This is just epic. I am working on my nmm skill for a bit more than a year with a few great moments but no consistent success in getting it done yet. I will grind through it, till it works and your miniature is a great moral boost to see, what is possible :) How long did it take you to get a consistent level of nmm (not this epic level but at least a "this is nmm" level)?
Thank you very much for your comment, I can't tell you exactly how long it took me. What I can give you is a couple of tips that helped me a lot. The contrast between light and shadow has to be very high, if you don't do it, instead of metal it will look like stone, and it's very important that the edges have reflections to simulate that they are shining. Those two factors are very important.
thank you very much, of course, it depends on what you are looking for, for example, this kind of paint for game miniatures is not worth it. i painted this figure for the golden demon and that's why i spent so many hours on it.
@JOSEDAVINCI_ iv had a long break from the hobby but I'm hoping to start grey knights after their refresh. Il be keeping an eye on your work for tips for sure.
@JOSEDAVINCI_ Good and you? Love your work. I want to do an entire nmm grey knight army. Looking for the right paints, I want to make it as steel looking as possible.
