Coyotes will wait at the tree lines like this, then as soon as a baby cow is born-they run out and eat them alive, hogs also do this,, female cows are also very docile, don’t have much of defense, 2 coyotes can kill and begin eating a full grown cow pretty easily-they bite on the throat and bleed them out cow gets weak,, and they will target the pregnant cows because they are slower and less mobile,, two major red flags about this coyote in particular 1: it looks extremely healthy, very solid weight very thick shiny coat,- means it’s been eating good and most likely been a problem for this farmer a long time 2: it’s gotten to a point where it actually feels safe going in at the food source in broad daylight- The time to nip it in the bud here is long overdue
I don’t know your references but judging by the long detailed articulate explanation I’m gonna tell myself you know what you’re talking about and a good source of information
@@blackcoppermaran2524 or unless it’s a pack of them Vs 1 adult cow. 1 lone coyote can’t take on 1 adult cow but a pack will get 1 adult cow in trouble.
@user-ef2xo1ux7qI don’t care how much you like hunting, this isn’t “hunting” maybe you can argue defending, but not hunting, as there is no purpose in killing the animal besides it from destroying your property
@@david-468 And you are correct that is the reason, they rip apart other animals and eat them while their still alive. They look cute, they are, but they're also murdering vicious cute killers.
@@david-468 Yep I agreed with you, it's not hunting and I agree the reason for killing them is for killing and destroying a persons property. I also agree that if they're not destroying a person property or livestock there's no reason to kill them. We're just saying the same thing but differently. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
Hey... clean shot. As a farmer. We say thank you. They can and will tear up many kinds of live stock for sport. Not to eat. Just to kill. So all of my animals say thank you.
Good job on not squeezing that trigger under the pressure of being instructed to get on with it… good control, patience and accuracy in shooting. Don’t coach others to rush the shot!!
@@axeeliteghosted that's nature my point is they wernt put in the earth to go to a shop for food like us human beings . They have to eat and kill ther food in other ways simple
Wtf? How does this small bastard can kill a cow, I thought a coyote is something like a fox, who will hunt something like chicken, duck, rabbit, etc... P.S. I am not American so I never seen a coyote in real life.
@@JohnSmith-um3jk... A few questions,,,, Do you feel sad when you took 12 year old Pocahontas?? Do you feel sad when prices of meat, milk, chicken and eggs go sky high?,,,, oh yeah, you're vegan. So, do you feel sad when farmers loose ther crops to wild animals and insects???
@@umpatas5468 I think it's pretty accepted that like killing shouldn't be enjoyable and gore shouldn't either. You could also say you dissect the animal for fun and bleach it's bones and if someone asks why you say why not as well. I think the point is wanting to see extra brains and blood or gore for no reason than you like it doesn't make you a more stable person
@@umpatas5468 Reality of what? Make an actual point to rebuke me instead of just saying I don't accept reality. What reality do I not accept? Are you making the argument that it's in fact healthy for individuals to want to see animals killed in more violent than necessary ways? Not sure what you're saying.
Yes it may be sad to watch something so cute to get shot but let me educated you right quick, coyotes are monsters they will attack animals on farms attack family pets attack babys and people and injure people for no reason
Thank you for keeping it a clean kill... Ive unfortunately seen some short vids of both bow(mostly bow) and gun hunters being shit shots and just standing there while the animal suffers 😢💔 so thank you for making it quick 🙏 you're the good ones 🙏
@@Crunkerv12 Well @fat.guy.with.lightsaber, You've obviously never seen an animal suffer at the hands of an incompetent person.. or you're one of those incompetent people. Hence you're lack of care and telling me to "chill" when all I did was applaud these guys for not being shit shots. Enjoy your parents basement.
Some abnormally rounded, large, and upright ears for Yote. Could be a mutation, a certain species of Yote for the region I haven’t seen yet, or even possibly a hybrid via dog or fox throughout the lineage.
I went out coyote hunting with a friend, the only guy I had big enough with optics was my 308. When I hit that coyote it went splat. Gotta get a smaller rifle for coyotes.
Curious, idk if this is a right place. I just bought chickens and goats. They’re living space is fine. A 6ft wire fence but its weak for a coyote. I just had to discharge a coyote earlier and at the moment only gun I own is a .22 semi rifle. Will that do or would I be out of luck killing one of them bastards with it
Shot placement is everything. There are some rounds like CCI Velocitors and Browning (Winchester) that fling a 40gr bullet in excess of 1400 feet-per-second. Winchester also make a 42gr load that runs about 1350. I would take a 100yrd shot on them, but I would wait for an ideal presentation.
In Massachusetts 22lr is all we can use for coyote at night for rifles. Can use hand guns no bigger than 38. During the day you can use anything. 22 will kill a coyote but shot placement is vital.
We had between 1500 and 2,000 head of range cows. In 42 years I think I lost 4 or 5 calves to coyotes & I can’t be positive one or more of those weren’t still births. We hunted and let an extended local indigenous family hunt on our land (8800 acres). No one was allowed to hunt for sport. It was for food or to eliminate a problem animal. 3 grizzlies were taken over that time & 12 or 15 black bears. We ate them too. I dislike bear meat, but if you stew it, it all tastes good!! 😂😂. We had naturalists come onto our land to study the wildlife. The land had a balance that left the predators fed, but not desperate to take livestock. Chickens were hard to protect mind you. Our biggest problem were weasels and not foxes or coyotes. About 2 hours from where we lived there’s an area where the locals shoot every d*mn coyote they see. It’s indiscriminate and done for fun. No rhyme or reason. At the same time they have a massive overpopulation of whitetail & mule deer! You can’t grow anything in town unless there’s at least a 6 ft high fence around it! The whitetails are small now as a result. The mule deer are still big, but they generally stay away from town as well. Fish & Wildlife would double up the doe tags so each hunter could take 4 does and 2 bucks. It took several years to get the numbers down, not in control, just down. The Fish & Wildlife officers know the reason and try to teach the locals, but they just keep on shooting the coyotes & foxes. I’m in Canada and these people have a lot of US family members. They would invite them up just for a shoot!! It got so bad the US residents were coming up every weekend. The predators that could be legally shot didn’t have a chance. We have bobcats as well but they can’t be shot here as they are protected. I heard all too often that they were shot & buried. That creates another problem with too many of the bobcats still, mind you. All voids in nature get filled somehow. It became such an issue that non-residents need a license now to shoot coyotes. If it’s not a sanctioned shoot the border refuses their rifles. No handguns allowed at all unless for competition. (Or in transit to AK or if spending time in remote wilderness that is NOT a federal or provincial park) Especially the federal parks. If a non-resident get caught with an undeclared firearm in those parks, the firearm/s are confiscated and the owner is arrested & charged with at least one weapons offence. This will likely be their last trip to Canada at this point except if the border grants them an exception for their court appearance. 😂😂. In fact it’s likely their last vacation outside of the USA because many countries will not let you in if you are not a citizen & have a criminal conviction involving firearms!! Anyways. The licensing has slowed the shooting down some, but some enterprising individuals now arrange for guided varmint hunts,,,, 😂. Those same people b*tch about how many d*mn deer they have!! 😂😂😂. We did shoot coyotes if the balance was messed with due to them moving in where they aren’t shot. There were two neighbours of mine with 12,000 and 18,000 acres each (roughly) that also practiced the natural selection process so it was a lot of land to manage. The indigenous family kept all 3 of us well informed of the balance. They would hunt only what they needed (subsistence) and loved practising their historical ways, until winter, then they visited the southern USA until it warms back up in Alberta!! 😂. They also only hunted what was plentiful, even if it wasn’t their favourite game, like Pronghorn antelope. I’m retired now and someone else has stewardship of the land, but they are of the same frame of mind. Fortunately. I support hunting, our area needs MORE hunters. I just don’t support killing simply for sport. I am also not saying these fellas were just hunting for sport. There’s not enough information to make that decision.
I had a doe run in to a coyote call. She was like what the hell?! It was funny as hell because all I could hear was her big ass galloping up through dense trees and all I could think it’s that’s no coyote.
About 10 miles north west of the Crow Creek reservation in South Dakota. Wife and I are doing that South Dakota thing, which is driving around, looking for something to shoot. Coyote takes off out of the ditch. I get out of the truck, grab the AK, but meant to grab the AR and opened up on him. I only hit him twice once in the head that’s all it took.
