Psalm 22, which gave so many prophetic indications of the Messiah’s experiences, begins: “My God, my God, why have you left me?” Hence, when Jesus cried out as he did, he was adding to the record of prophecies that he fulfilled.-Luke 24:44. The psalmist did not believe that his God had simply rejected or abandoned him, for David went on to say that he would ‘declare God’s name to his brothers,’ and he urged others to praise Jehovah. (Psalm 22:22, 23) Similarly, Jesus, who knew Psalm 22 well, also had reason for confidence that his Father still approved of him and loved him, despite what God allowed him to experience on the stake.
As John Piper notes, Psalm 22 has a number of connections with the circumstances surrounding Jesus' crucifixion. In fact, this might be the Psalm that does this more than any other. In any case, it makes sense that Jesus would want to quote this Psalm when he was on the cross. So because the Psalm itself has a question, 'My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?', if Jesus was going to quote this Psalm to express his sense of being abandoned, he really had no choice but to use a question. Otherwise it wouldn't be a proper quotation. And as Piper also notes, just because a question is being used, it doesn't have to mean that the question is genuinely seeking an answer. Even in our culture, we have what are known as rhetorical questions, which don't seek an answer.

Our son needed to be paid for. In the Old Testament, they used to offer sacrifices for atonements for sins. But they were only temporary. Christ died once, and for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring us to God. So Jesus is death paid for every sin of his people, every past sin, every current sin during the time Jesus was alive, and every future sin. So God chose that because it fits with his plan to deal with the payment of sins from the Old Testament in a perfect way that will last forever And fully satisfy his wrath in a just way
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us-for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”- Galatians 3:13
