You can stitch it and use a big tube or Permatex and an index card to fill and smooth it over in two or three coats. Degrease with detergent and alcohol first. The pros airbrush over the Permatex. Or you can use the color match compound. You didn't understand the instructions otherwise the repair would have been decent.

Dude, you don't use a 20$ repair kit for damage that extensive. Those kits are for tears or burn holes no bigger than a half inch in diameter or length.

its so obvious, the prep wasnt done right, or wasnt done at all, you just slapped the product on. how can it adhere. learn how to use the products 1st,ive been using that kit for years, no one has ever come back.
