What can you expect from a man whose father, had him watched a lynching as a young boy.

You know there was a quite fitting line in the movie Notting Hill referring to Actors it was said THERE ALL MAD AS SNAKES i THINK THIS STATEMENT IS CORRECT.and every time I watch these show biz shows itis true it's not just a few it's 100% of them no matter who is is there is a huge dark cloud hanging over them .

I believe he could be. I think he's partly responsible of the suicide of his wife and mother of his kids...he cheated on her, no love left for her. The woman was already fragile because of sexual abuse in her childhood. He lied to his children about the cause of death. They knew the truth only 20 years later... Henry had difficulty to express his emotions.

Hurt people hurt other people. It sounds like Henry Fonda was a Covert Narcissist who was emotionally & psychologically abused as a child himself by his caregivers. Henry's behavior towards his children is all too common in society & is normalized as "good parenting", is it any wonder why the world looks the way it does!?????? My 80 yr old neighbor believes Henry was a a model man, and said " Henry would be rolling in his grave if he saw what became of Jane". The lunacy of these types & the bold -willful ignorance.

One of my absolute favorite movies is "Once Upon a Time in the West" , where this dude plays the main villain. I watched other films and interviews with him after that and every time I couldn't help, but thought that there was something off about him. He just seemed fake and like he put an extreme amount of effort to hide his real personality. His whole presence was like a carefully built facade. Like Tom Cruise - kinda thing. In the interviews he sounded really full of himself. He might have thought that he was perfect, but if so, he was far from the truth. Just a classic narcissistic douche, who neglected his children, treated them like crap and made everyone who loved him miserable... But it's not only him. Many superstars and celebrities are actually horrible people, but they are widely appreciated, because of their talent and appearance. The fact that someone is good at his job , doesn't mean he's a good person. Many people tend to forget that.

No, he wasn't a cruel person. Modern narcissists and covetous consumers can think he was anything they want, it's their own problem. But to make videos like this about people who are not here to respond to is low. And making videos based on gossip, rumor and speculation is vile. Henry Fonda brought up more than one good man with his roles, and such "judges" did not bring up any. So envy silently his bright career and the fact that he has thousands, if not millions of fans even decades after his death. You'll never see anything of the kind. So long, good slanderers.
