Remember when they made it to where batteries were no longer accessible bc they started using the new "lithium" batteries. Well I think part of the reason was what we're seeing now. If a mass of phones start exploding they will blame it on "terr ...ts" or that asteroid they are calling a second moon. False flag headed our way!

Shits getting crazy. I’m scared to let my kids use my phone. Don’t even like our phones in the room when we are sleeping. There is no telling when or where it will happen. Apparently you get no warning. I would lose my shit if something so dumb as a phone injuring or even killing anyone in my family. Shits to close to home now

This problem has potentially been made way worse since phone manufacturers insisted on making it impossible for your normal person to be able to either remove or change their own battery. Lithium batteries are not immortal and the option of changing them periodically is far better than a dangerous battery malfunction that could cause who knows what in its wake. Obviously though interchangeable batteries means extended device life and subsequently less profit for the bloody manufacturers...no surprise there then.

It can not be that rare because I owned a computer store for around 10 years and we get in a few laptops and phones a few times a month, where the battery exploded. Usually they are just dropped of to recycle. Most of the time the customer was not using it because it was charging. Some of the batteries have not exploded yet but are ballooned out and could explode anytime. I throw those in the dumpster and don't even recycle them. Most are newer items too. My store is in a very small town so I am very confident in saying it happens a lot.

All I know is lately when I go to open any app on my phone I have to wait for an ad to finish and my phone has been getting extremely hot!! This coming week I'm getting a new phone and will be learning more about cyber security.

As of this morning my android won't charge. It's now in a metal box with a lid sitting on my porch.

Minecraft is acting up for me, I'm being booted off my realms server and my friends server which shuts my App down. Also I'm suffering from lag before it happens and it's even effecting my regular worlds. This happened before after the mud update on my old tablet which was I think an and8. Now I have an and11 and it's starting again. When I got my old tablet working I couldn't download Minecraft again cause it didn't have the capability because they updated so much that my tablet couldn't handle it no more. I'm afraid that's what's happening again cause I don't want to update my tablet because I'll lose my world. If it does happen I'm quitting Minecraft for life or at least till they finish making the game.

All the software has to do is remove the charging protection and the battery will go thermal. All lithium batteries have to be charged with this protection. The protection is either in the charger or the device or both. Phones have the protection in the phone

My android phone got really hot yesterday when I was adding items to my Shopify store. I put it outside in the shade because it freaked me out.

Malware tries to get into all Google Play on all devices. I have an apple desktop and I have a program running that shows Google Play trying to hook on my computer nonstop. So many things can cause trouble on computers and devices. AI is running the show, especially in Google. Downloads have been without our consent for years now. Nothing is safe these days on computers, Facebook turns on your camera by itself as well.

For the past three days my phone has been rebooting own it's own. The first day was about 3 times in a row and only once or twice a day then today only once. It acts like almost when you update. This is the first thing I thought about when it started happening, the phone is cool to the touch and plenty of battery and less than a year old. If it's deep embedded into the system then a factory rest may not help. But it's just a coincidence 😉

Overcharging a lithium battery will ruin your day. The firmware in Phones typically don't allow you to do this. The question is whether hardware or software is in control of this process. Phones have been getting much smarter at when and how much they charge - learning from your usage patterns. If Phones have been designed to allow software to undercharge batteries but never over charge them, we should be ok. How many manufacturers might cut corners and allow everything to be controlled via software?! Time will tell.

Fear monger away! I think your always close to target if not spot on.

If you do try to open your phone don't go too deep with the guitar pick Or facsimile thereof because you'll rip the ribbon cables also once you get it to separate a little bit just go around and around and around till it pops open sometimes they glue the ends so you might have to be a little rough at the ends but it'll come apart and just be careful
