To both of you: Ayane is in because she was in Ninja Gaiden. They put Ninja Gaiden characters in this. Not DOA characters. Note that she's wearing her NG outfit.
Looking at her friendly and playful demeanor when she talks with Nene or Yoshitsune. A shame we don't see this side of her more often in the DOA games.
Warriors Orochi 3 is my favorite game back when I was still in Highschool but have no money to afford a PS3. But now after how many years I can now play Warriors Orochi 3 in my PS4. Good Old times where RU-vid is only way of knowing games 😂
Checked the size of Ayane's and Kasumi's Ayane is a bit larger than Kasumi. My opinion: Ayane with the harsh, but sweet-inside knowing and is responsible for her master (Ryu) Kasumi (dunno what to say about her but she's everything! Maybe that's why a lot of my friends like her.) I'm more Ayane than Kasumi but trying to keep it between.
@PressA2Die well the reason kasumi always beats ayane is because kasumi is the main character of the DoA series. but move set wise id say ayane is more unique and diverse which is why they put her in. (and each ninja had their own win on each the boss characters in each game-except hayate )
@CruiseCapt no clue if youre joking but this isnt ayane from tenchu, its ayane from dead or alive, and plus as much as i like to see a new tenchu game, the collab characters are only from tecmo-koei games. though it would be pretty awesome to see Rikimaru vs Ryu vs Hanzo

Momo M Actually, it's Hayate and Ayane that are half-siblings. Ayane is the daughter of Raidou (The brother of Shiden, Kasumi and Hayate's father). She was born after Raidou raped Ayame (The mother of Hayate and Kasumi who also happens to be the wife of Shiden) Despite that, I don't support Ayane and Ryu being a couple. I'm more for Mizuki McCloud from Ninja Gaiden 3 and Ryu being together. Personally, Mizuki reminds me more of Irene Lew from the NES Trilogy more than modern age Irene (Sonia) does and for that, I ship them.
I ship Ryu with no one. The relationship between Ryu and Irene just seems daft and Ayane and Kasumi are too important (friendship wise) for Ryu to think of them that way.
NEO Nate Ryu is more like an older brother/mentor/guardian to Ayane and Kasumi (as well as Momiji). Arguably speaking, he is less harsh to Kasumi than her own blood brother. As for Irene, I don't like modern age Irene. As I've said, Mizuki acts more like classic Irene.
Your both wrong actually, the reason she's in the game is because of her dual connection to Ninja Gaiden and DOA. Making her moveset was much easier, if they added Kasumi, they'd have to essentially make weapons and movesets from scratch. Both Ryu's and Ayane's movesets are copy pasted from Ninja Gaiden. The same goes for Achilles and Nemea as well. Joan is the only guest character with a completely original and unique moveset to this game.
"Sense of Mission" should have been used as her theme for this game. It has more of a heroic battle feel to it. They used Momiji"s and Rachel's Theme from NG 2 Sigma so why not? Made no sense.
Ah, I see...Well, the Basara anime had already been done, and I guess Capcom wanted to be the ones to re-create it into a video game(not that it hadn't already been done by Devil Kings). I agree though, the gameplay style was ripped off, but I still love the games.
Oh, I thought you meant the one from the game Sengoku Basara 3 the one that Capcom ripped off. But either way, Nezha is from Chinese mythology, not Japanese.
