False claim of rape should be equaly punished as rape, it's just too easy for women these day to claim rape whenever they slept with someone and they regret it the day after. And in many cases they can just get away with it and why not, there are almost no consequences for them. The worst part of this all is that there are actually real victims of rape who will sometimes gets disbelieve because of woman like this, people will often look at them like they are just blowing this up like this woman.

No it's not slander. Slander is an untrue statement made against someone's character. She did leave his bra at his house. Embarrassing, yes. Slander, no. The mother of his child would have to take him to court to get his overnights taken away. If this was explained away that wouldn't have been the result. He either didn't show up for the hearing or he did have her over when his daughter was there. Either way, that's on him.

Everytime women talk about women who make false accusations, all they talk about is how it hurts real victims. What about how it hurts a man's life?? It'd be nice if they stop deflecting to how it affects real victims and first acknowledge how it destroys men's lives.
Men can also be victims of sexual crimes. I would know, as my aunt did somethings I don't what to talk about to me and my siblings. Sadly, a good amount of people then specifically mention women only when talking about real victims. Which means, that, while it does hurt women, it's worse for men. I mean, think about it. While there is more reported cases with women being the targets, that's the ones reported. And with men being told to "man up" and ignore emotions, I'm pretty sure that men are abused just as much, they just don't report it. Same reason there are more reported cases of depression in women, despite men committing suicide way more often. Honestly, I think being a man is just as bad as being a woman, just in different ways.

This is false. I am a women and I knew someone who was falsely accused of rape and it destroyed his life. The first thing I think about is how it messes up people's lives. It's disgusting that people make false accusations just because they want to be with someone who doesn't want them or for any reason. It's just sick. It's just so wrong. False accusations should be prosecuted far more diligently than, they are at this point in history. It is very unlikely that that would be a main focus during this era though. Rape itself has yet to be taken as seriously as it is. People won't be able to sympathies with those who have been falsely accused if they do not under stand how horrid a crime rape is. Marital rape wasn't made illegal in the US till 1993. Our system has a long way to go. We need to focus on educating people on why making such horrid accusations is wrong.

This court was a civil case and therefore only things like monies and titles and deeds are considered. Personally, this is the best evidence for a criminal case. She should be lucky that he didn't pursue criminal charges after this civil case.

@@realafah JP is following the law though. The defendant didn't pay the cell phone bills that were in the plaintiff's name so it goes to the plaintiff. JP also can't punish the defendant for everything she did because the crux of the case was the money the defendant owed, which is why in certain cases where people alleged harassment but came to court for loan payments will end up needing to go to court again for that problem or be told to file a restraining order afterwards. All she can do is berate the plaintiff and tell her to GTFO

I think the “I said no” aspect is problematic, because women will come and visit for sex, initiate it and say no as part of foreplay and teasing. They’ll say “naughty boy! If she had gone to the police and filed a report, she could be in trouble for filing a false report - usually a misdemeanor - at worst, a slap on the wrist unless she is a repeat offender, then maybe a few months jail time.
lol reminds me of one of my exes. She was mad at me and severely drunk. I was sober. We were at her friends house and she has the courage to start hitting me. I tell her to stop hitting me on or i'll call the cops. During a heated convo she lunged at me and i stiff armed her to keep her away from me (obviously no ones just gonna let someone hit the fuck out of you). Sorry, but that's slander. And that is a criminal offense. It doesn't matter what the girl's intention is; if you make false claims that hurt someone's reputation, that's a textbook definition of slander, and that has severe consequences. I know this is just a civil judge, but she should call it what it is.
I don't exactly know how laws works in the US but here in India we'd call that Defamation "Whoever, by words either spoken or intended to be read, or by signs or by visible representations, makes or publishes any imputation concerning any person intending to harm, or knowing or having reason to believe that such imputation will harm, the reputation of such person, is said, except in the cases hereinafter expected, to defame that person". Its quite serious with extreme case that can land a person 2 years in jail.
