the way you showed how to mix sounds in key, by far the best information ive ever gotten. that actually showed how to make things in key with eachother which was my toughest thing to understand, thank you for making it so simple! this was great!
The Tap tempo button is also a quick way to get the BPM. All good stuff Will. I really appreciate all of the work you put into your channel! Thank you!
Thanks for the video. I like that it's not too long to watch especially because I only needed to get a refresh on how to do it because I rarely use vocals.
Amazing! Really helped a lot. I always thought warping was a very difficult thing to do but now I'm very confident and can't wait to try playing around with it as soon as I get on Ableton! Thanks a lot 🙏🥰😃
u set that to work so easily. iv got a 4/4 break and been trying to get angie stone in all night. im on the point of giving up on this one. id love to see you do it so easily with this vocal. angie stone baby slow down.
you really are a maestro even if I understand 50% of what you are doing and less than half of it understanding in doing it myself... somehow watching your videos makes it easier. it looks so simple for you just tapping your mac whatever and do all this magic... IMHO never seen any videos close to yours in detail.. Now I wish I was a more smart person to really learn something too :)
You can try to harmonic mixing with diffrent keys, for example you can put this vocal in E minor one semitown down to D# Minor, A# and D# minor has only one note diffrent. It can give something diffrent and special
Great! Amazing tutorial again Will and this came in time as I was just wondering how to best warp vocals for a remix. Thank you for the content as always.
nicest tips ever question: what if we don't know the key of the vocal? topic suggestion: a bit out of Edm genre "afrobeats" On Ableton will be awesome (finger crossed)
Hey gr8 video!! Whats the best way to warp a full vocal file (like 4 minutes long) when Ableton shows different tempos in the different warp zones in the clip view screen??
Wow I’ve always been putting in the bpm of my track into will the warping section of the clip. Didn’t realise you were meant to put the original bpm of the vocal
Hey, this is such a great tutorial and you got a new subscriber! I have a question: does it go the same way if I want to warp drum samples or melody samples? Do I go on warp, enter the original tempo of the sample and select Complex Pro or do I use another Warp option? Thank you in advance! :)
Excellent video 😊👍 would u mind to make video about cristoph progressive techno please thanks mate . U did the most of producers . accept cristoph 😁 come on will. Thnx
@@EDMTips Sleepless Nights :) , i hope u will do video about this track thank you will and keep going mate we learned a lot of tips and tricks from u legend
Great vid man much appreciated and very helpful. The way you explain things makes it a lot easier to understand. I do have a quick question that I haven’t been able to find an answer for, hoping you can help explain it to me…I want to take an acapella of an original song and drop it on a sample loop from say LANDR or Loopcloud/Splice, to do a quick remix and explore the uses of samples for making remixes and not just your own song or beats…Is there an easy way, like LANDR, what I use, to just find some samples that sound like they’d work for that acapella , then put them into the key and bpm of your acapella and drop it into Live and see what fits by re-arranging things and chopping up the patterns to make the samples more unique? Since the samples will already have most if not all of the chords/drums/bass etc already synced to the project, and I just make whatever tweaks to make it work? Or is it rather difficult to use samples as loops for remixing a song by acapella? Would it require a ton of slicing and reworking the samples to match the rhythm of the acapella, thx for any input on this subject!!
Thanks for more great content! Why do you have automatically warp long samples? And I guess Splice is a big part of your music making. I have Komplete 13 and thought I was covered but I feel I'm missing out by not having Splice. Is it a no-brainer?
Thanks for your help, I'm wondering, I recorded a vocal track, 2 guitar tracks, and have a synth track in midi mode - if I want to speed everything up, can I just increase the metronome speed at the top left? or there a better way? thanks so much... or maybe Jared Schiltz's comment answers this for me.
I tried it but still doesn't work, the audio is out of time. The song is 90 bpm, I've set the project at 90 and the vocal, I did what you explain here but it doens't work, the vocal is still out of time and on internet every website says that this song is 90 bpm...
