Good battle report. That eagle wouldve lost its combat against the thunderers first turn due to being outnumbered and very likely double outnumbered, meaning he wouldve very likely broken from combat ;)

Very nice battle report, thanks for that! I know it’s Rules as Written, but in case of a Great Weapon with runes there’s an argument to be made that Sorcerous Miasma turns that into a mundane great weapon, not hand weapon.
Great stuff, very fun batrep. Good to see the Chaos dwarves crushed - my own dwarves have a battle against them (much like you, for the first time!) next week. Here, get Boric some pals to bear him aloft on a shield!! 3 extra wounds for 60 points is great. I think the Master Rune of Smiting is the right choice also - if you don't roll completely crap!
Oh and you can use Look Out Sir! against the Curse of Hashut. But you probably would have fumbled that 2+ as well ;) And the Dreadquake still has to roll for reloading even with the Ogre Loader.
The black orc warboss rule - I'm a bit confused by it. I always thought it meant it just takes up a lord and hero slot but still only counts as 1 character choice. So for example could you take another goblin shaman as you are allowed max 4 heros, max 1 lord and max 4 characters in a 2000 point army? With this extra shaman you would have 4 hero slots, 1 lord slot but still within the 4 character max limit, or does it mean that the Black orc warboss counts as 2 character choices?
When Slayers die, they benefit from the slayer rule meaning they still wound on a 4+ against targets regardless of toughness. I think you also forgot the outnumber combat resolution aswell. The dwarfs wouldve likely double outnumbered the infernal guard and lammasu on that first combat with both, so even with 1 combat res from outnukber would've caused them to likely panic Good battle report though. Keep it up :)
Falling back is two dice and pick the highest ( not both). Also panic is only caused by units 5+ unit strength dying . Still , who cares? Great battle report

I also use tons of Age of Sigmar and third party models. Not a fan of the game itself but there is so much kitbashing potential and many beautiful models. Stoss your lord looks absolutely amazing lol. Happy to see the two Dwarf factions heal the schism with bloodshed. GG
