wrt the warlock discussion, what they need is a support demo lock that handles the DP and other stuff, but since no one wants to play that they'd need to make that buff raidwide like in wrath

Creepy framing the discontent from SoD Hunters as being focused on meta chasers is contentious, to say the least. Glad the Marksman enjoyer is happy it's getting some love. It doesn't really change that there have been frustrations and problems throughout SoD and now the PTR as well. Things like: - Hunters still only have three pet slots. This is annoying for managing useful pets and locking a specific slot for learning pet skills. It feels counterintuitive to them adding in new pets. Do they want us to enjoy pets or do they want to limit us? Unclear vision here. - Lion being made baseline has now created the problem of Melee Hunter raid value being nuked from orbit. I imagine a similar problem could occur for Cat Druids if Wild Strikes is made baseline. - Speaking of Raid buffs, they overtuned TSA and TSA melee became a thing. So fun to get pushed into the MM tree while being a melee class. The ultimate bitch role. - Melee Hunter got shoved into Dual Wielding. Polearms got tossed into the bin despite being tuned solely for Hunters. Thank you Blizzard for making Hunters scrap with every other melee for weapons because someone wanted to role-play as Rexxar. Now there are even more issues in PTR. If you want good, condensed feedback of the Melee Hunter frustrations then this is a great thread: eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/melee-hunter-functionally-dead-in-the-water-as-is/518753 There just isn't any clear vision for the build. Why are they adding avoidance runes? Why so much anti synergy in things like Wyvern Strike, Trap Launcher, and Dual Wield? I have no idea what Blizzard wants Hunter to be and I am not seeing good evidence that they know either. The PTR has added some really exciting changes for classes like Warrior, Rogue, and Paladin. I am on board with them making big changes. Hunter just needs a ton, and I want to see movement on the devs part. I'm tired of the build being scuffed design while Classic Andys bark down everyone's ear about how the build shouldn't even exist.

Blizzard killed warlock tank when they made soul link not usable in meta form.

Couldn't a lot of the issues with world buffs and parsing be solved by WCL only publishing logs without world buffs? Parsers no longer have to worry about dying and losing them and then rhe raids could be tuned around not having world buffs like they should be. This solves the ussue with raids being too difficult for casuals as well. World buffs should be a buff for noobs to help them clear content. It shouldnt be used for sweats to do more damage and kill bosses in 15 seconds. I hear sweats complain that raids are too easy but they have every world buff, enchant, and consumable possible that make it easy for them. Maybe im not approaching the subject correctly but it sounds good in theory.

glad stance being simple in pve is fine, it's sword and board warrior, it's the most generic kind of rpg fantasy, even dnd 5e has their similar thing the champion fighter be extremely simple

Fan of knives is stupid. I don't see why they've done 3 AoEs for rogues with shuriken toss as well. Aoe for rogue at the very least should be a CP spender. Fan of knives with focused attacks is utterly brain-dead gameplay
