Warhammer Fantasy 6th Edition Battle Report | Dwarfs vs Orcs & Goblins 

Usually i cant sit through unedited battle reports, but the consistently positive energy no matter who is taking hits make these ones so much more fun.

Flame cannon is S5 but not armor piercing. So only -2 AS. Organ gun is S5 and have armor piercing, so -3 AS as specified on its profile page 16

This was a great episode and I have really enjoyed it. Looking through the comments there is a lot of love for our orc general Matty Bee. Always great to see him in your match ups. You have a great format, great camera work considering you are playing and you are a natural presenter. Love your videos and glad to have you amongst our sixth edition community.

This is by far my favourite warhammer content on RU-vid, great work. But any chance you could get some squig hoppers, boar boyz or even maybe a giant for Matty B? I really think the green skins need some faster and harder hitting reinforcements to give them more of a chance

Good Strategie to save the Flank first (because of Scenario Points) Your Opponent plays a normal Game of fighting not to win the Szenario, he goes the Orcish Way, that is very very sympathic. Good Guy. And the Squig General was amazing

Hate allow repeat in the first turn of that combat, if an aditional unit charge in that combat, like the miners, its considerated the same combat. You did well. Thanks for the video! Very very good! Beautiful to see your armies painted and all that fantastic scenery! Just a few things: -on dwarf turn 1, gyrocopter is St 3, AP -1. That means the poor two goblins who made a 6 on an armour save should've lived! -again dwarf turn 1, dwarf cannon is St 8, not 10, right? And with rune of smith he can reroll misfire on the first roll, not for the bounce, I think -dwarf turn 2, grudge thrower made a misfire!!!! XD Don't you think I hate dwarves? XD

The AP on war machines profiles is total AP strength included, so Flame cannon is just AP -2 total. Got FAQed looking for source.

Great report good sirs, and always a pleasure to see the Meanest, the Greenest, Matty B-est. Catching up on your content. Also Stos, I gotta say your little interlude, where the mic had lost battery, you spoke very calmly and clearly, but I thought I was listening to Warhammer 6th Ed. ASMR. :D

Uff...I am in 48:31 yet, but what i am seeing...this two fanatics don't die, there are room enough to put them in a slightly diferrent direction and still be at 8". Doesn't matter, but mate... Very rough game for the O&G, the scenario is a disaster. The defender gets the deploy 2nd AND the 1st turn. Amazing. And a giant no-man-land and two objectives almost in the other corner of the table...what's that, 100 cm? 5 turns of march movement to reach them. Simply impossible. And a terrible miscast in the N4 chaman in turn 1 (not the reroll rod this time...). Dead game by the beggining. But is not the first time. The flanking scenario is a disaster as well, very rough to the attacker. GW didn't know how to create missions, the attacker must have a very important advantage because is him the one going to cross the battlefield, risking his flanks and with the time against him, while defender sit on the grass and shot the attacker to death. In flames of war, the defender have an ambush, but almost everytime goes second, AND starts only with half of his army.

If you want more scenarios for 6th ed, take a look in the General's Compendium. One of the best 6th ed fantasy books imo

Great Report as always! Only one thing, a cannon ball only can hit something that is on a hill if it lands on it (after the first artillery dice)! Poor Orcs they deserve better!

Really enjoyed the narrative! Did you test the squigbrains every player turn or every orc and goblin friendly turn? I think the test may have been able to be taken in the dwarf turn too. Anyone manage to scribe a list of the questions made during the video?

Bro, I love your enthusiasm and the instructive ways you narrate these reports. You manage to keep the bullshit at minimum and always focus on showing the relevant events going on in good spirit. Good shit! But please bench the dwarfs (and the wristwatch) because these dwarf games are always so one-sided. You pick make up scenario where dwarfs always defend this and that and then you just rain hellfire upon the coming horde as they are barely able to reach the objective in a given 6 turn limit. Well yes, I have to agree the guest of yours had some pretty bad luck and he made some questionable plays (especially with sending out the three fanatics to the choppa) but still.

Great battlereport :) one thing: in 7. Edition a kannonbal musst land on top of a Hill to bunce ontop of it. If it hits the grund infront of the Hill it smash into it and don't Hit the units ontop. Don't know how it works in 6. Edition xD

Unless it was FAQ'ed the Panic test from the flame cannon is taken immediately after the shot is resolved, instead of at the end of the phase. Can change non-guess shot allocations.

Tecnically the rocklobber would have 1 Crew left standing around and beedkng to do a panic test. Pozentially casting ither units to panic aswell

Interesting question is that when shaman "behaves like loose squig in the compulsory movement phase" mean that he will be dead on doubles? Opinions?

Where does it say Mork Save Uz cannot allow rerolls for a miscast? Flame cannons are an immediate panic test too! You don't have to wait until the end of the phase.

Stos have you considered trying out the 6.5 book to mix up the gunline approach (I believe you lost to it in your dwarf civil war video)? Dorfs get a movement spell (!!!!) with the Anvil, and a bit more versatility in Rangers. Add in a Dogs of War/RoR cav unit or two in your rare slots and you have something with actual tactical movement potential!

I do love watching your batreps. Even warming up to the Necromunda games. Always a good laugh

First time watching a fantasy battle in a very long time! i enjoyed It. though it was painful to watch even at the end of turn three the orcs have barley moved out of there deployment zone! absolutely crazy! very hard to watch in that regard not much action. but the amount of fluff incorporated in the rules really makes 6th so charming.

U Solved the misteryof the cannon. They missfired because the Sun Was reflected by the steal and the Crew pressed the qrong buttons. In the shade they see the correct buttons

hello, guys. i found this randomly by searching warhammer fantasy. im actually an oldschool fella. my friend from high school and me played WH fantasy back in around 2000-2002. still have a picture of us 2 standing in front of the big playing desk, like the one you are playing on as well. great childhood memories. ive seen this when looking up the state of the game rn, and the different races. they changed, and added some stuff, but i noticed you can still use some of the old figures. after 2002 i played more magic, and trades all my bulk for a sliver collection. so here is my question, would people still buy or are there still collectors/painters, who are interested in end of 90s, very early 2000s khemri units. most the ones i have arent even primed. the only thing that is most likely not recoverable is the catapult, but ive kept all this in a foam filled suitcase vor over a decade and a half. im 32 now :D i own 2 scorpions, 1 bone giant, 1 settra with chariot, basically out of the box, with banner, 1 khalida only ever applied white primer, 1 Carrion just out of the blister, 2 tomb swarms, around 10 tomb guards, 3 ushabti only applied black primer, 1 lich priest. my plan was ideally to give it to a person that still plays warhammer, or at least enjoys and has passion in painting the models. on ebay, and such its hard to find people with real interest, who dont just want to make a good deal, and then resell. cause i think i really have some old pieces here, that can be valuable to somebody else. maybe you have some advice for me where i should put my effort towards, would highly appreciate it.

Maybe deploy the Flame cannon in the Front next to a unit. U can hit stuff in first turn and maybe u even cause some units to run away of the table in first turn

In 6th ed can crossbows shoot in 2 ranks? My rule book is in storage atm. Also wouldn't war machines block los? Hatred for miners, not for warriors as it's their 2nd round.

Fantastic lovely batrep keep them coming! I am biased towards O&G but I feel that this list is not suited to beat Dwarfs. Low strength and defensive small blocks all with full command, so many points could have been saved to get more killy stuff like Trolls imo. The Dwarfs hardly lost anything 😉

Remember the rule of fighting with hand weapon and shield gives +1 armor save ( page 88 of the rule book )for a 4+ for the orcs, it seemed you just murdered them with str 5 and no save, where they should have had 6+ saves :)

This is a cool scenario but seems to heavily favour the dwarfs. big points the orc player for playing orcs like they would act and not very out of character like a guy on another less good gaming channel I won’t name

But i have coffee, some pastries, I´m free and tired so don´t mind sitting here watching this.. Wodnerful! That scenario is rough even for Orcs 6 Goblins. They don´t get that much further with just M 4? I do like various scenarios and background though. :)
