This is very cool, but how about the motor/winch overheating? Had any problems like that? Other than that issue i would be on board to try one out.

would this be the same as 8hp or 12 hp motor?

Can i still buy this setup? I cant visit the double winch website or find much online anymore.. Would love to upgrade to twin motors

@whytezombie lol. ok man. i do know the feeling. getting thru or over that obstacle and not having to get out and pull cable is nice. i'm considering putting this motor on my 8274, but it's $1400.

@00tjdriver No need for name calling... Winches certainly are useful in a bind but if you can get through something without them it just feels better. Know what I mean?

Lockers in mud like this will only make all 4 wheels spin equally. A good winch is money well spent in terrain like that.

Meh, PTO winch all the way, 5 speeds and reverse powered directly off the power train power take off. Never run out of winching power whilst the motor still runs. Only drama is that new vehicles nowadays are not coming out with PTO facilities. Dumb.
