Invocation and Everlasting Affliction do not have synergy. EA constantly keeps refreshing corruption, which means your corruption is never ticking down to below 6 seconds remaining. Agony and siphon life are still able to benefit from EA, but the damage done is negligible. Even with great damage rolls, great DOT management and bis shadow gear, affliction still lags 200-300 dps behind destro. Would really love to see Affliction get some love in phase 3, right now it's just a dead tree for both tanking and DPS.
Btw to answer your question yes the trinket will work. I let my priests and mages buff my pet and lo and behold demo knowledge was giving me 62 spell power. Was nuts and I don’t even have trinket, but yes and ANY STAT CHANGE works. Keep checking the buff it fluctuates over time. There’s a reason that Dark Riders is a pain cus that rune is broken.
i dont see why blizz decided to make caster gear with negative stats. does any other class get gimped by their gear in this way? locks are supposed to be tanky for casters since they have no easy instant escape moves. have they mentioned anything about changing up the talents in SOD? warlocks have alot of junk talents that never helped much and just where taken to get to the stuff higher in the talent tree. dark pact is also a very weak final talent for a class that has lifetap
No, some things shouldn’t be changed. If it’s all perfect, why even have it? Then we can just go back to retails mistake that they’ve been backtracking on. Repeating the same mistakes is something i hope these devs do not do.
lol yeah healers already complain about locks tapping and hellfire so now we have even less stam fucking stupid, at least give us a shit load more mana or reduce the mana cost of our spells./
Just switched to affliction for tanking. The amount of sustain and damage absorption is just too good. Im not tanking for dps, i tanking to beat the content so I don’t care much about dps loss. As long as I hood aggro and I’m not dying I’m good.
Affliction will only played in pvp it looks nowhay it can pull the absurd dmg destruction will be doing so people will say yourl are meming and wont take u.
dark pact is wasted with grimoire rune, best use of dark pact is to keep your imp passive for the faster regen so wouldnt ever benefit from the chance of increased damage, or vice versa
