Great to see the RS collection in this video… Thanks to the generous owner for sharing his cars and passion for Porsches with the rest of us! Nice job on the video!
Two things you learn when you own a Porsche - 1. They love to be driven, love their engines rev’d and run better as a result, especially a classic Porsche 2. After you finish a drive you can’t wait for the next drive. This collector is a perfect example.
Hey PCA, another great vid. UK enthusiast here and a 3.2 air cooled owner. Yes the older 911’s aren’t as fast as their contemporaries, but they keep your wits alive! Great vid thanks
oh my that ctr is the dream. i didnt need to see those 964 3.8's the 505 964 or the gt3r. if a Ruf fanatic since 1984 when i saw Alois' car for sale. no company will ever come close nor will stars ever align again. Ruf is a once in a light year company. theyve done it before by 10 years for a crap prius. what Estonia(the business end) Alois(the car end) did will those silly video games was brilliant. im a literal fanatic for the company and that very humble family. Sir i must say this is a collection so far beyond extraordinary. what a tremedous gift youe given the world by sharing this. letting us share your passion is the true heart of being a porsche fanatic. mind melting!!! again truly thank you so very much!! what a class act of a gent you are. cheers
Watching this video provides me with an even deeper appreciation for Porsche and what they have accomplished. Truly a company focused on building the best race and road going cars for the public. What strikes me also is the consistency of design cues in the body, I recognize some poke at Porsche for this, but for me it retains a valuable connection to its history - and they look damn good.
I live in Florence Al and there is somehow this great Porxhe collection. The guy has priceless racecars. They hold a showing inthink every year. Its very awsome
Man,,so confusing but incredibly interesting. Even Mr Kelly got some of the details wrong! Can't blame him. So much details in each iteration of the car it's impossible to remember everything,,,
Are you sure? We recently inspected the GT2 that was at the Broad Arrow Auction in Monterey and the rivets were actually nuts and bolts. Need to check another example to be sure.
I'm a Porsche fan. But not any sort of expert or purist. Just a day dreamer. I'd love to walk this collection, choose my top 5, and see how others who are in the know reacted to my choices. I don't get the whole purist mentality. I would choose on pure emotion. Art. Porsche is art.
Can I just have one please lol. I wishhhhhh. Would absolutely LOVE to be apart of the community. I will one day I hope. Hopefully not too far from now. Saving.
Can someone tell this guy's there is no Lightweight edition , there was only Touring and Sport , lightweight is related to cars which received thinner quarter panels and some other body panels.
An American trying to correctly pronounce the German name. The 'th' (in German vocabulary) makes a 't' sound (in English), followed by the 'ey' making an 'ay' sound.
