Besides, Krsna already refuted this idea Himself 5000 years ago in BG 9.11: avajānanti māṁ mūḍhā mānuṣīṁ tanum āśritam “Fools deride Me when I descend in the human form.” If practicing Bhagavat-dharma would not give any effect or result, then why do it? But we see that Bhagavat-dharma is massively spread and practiced in India til today, and also throughout the world now in recent years. It must work, and give some results or else who would put up with the process? Also, Bhagavat-Purana canto 2 chapter 1-2 explains how to see Vishnu in the heart by meditation. In my opinion this Krishna legend came from the western kshatrap legends who were on their coins as vasudeva , months back I read a paper on this subject it was about Abhiras coins and indo Greek coins also western kshatrap coins . If there was really a king like Krishna then he would definitely have his own coins but didn't find any or mention of such a King by the contemporary rulers .
