So good to see the military being respected, in the one area. Strange practice to push stones over for "safety", instead of repairing. Interesting stones throughout.
Enjoyable video, the history of the people is interesting, do not like head stones pulled over. No respect for the peoples graves. Or families who paid for them.
Yes it's so upsetting for tombstones to be pushed over.. they could put metal railing around them.. I'm surprised the people of the area allow it...you are very interested maybe you could raise awareness and complaints...people all over England should attempt to protect cemeteries...some very large famous cemeteries in America have been neglected and some are being reclaimed from neglect.... you would like Friends of Mt Moriah channel....it is in Philadelphia and is an exquisite historical art museum of a cemetery...it is breathtaking...it was so horrible up to 5 yrs ago people couldn't clear it..goats were brought in and made huge progress
Very well done video. As a Canadian,I am always proud to see members of our military honoured, wherever they now rest. What they are doing to these monuments is legalized vandalism! Sad to see. Thank you.
People should write to their MP and demand an end to this vandalism also descendants of the dead should protest at this desecration of their descendents grave's.😠
Warrington cemetery is a total dump. Council is only interested in destroying historical buildings and replacing them with houses or flats no time whatsoever for the cemetery. The cemetery is soft because at the rear is what is known as “the twiggery”where willows grew and harvested to make baskets etc. by the way, the hospital is pronounced Win-nick, not Win-wick. Good vid though.
We have history in our cemeteries in North Somerset, I must say they do kept them up together by the council. I just think it’s not right to push the stones over, if they are unfit. they could cement them back up. It do not cost that much money to do so. But again it shows there is no respect for the dead. This is how our history gets lost.
