Hey Legend, loving the series! I'm just wondering, when you get to the Dark Elves, would you mind making a separate video for Morathi? The fact that she needs Chaos corruption instead of untainted makes her feel really different to Malekith, and it can be a real pain to get out of the home province between the constant threat of rebellions and Alith Anar

I loved the editing of this video. The little clips with you made the "yuck" noises made me laugh and I would LOVE to see more of that stuff where there's a joke here and there I thought it was great.

Just a tip here for you Legend. You could make 3 more videos, called "Legendary Difficulty General Guide - Mastering the Cheese", in which you give more general advices about the legendary difficulty, instead of spreading them throughout all the race-specific guides, or to let people master legendary difficulty without actually looking at the single race guides and do the campaigns for themselves. You could sub-divide the general series into 3 videos: - Campaign map (for example the importance of rebellions, levelling the lords and trait-skills priority, reinforcing, construction priorities, managing the money, sacking and occupying, sacking over and over, down to the more cheesy things like untick the control large armies when heavily outnumbered...) - Battles part 1 - Field Battles (ex lord tanking, importance of ranged units, best spells to use and when or against who, wasting ammunition, formations and army set up, reinforcing armies, best general units, best items, managing the damage you take, army loss penalty, the post-battle importance of running down endmies, blobbing, cheesing with vortex spells...) - Battles part 2 - Sieges (towers, not climbing the walls, managing the gates, artillery focus, positioning your ranged units to make the most out of them, cheesing the spells to hit both units and the gates or both units on the walls and down on the ground, making holes and exploiting with artillery...) What do you think? I reckon it will be really helpful for the whole community! :)

Imagine watching this after the waagh rework, when this is almost impossible because orks on melee are now so fkin bloody strong that orion and others are dying super fast

Hawk riders might be sub par skirmishers but they have a nice charge bonus and you can unlock them by taking Parravon then use them to charge units on walls in sieges so make Durthu sieges quite a bit easier and can rear charge the lord with Durthu to goon them out real quick.

I loved the guide other then the dislike for the flying units. They aren't good but they answer the problem of the humans building walls early(Which you even talked about how elves sucked at dealing with this). A couple eagles and or hawk riders can kill lords in the siege without taking any damage because they always stick their archers where your army will be. The quick moving eagles and flyers can kill off melee units and heros/lords sitting around, which is incredibly fun. They do fall off incredibly fast but in a first 20 turns thing it is worth noting that you can use flyers for an early wall siege

I always attack Parravon first in my V. Hard campaigns. Turn one world roots as close as possible, have the waystalker run to it. Turn 2 the lord will have force marched to the minor settlement. It’s still not the easiest battle, but I’ve managed to win it with around 30 casualties. From there you can take Parravon itself which has a pretty neat landmark.

I wonder how some of these will change with empire forts, extra greenskins in the drakwald, and extra welfs in the drakwald, not to mention, Balthazar and Karl being on the field at the same time

huh, i just finished my wood elf campaign on legend, i restarted twice thinking i had to rush paravon otherwise they'd destroy me. the first fight with paravon is ok if you set up a pretty basic firing line with your hero and orion being the frontline and the guards being your flanks, then using the wild riders to kill the trebs and archers, wild riders are surprisingly broken early game, mine racked up 400 kills and also, orion's starting spells are crazy good.

I'd love to see a Luthor Harkon Legendary guide and whether or not you'd recommend to stay in Lustria or fuck off to another part of the map.

the problem here is that another hero (tree) in a war with dwarfs who are way stronger than orcs and already on hard difficulty recruit more troops. so as soon as you arrive there, you have an army 20x of dwarfs with iron discipline. The only exit I see is to level up on orcs nearby by engaging a new war. And if you go for orcs, they are too far to go immediately. So you ether recruit more troops, or risk the fight. Because at the beginning you have just 4 archers. 1 from beginning and 3 you hire if you play as Durthu. So it is not the same as in your guide.

i would always try to attack wood elves first back when dlc first came out, its a sure fire way to lose

My policy for playing anything near clan Angrund to either confederate or kill them because of the ghost agents that cannot die. Kill them before they get confederated by the main dwarf faction where getting rid of the ghost agents means taking out the faction itself.

Sorry about necroing an old video, but I've been trying to play a WE campaign and am reaaally struggling with sieges, there doesn't seem to be any good way to approach the walls without getting destroyed by the towers. For that matter... how do you manage seiges as vampire counts? Do you just have to accept that it's going to turn into a massive slog once your winds of magic runs out?

How the hell do you make them seem so easy and straight forward?

I'm struggling on turn 4 to deal with the beastmen invasion which derails me from going after Broken Nose which builds up an army too big for me to handle so I thought I'd look up a guide and great ... this is no longer the Wood Elves start at all.

On a serious note, I'd love to see Skaven Legendary First 20 Turns, on a hilarious note Chaos Legendary First 20 Turns even if it were just a roflstomp. :P

I was hoping this would work in warhammer 1. Turns out that the Broken Nose had more troops (still managed to beat them but lost more troops so it was only a "close victory"). Didn't give me the option to sack, only to raze or colonise. Also turns out you only get 1 building slot per main building level in 1, not 2. Oh then the fey enchantress attacked me on turn 6 with a full stack. GG, as in Grail Guardians ruined my day.

How I could commerce with other factions, that aren't wood elves? I can't reach the edifice that it requires.

If anyone of you guys play coop, wood elves are OP in coop (unless your partner is playing the beastmen or chaos, but I don't know why would you do that unless you want challenge). You simply feed all settlements to player two, you get a lot of ember, and unlike other allies, player who will never betray you. Also, they'll probably have trouble with norsca, wood elves can go and burn all of it to ashes easily.

hold on, does talon of kurnous work with disbanded lords like faction-wide bonus exploit like canopic jars or skaven settlement income boosting traits or knowledgeable? Because it specifically says it only affects lord's army. I mean, if it does affect the whole faction, well... No,I don't think it works that way. Please, tell me it doesn't, I can't check it myself for the lack of wood elves DLC.

How should i level up Orion?

The start that works best for me is to delete everyone except Orion and the agent and just get $ for like the first 30 turns. Then once you’ve hoarded enough $, build 2 20 stacks and run through all the wood elfs.

I've read it's crucial to avoid taking settlements without razing them first. Buildings above 1 cost amber! Also a focus on ports is supposed to be great. Can Moussillon be taken soon? Might help a lot to get alliance with Bretonnia. Weird making many outposts but not defending them, but might be cool if they are scattered between allied cities. Any tips on getting a second stack fast so you can still defend while taking Norsca or some other remote place? There are 9 super outposts, right? (or is the just the old game?). Couronne, Marienburg and Altdorf were three of them. Probably only achievable when enemies take them from your allies so you can retake them?

I keep thinking I'm nailing this campaign then a full stack of beastmen come from outside my area of sight and wreck one of my settlements... not made it to turn 12 yet without being nuked.
