I reckon he loves Public Enemy, and sings Cold Lampin' in the shower, and recites Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos word for word while the other Chuck D blasts out of his car stereo... I also have a hunch he says 'Yeeeah Boyeeee' after the director shouts cut after a scene he's just nailed. Perhaps also if he's recognised in the street and someone asks "Are you Charles Dance?", he replies "Don't Believe The Hype"

I've had a crush on him since Last Action Hero. He's... not as prominent as McKellan or Stewart but he is so damn cool. In another time line he's the best James Bond I'm sure.

I love Miles, he is not only funny in his own right, but also has no qualms about laughing at the other comedians jokes and really is an intelligent person. Seems he doesn’t get the credit he deserves.

To be fair they needed to keep the budget for the utter gem that's announced immediately after (during the credits) and have it going for eleventy billion series and is in no way the ultimate example of the most inane, cheap, IQ dropping drivel, ladled onto the slack jawed masses so that imbeciles have an opinion to compare to about the other toss they watch.

I've never seen a panel show get so many perfect contestants in a row. There hasn't been a single person on this show who hasn't made me laugh my arse off, yet.

I never thought a show about some boring quotes will be THIS good and entertaining! Keep re-watching and re-watching it and after 2-3 years it’s still one of the most solid brit-panel-shows ever.
because literally no one watched it. i'm a huge fan of comedy panel shows, and of david mitchell and david ayoade in particular... and even i found it hugely disappointing
As usual I really enjoyed the show, but I can't believe after my typical eye-watering laughter how deep that quote at the end hit me. "What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning."
Am I the only one who noticed Robert Webb started getting visibly upset after that quote about his first kiss came up and looked as if he was crying by the end there?

Idk why but I was laughing so hard at the "three-legged race" bit. Micky is so great and underrated. I had to wait to drink or else I would've spit all over my laptop. I feel so bad for not being able to hold my laughter at 29:18 and 29:29.

There’s me like, “oh look the villain from Last Action Hero and And Then There Were None” and everyone else is like, “oh look the villain from Game of Thrones”. What is it about this man that is so intriguing and appealing and awe inspiring?
I remember Charles Dance more, for being the strange interchangeable glass eye man from the last action hero. A 180 you stupid spaghetti slurping cretin... Good times.
My first jump is actually to the scary demon-disguised-as-man Sardo Numspa, in The Golden Child, but Last Action Hero is my second thought when I think of Charles. My favorite delivery in that movie though, is "Hannibal Lecter can do the catering." I love the way he keeps hard-rolling his Rs in that entire sequence - it's very sinister.
