What I see is a lot of hate. I have an immediate family member who is currently a heroin addict, and the lack of compassion shown here is horrible. Addiction IS a disease, and many times people CAN'T help it. God to see my family member in such distress breaks my heart. Not a lot of people have the stamina or strength to stay away from drugs. And alcohol. So I could see the mom relapsing. I will state that she does seem a little mean.....kinda showed she was a pretty weird person anyway.

Beside 90% of case are done through plea bargain so they never went to trial and are convicted. 100% conviction is actually pretty common if you're a caution prosecutor.

Gubin Is not a 2v1. We have due process in our justice system to ensure a fair trial. We have appellate courts as well. Judge and prosecutor are two separate entities. They do not work together. Before a trial, you have other proceedings such as preliminary hearings to determine whether there were probable cause to arrest a person. In there were non, the arrestee is automatic free. In fact, the justice system may even be more in favor towards the offenders rather than the government. The reason I say this is because a jury trials and burden of truth. I'm not going to go in details but you can do your own research. The burden of truth for a criminal charge must be beyond reasonable doubt. Any and I mean any small circumstances that may prove your innocent, may get you acquitted of the charges. By that I mean if you're 90% sure that he murder this person, that's not good enough. You must be 99% sure. You can't assume that because the prosecutor and judge are working for the same cause, means they are bias towards the accused. There are situations where judges may be bias but even after conviction, you can still appeal. Nothing is always perfect. This system actually let more offenders roam free than innocents being convicted. Don't make assumptions unless you understand how the justice system works.

People like to be blindly hateful - but you probably don't hate obese people even though they are endangering their own lives and putting pressure on the healthcare system.
