My respect for David Mitchel went up a lot when he was called out for not liking Dragon's Den by the DD guy, but it went sky high when he instead admits to enjoying Inspector Morse instead!!
this is fukken weird.....I just watched the BFQ with Sarah and Kevin as team mates and by random selection came to this BFQ....I'm a huge fan of Sarah's and everybody else on the panel, Jimmy too. All good laughs!! Love these shows.
Hey, good job Rikki! Bet you get fed up with the cracks at times. I`m very impressed how you handle it all with such charm and kindness. Good for you! I`m gonna subscribe.
Fu#$%& freedom fries. I hate us. Can I be adopted by England please :'( I swear about 50% of us are worth adopting. And by 50% I mean 30% I wish y'all could have Noel, Richard, AND Russel on the same quiz, but it would probably open up a black hole. PS Noel's explanation for his answer at 45:37 is genius XD
Noel and Richard: "Don't be hostile. We're taking it serious this time." **50 minutes later** Also Noel and Richard: "...your mum... Was it your mum?.... No seriously, was it your mum?... I saw your mum in B&Q's."
jesterisawesome yes me too! Not that I've watched this yet .. I just noticed your comment before pressing play. I find Noel does that with all the shows like this where he partners up with someone .. always looking so supportive of their jokes & humor! I love that others have noticed that :)) He does it on Boosh too with Julien Barrat etc 👍👏
That's because he's really the Ricky Ricardo immortal: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6mG7j4t5O2U.htmlm31s Thought he could fool us with a different accent.
Don't get me wrong I love the goth detectives but I feel like there one downfall is that Russel always has a funny comment and only about half of them really work. the indoor kites just work
Oh, ADVERTS. First time through, I thought Richard said he edited all of the ADVERBS out of Friends. I'm actually kind of disappointed, I really enjoyed the idea of a younger Richard slaving over a hot VCR pausing for nanoseconds to edit adverbs out of a TV show for no discernible reason.
When they said James Blunt had the biggest selling album I just imagined Jack Whitehall buying all the albums and then giggling to himself while everyone else is confused about how so many were sold XD
An underappreciated part of the "Your Mum" sequence: all the others deliberately took a back seat and let it all play out. No one tried to jump in and score points for themselves. I think that's why they need to consistently have professionals on, who know when to join in and when to leave it.
The exchange with Duncan, Jimmy, and David had me rolling! "David doesn't like Dragon's Den" "He doesn't like Dragon's Den?" "No, he's said it before" "I have said it before, but I wasn't gonna bring it up here"
Jimmy Carr has a lovely rapport with kids and animals. His laugh is infectious and I think he's a genuinely good bloke. On Countdown, with the kittens...he's so delicate.
Sarah's thesaurus joke is brilliant and extremely witty! I love how just after she says it, David Mitchell thinks it's a genuine answer for a second and is trying to tell her to write it down so not everyone gets the answer.

Pretty ignorant out of the producers at 40:00 they didn't show a clip of the IT Crowd despite Richard and Noel both starring in it, yet they showed a clip from David Mitchells show.
While Jimmy was lipsyncing to "It Wasnt Me" at around 21:38, it dawned on me that if you put him in a chefs uniform with tall floppy hat and gave him a reddish mustache, he would be a dead ringer for the Swedish Chef.
Please note that MOST Americans thought the whole thing was completely stupid and pointless. I'm sure the media would have you think otherwise, but I honestly don't know a single person who ever referred to them as Freedom Fries OR thought that was a good idea.
Im american and I love these. Thanks for the stereotype, Also, Ive seen every episode of The IT Crowd, You are right, most of americans wouldn't get this
My elementary school lunch schedule literally printed "Freedom Fries" on the goddamn schedule. It may have been stupid to adults, but there were plenty of school inundating kids with nationalist propaganda.
@@gjh9299 How could you read this and not realize they were talking about the french fries being renamed to freedom fries. Also, you're not special, the comment section of these sorts of videos are always filled with Americans saying they're grateful because we can't see these shows otherwise.
@@gjh9299 Rikki isn't saying most Americans thought this show was stupid and pointless, she's saying most Americans thought calling French fries "freedom fries" was stupid and pointless. She's right. I only ever heard people refer to them as "freedom fries" in mockery.
6:40 "..legislatively speaking.." And David Mitchell begins his quiz reminding me why there is no one else like him on tv and why I like wilty so much.
Jamie Snow Trust me, I find more positivity for Richard and Neil and Alan in this video than is probably normal. (Even though I miss Jonathan, and Russel, and Sean, and Jack, and James). Just me disliking Sarah Millican doesn't make my life bad.
Richard and Noel are like you’re back in school and you’re watching the math nerd join forces with the furry to cause beautifully weird chaos that’ll confuse all of the “normal” people.
