Historically she was always three skull. Sometime during AOS they changed her to a one skull. Thereby nerfing her HP. She still hit like a truck. I think they did that so newer players could actually face her and get an idea of what she was like. And not get too frustrated doing it.

The final boss of The Warmaker's Sanctuary/Klael's Stronghold is not the Warmaker - it's the Champion of the Warmaker. The Warmaker is Klael - the giant king you can talk to in the unnamed city, near the 3 skull snake.
I finally took her on last night with a level 20 Dalinsia and a level 20 beserker, both with about 4100 health, and she almost killed all three of us! She is a nasty one!
Don't need to know you can avoid her and all that stuff at the start, just say why we need to avoid her instead of pulling us around for 10 minutes. Afterwards you can give us that info.
If you have a thrall it’s best to take agro yourself and dodge her combo. Use a war hammer and combo her. She will be stun locked and knocked down, she has so little health that with good build and weapon she should be dead before she gets up. Do be cautious. Thrall or player can easily die to one combo from her.
She is very easy, just let her attack then counter attack while she is at the end of her animation. Just don't get hit and it's easy to do once you get the hang of it. Don't insist just hit her once or twice then back. The nice trick is to run towards her side when she attacks, she will miss you then turn and attack. I use the short sword and no armor at all to be a light as possible and to never be out of stamina. Of course if you go like a tank counting on your armor or shield you are done, she will kill you in one or two hits. Just be patient let her attack first when she is still too far to hit you, step to the side hit her and back out of reach.
just don't fight her i had a demon spider boss fight her it got K.Oed in under 2 min 5/7 times with little to no damage to her and the times the spider won was from her A.I bugging out any thrall i had would die in less than one combo even with best armor she can solo most world bosses now and sometimes she is invisible and all you see is the mace flying at you🤕😱
I've tested a lot on this area champion. Only thing I have yet to test is my shield guarding and two thralls. If this test goes well all you need is to guard and let your thralls open up on her. The only thing you do is block with the shield making her choose to at best kick to make you drop guard. Often what i do in a group of any kind is use my shield and let everyone damage deal. No point in not using good strategies. It will be tested.
@@benjamingalindo1034 I've done the poison gas thing but with the changes I doesn't trust it all to end fast enough. I like using one hammer and shield thrall and ine with daggers. Meanwhile I'm just guarding. If she kicks she is getting hit. If she attacks she gets blocked which is a stun lock. If it works it works. Not only is it stunning it's also stopping all damage. Thus saving thralls from being hit as well. It insures survival and becomes farming and extra armor scraps.
When you enter into Arena champion area, give the STOP command to your thrall. Fight her 1v1, use poison arrows and keep distance or just get gud and learn to dodge her attacks and counter attack. She can drop a good amount of scraps, last time I did her she dropped 24. Trying to earn the scraps by just killing the Warmaker is a horrible grind. All you need is good gear, good build and practice and you'll be able to handle her and farm scraps.
Thanks for showing what many veterans never show. The Arena Champion is not worth fighting, too much risk for almost no reward. That being said, is still safer to solo her. War axe full heavy combo will apply bleed and knock her down every time, giving you room to regain stamina and dodge her next combo.
don't bother with an axe, just use a Shortsword. it applies Bleed with every heavy attack, stamina usage is negligible, and it has far better AP. it can stun lock her without having to knock her down.
To be fair veterans don't show you this because we are too used to killing her we barely hustle anymore, I'm talking about veterans like me that only use one thrall or none at all. I'm so used to killing her that I didn't even notice any change with this update, my thrall was only lv 8 (Relic treasure hunter) and used daggers with poison and axe combo, she died too quick... I was only lv 45... Just avoid her first combo and then knock back lock her and she does easy... the undead dragon on this dungeon for me is harder than the Arena Champion, this is on the current Age of War built...

My lvl 20 relic hunter treasure seeker got obliterated the other day by this bish but I found out you can ride around on your horse in this dungeon so I used that a lot to my advantage.
@Game Labz Question, what was this armor on your thralls? It looks like light/heavy, though with the transmog - I'd prefer to ask before coming to any conclusions. 🙂
Me and a friend put our thrall in the courner and just take turns doing a combo each with a spear. By the time your mates combo is done your stamina is back just keep her pinned!
I used to stop my thralls and solo her with venom infused daggers. Once she was half health I then ordered them to come help lol otherwise she could just go full dps one of my thralls and there's no way to stop it, not even with healing arrows. Be careful and try to win an advantage first, once it's safe go full charge and try to use weapons that drops her defense. The sooner she dies the better.
I was curious about enemies that already hit hard before the update. Would they hit harder or just the same. Before the update my best way to beat her is have two thralls at level 20 both with epic maces. The maces stagger her sunders her armor.
Took on the Black Rhino for the first time today and side stepped his charge (so I thought) he still managed to knock me down, when I got back up 95% of my HP was gone and I bleed out and died. So he one shot me from 800 hp 1700 ac at 77% damage reduction. That's some pretty Bullshit right there, I went back right away and killed it any way. Yes, Age of War is no joke for thralls.
I'm going to guess they are skins. My main thralls are all in "dancer" skins but are full epic with 1,800+ armor lol. This Arena Champion hits much harder than she used to, almost killed my thralls twice and I've just avoided her since cuz that last time was way too close.
I too fund out the hard way how dangerous she is to thralls when she just killed them in a few hits. I was hoping the rest of the dungeon bosses was going to be a way to measure how hard the dungeon was going to be as a whole.
They nerfed her big time with Age of war, she goes down in seconds now. Reaper queen is even more of a joke now. Hopefully they do more rebalancing to put some challenge back in the game.
I agree 100%. Arena Champion is a joke now with the AOW update. 2 thralls with knock down weapons can annihilate her, giving her no opportunity to counter attack with the new AOW rules. My personal best is 49 seconds.
So... I'm not sure how to feel about this video. I am not a hater or anything so please don't think that but I have to say, the AC is easier than ever now. since the update to the New age of war. The legendries are so OP now that they melt most everything very quickly. As for your thralls they wouldn't have come near death if you led the charge in first. Get in there stun lock her the the thralls will put the boots to her.
Dint try yet on champion but ive try iron golems on the wine cave boss, lost one but was really easy to finish him,, crystal golems maybe combine with snakes arrows and of course followers attributs
I use 2 Lian thralls both in godbreaker- bulked plated, momentum with master fittings, corrupted to 19, pork and gullah and they melt her, she hardly has chance to do anything. I know Lian isn't the best so I will be changing soon. (Edit) And I'm also wearing skelos as my armor +50% follower damage.
Im pretty sure every time ive beat her shes dropped around 14 armour scraps, so still worth it to me since you just keep knocking her down with a shield bash and she cant do anything
Note that you will have to farm both her and the warmaker in order to get the armor scraps to make the champions armor or either version of the warmakers armor.
scraps are also found in the chests after the warmaker dungeon, so long as you grabbed the 4 keys. She is mostly optional as more scraps come from the boxes and the warmaster. SOMETIMES she drops 10 but usually like 4 or 3 lol. Not worth it depending on server settings, especially not worth if you're doing permadeath playthrough :P
You like to over exaggerate with everything? I can do the same look ... So you say you can find tones, that implies that with every run you will find more scraps from the chests then you will find on the bosses? Bosses drop between 5 to 15ish scraps each and in the chests you rarely find 5 (i am talking about normal rates) . I was only commenting what the "Tones" implies if one reads your comment. If you didn't put "tones" in there, the comment would have been perfect ...
Arena war champion is easy solo but def not worth it. And I always thought she was a 3-skull boss because of the champion status and the dungeon she is in. Apparently not :/
The best way to beat this boss is to actually fight her... in other words don't let your thrall do all the work. Grab some daggers or an axe and hatchet and you can stun lock her real easy. Also you can give your thralls some poison weapons and use a shield to interupt her attacks. She just isn't that difficult a boss. Go play dark souls and learn how to roll lol.
Cannibal brutes can obliterate her now since AoW. I used a cannibal brute lvl 20 against her with momentum and the brute obliterated her in 2 combos and survived with nearly 60% Hp from 2,8k. Second time my brute nearly died, so I wouldn't recommend letting them 1v1 her even if they can win. xD
@@Caldaran Brute now is top damager with 3.119 damage multiplyer.Much more then other thralls.If you use elixir to change perks you can get more then 3k hp in basic warparty with 2 thralls and even more on single thrall.With momentum mace,full strength bonus armor and boosts they are killing mashines
Just solo her, bro. She's just an NPC enemy with bloated stats, and the damage she does should only be a problem if you can't 1v1 an NPC without getting hit. A lot of the changes in this age were made to shift power away from followers and give it to the player. With the new stamina regen, its easier to solo bosses since you no longer need someone to distract them while you catch your breath. Theres also shields if youre afraid of getting one-hit-KO'd; still a lot less cowardly than skipping the fight altogether
I have solo killed her over 25 times now she is entirely worth fighting because u get armor scrap which u only get through certain fights and she's the easier of the 2 fights in said dungeon that give u that material just say ur not good at avoiding attacks it's better than wasting 8 minutes of everyone's time just for them to get false
No, Funcom nerfed your Thralls for the second time, making the Thralls weak, because apparently funcom has made the player alot stronger in Sorcery, but now they balanced the bosses to manageable HP. Think they said something like 💀=1 player , 💀💀=2 players and 💀💀💀= 3 players to beat them. Because the players are much stronger now. (Apparently)😊
So nothing new? If anything she's been nerfed... she should have killed all 4 them then tpked the rest of you while you were running around yelling "OMG HAXX!"
She's not really that hard. I beat her with 1 thrawl. I run full authority and expertise. Agility to level 3 and the rest of the attributes to vitality (level 1). Well trained is better to run than war party. The thrawl gets extra attribute boosts. Also helps to know what to run as far as armor, yours and theirs. Tbh, I think she was tougher during the AoS than now.
Do you play a lot of survival games? When the player gets hurt,cold,hot or anything the character starts to moan in most games. I would rather have a woman than male moaning sounds in my ears when I got headphones in
Yo its the age of war devs literally said players can solo bosses without having to rely on thralls. Change up tactics and fight bosses with your thralls its a must. And get it right she can drop up to 25 armor scraps 😅
she easy just get good good im fighting her alone naked with just star metal short sword with posion. i bring my thrall just hand over my gear and position her at the far back and unfollow so if die ill just w8 for my thrall to return to base. her armor my not be the best but has good stat and its a achivement that you fight/won and farm the hardest boss in the game. i think shes the hardest bose in the game.
I've beat her 100 times, and twice since the update. A thrall only has to die once to be perma dead though. She isn't worth the fight with thralls. Why bother? sometimes she only drops like 4 armor scraps lol.
