 5th of this Month.
Not really. Diablo uses the top down camera, yes, but it’s technically an RPG in how the player controls their own personally created hero. This is much more similar to StarCraft 2 in terms of gameplay mechanics. You’re summoning soldiers and champions into the battlefield in order to select them and tab-target enemies. Certain soldiers/champions have special abilities with cooldowns like StarCraft, but most of them time you’re just kind of watching them do their own thing before commanding them to the next spot.
Lame... Where are Ultramarines, Salamanders, terminators, Devastators, Blood Ravens, Angels of death, Astartes... I don't get why make this? Instead of shining the heroes they already have...
