Such a gorgeous bike. I can imagine how comfortable it is. I'm so sorry about the drone! But if there's anybody that can fix it up again, it's you man. Hang in there brother.
Thanks on the bike! I sent the drone back to the manufacture and I'm hoping they can cover the fact that it did NOT obstacle avoid. I could fix it, but I'm hoping they can cover some of the cost. I even sent them the video. I'll let everyone know what their response is.
Dude that SUCKS! Sorry to hear about your drone - just glad it wasn't your BIKE! I thought the Air 2 has obstacle avoidance when tracking??? I have had my eye on a Spark, and thought it did the same thing?
Yeah thanks! It does have obstacle avoidance, and i’ve flown the same route many times with no problems! I’m bummed and i’m hoping Mavic can do something for me. it is $$$!
@@MCCJustMotos Yeah, no kiddin' - those things are EXPENSIVE!!! Let us know how it goes with DJI. I flew a drone once [it was a Spark] and the battery got low, it started beeping and hauling ass to its home point, and stopped short when it was about to hit a tree. I was impressed.
Way better ride than the Harley. I have both the Ace and the Sabre in 1100cc. My Sabre vt1100 has more power, the Ace sounds better due to its single pin crankshaft.
No way ANY Shadow 1100 is making 95-100 hp unless it's radically bored and stroked and has high compression pistons, bigger carbs and a great tune. A stock Shadow 1100 Sabre is the most powerful Shadow 1100 and will make 65 hp at most. 1100 ACE and 1100 AERO with high performance pipes will make about 60 hp max.
After letting my excitement of my test ride being better than expected settle down a bit...a reevaluation of this bikes feel makes me think you are way more correct then my optimistic butt dyno feelings. I think maybe 60-75 range is more realistic
@@MCCJustMotos That's plenty of power for one rider. Better acceleration than most cars on the road. I'm 300 lbs and my 1996 1100 ACE did 14.88 seconds @ 102 mph at the Westhampton race track. Top speed would be about 105-110 mph. Super reliable bike will last well over 100K miles with just basic maintenance.
@@bobdailey9735 That is pretty good! It also has been pretty easy in the maintainece dept. Honestly the biggest surprise me so far has been the very outstanding handling!
Well you're wrong! My 86 Shadow 1100 has more hp and higher compression than the newer bike of the same size 78hp stock compared to 62hp, and it looks better than the newer "retro" bikes
@@Big_John_C thats a complete different engine. The model from the video has 55-60 crank hp. Because single crankpin design, like Harley. Made for low end torque.
@@MCCJustMotos agree 100%. Mine sat for about 6 years before I got it. Pulled and cleaned the carbs, new battery and that's really all I've had to do to it besides fluid change.
Not sure why, but RU-vid seems to have censored the whole video. The screen is just solid green, but I can hear the audio fine. When I scroll through, it shows the actual video in a little preview, but regular playback is masked out. I don't have restricted mode on, but maybe it was flagged due to the title saying Warning Graphic Crash.
Yeah it's weird, I've never seen RU-vid do this before. I changed resolution settings and still all green. I'm on my mobile app. Will check on a computer later and see if maybe it's just on mobile.
It's working fine on my laptop so must be just a mobile app glitch. Glad to watch now! I've been following since I also own a 1996 Honda Shadow ACE with a bunch of mods like Vance & Hines straight pipes, custom seat, bars, and all sorts of fun stuff. It's been parked and not driven for years, and I discovered rust inside the tank. I need to figure out how to clean it up so it doesn't keep fouling up the fuel filter and get it running smooth again. Watching this video makes me want to ride!
So was the motorbike of the RAPTURE (28:08:2000 Mykonos Greece): a 1998 Honda Shadow VT 1100 C2 but reddish-white as John The Theologe predicted. He came holding the wings of two angels 🏍️. First angel blocked the steering wheel from turning left 🛑, to take the usual route, with less traffic more chilling and relaxing. Turning to the right ▶️ one mile ahead from the spot, the second angel took action while he crashed with a car and lifted him up (arpazω). On his right hand he was holding seven stars; his five fingers 💟 the throttle and the break arm (maskulinum). A screech 🎺 🎺 🎺 of brakes jarred the "silence" and than bang 💥. About 50 people followed that sound and came running 💨 to see what happened. The injuries he took were typical for wounds after a box fight, and less after an accident. A week later a Man who became witnesses of the second coming, recognized me again and told me, that a friend of his had a similar accident and missed three fingers🤞. I brought the Honda from Greece to Germany and gave it away for 6000 bucks.
I think your thoughts aren’t way off. Honda tried to address the sound with the single CrankPin ACE version. To be fair, it was better but still not as classic as the Harley!
