Oh god I forgot how awful the cinematics were. Makes it better IMO. I especially love how the pilots look like they stepped out of GQ. Music still rocks.
I think the reason why they had some of these cutscenes that would live action because there's a lot cheaper to do rather than animate them a couple actors couple thousand a piece and you have your game. I mean they couldn't have paid these people more than a couple thousand piece they're acting is horrible they they weren't doing anything else that's for sure probably only took them a afternoon no retakes. This was one of the first games I played for the PlayStation it came in a weird box not a CD case. I still remember these cutscenes from back then.
Mine came in a cardboard case too. If I recall, I got it after seeing the box art on display and thought it looked cool when I was a kid. It was around the time I bought Sentient.
There are 3 possible endings depending on how you destroy the mouth of "The Face of True Power": * Stranded Ending - Destroy its mouth normally with weapons when its blue. (RIP Mothership) * Sacrifice Ending - Crash the Warhawk into its mouth when its blue after destroying it's tentacles. (RIP Hatch and Walker) * True Ending - Eject the Warhawk into its mouth when its blue after destroying its tentacles by pressing Triangle, Circle, X and Square simultaneously. The epilogue dialogue has groups of random possibilities too. There's a cheat code to read them all if I recall.
