I know this is way after the beta, but for the next one: the reason your HE grad had such high penetration is because all indirect ordinance does, for lucky hits on vehicles top armor, or more likely, for laser guided munitions(You can actually snipe tanks very effectively this way, and even kill helicopters). It's the point of stuff like the F-35's stormbreaker missiles, or the paladin's excalibur rounds in the game.
can't wait until he finds out he can turn off the recons guns and sneak them around the back and use their laser designator for precision artillery trolling

Something I'd suggest for the next beta is using a single transport helicopter and ferrying troops like that for assets that don't really need to be mounted up by themselves. Depending on the vehicle you can also put more than one squad in it so the APCs and IFVs and such might be able to carry 1.5 squads or something so you can mount them up like that and it helped me to spread my resources further and the transport helps can be flown quite safely if you give them a tiny bit extra attention
Unity is a good engine if you know what you are doing. Problem is that it has become like an industry standard and lots of small and inexperienced developers are using it. Its also a cost factor to get really into it and optimize the game you are developing.
i think what happens is it was firing at the ka-52 but because the helicopter was low to the ground and it flew directly over the T-90 it exploded due to proximity and damaged it. a lot of the AA missiles in the game, when they hit ground (i.e they miss and hit the ground or in cases like this) do a LOT of dmg because they tend to be huge missiles IRL.
@@12togo34 now that i watch it again i think youre right. never seen them proxy off a ground unit lol, i have a clip somewhere of my own patriot cross map nailing a smaw team of mine
Now that the #UKsuffers campaign is over i will now begin the #7thDDRsuffers campaign (I will forge East German documents about the T-72 to get it buffed)
Broken Arrow is worse cause it's very buggy and doesn't run properly. Hopefully they fix that. It's definitely got the "cool factor" with all the wacky things you can do
