So in the Brotherhood novel, it's clarified that the woman in question was killed during the villa attack, alongside all the other characters you assist in those three little memories, however, that does not mean she wasn't a spy. For all we know she could have expired her usefulness and been killed along with many others during the attack. At the same time, not every soldier would have known who she was and thus she would have been treated indiscriminately anyway. Just food for thought.
Fizhy Fizhy, can you make a video on how Ezio was a good protagonist for the triology. Also can you tell me if you’re perception of Ezio has changed in recent years?
@@swapnil3990 Hell yeah!!! I don't think Ubisoft will ever be able to recapture the quality of 2 and Brotherhood in another Assassin's Creed title... Origins and Odyssey have improved the series compared to Unity Blackflag and Syndicate but they still fall short when compared to 2 and Brotherhood...
FYI* The Complete timeline of Renaissance Saga is: 1. AC: lineage (Short Movie) = Father of Ezio's story 2. AC 2 3. AC: Rebellion (Mobile) = Ezio arrived in Spain, greeted by Aguilar & Maria. Maria escorted Ezio to his mission 4. AC 2: Discovery (NDS) = Ezio do his mission 5. AC the Movie 2016 (Box Office) = Aguilar & Maria fight for the apple againts Templars 6. AC: Identity (Mobile) = the story in Italy while Ezio not there (basically still in Italy). We play as random Assassin by the order of Machiavelli to spying Cesare's plan 7. AC 2 epilogue 8. AC: Brotherhood 9. AC: Revelation 10. AC: Reflection#1 (Comic) 11. AC: Embers (Short Movie)
That’s actually a really interesting theory. I always remembered not liking that character, thinking her slipping up and not realizing that she was walking/talking with Ezio was just odd. It’s definitely something to think about, such a seemingly small, even possibly pointless interaction really does have some intrigue surrounding it now that you’ve made me rethink it
Connor Kenway Odyssey’s story has nothing to do with assassin’s creed it’s pretty boring at least Brotherhood had ASSASSINS and the plot made sense. Odyssey pretty much fucked the lore
I wish Assassin's Creed would go back to its roots and get rid of the RPG Elements to take a more realistic route like Red Dead Redemption 2. If Resident Evil is able to go back to its roots and go from Action/Adventure to Horror Survival Assassin's Creed can also make the transition back to Action/Adventure. The Narrative needs to continue the way it had begun and story should be about a guy who goes into the Animus to relieve the lives of his Ancestors not because he wants to but because he has to in order to stop the Templars in the modern day. There are still so many unexplored stories for Assassin's Creed like World War 1 and World War 2 and follow the story with Lydia Frye. I wish Ubisoft would send out many surveys so they can understand what the majority of Gamers really want for the series.
Steven Miles HDGaming highly agree with you I didn't like this RPG type it should stay to it original genre. I guess the only reason ubisoft selling is because of assassin creed is big name. and this much grinding for everything and microtranscastions I hope ubisoft wake up and be true to its purpose.
Steven Miles HDGaming the location most people wanted and still want is japan. I think sengoku era or rise of Tokugawa era or meiji restoration any era would do good with original action adventure type assassins creed.
I think she was probably just there for foreshadowing, and the fishiness was unintentional, but this is a great theory anyway. It may not be what the creators intended, but just going off of in-text evidence, it makes sense.
Except for something I did not remember which was her death in the novel. Though spies have been killed by friendlies during attacks on cities in the past, it still holds.
Lol Dank well In one of the Templar bios in AC 2 (can’t remember which one) it’s mentioned that the person in question was an expert at torture and an image is shown of him stating menacingly at another person (offscreen) who’s arm has similar burns to Paola. It’s probably not related but it is possible there could be a connection
Some spies may be confused for the enemy, since spies are supposed to be a secret, other wise spies from the other side could know and it's a whole mess.
Bless your innocent mind wondering what she could give Ezio.😂 But in the Assassins Creed book by Oliver Bowden I beleive she is killed by Borgia soldiers during the attack. Also in those books Ezio spent alot of time, as she said in the game, away from Monterigioni hunting Templars and collecting codexes across Europe. He also lost the Apple for a period which we saw in AC:2 DLC. So understandably she might'nt know who he is. Personally I consider these books cannon because they have been featured on packaging for Assassins Creed so they are clearly promoted by Ubisoft.
Gotta debunk this one for you boss. Sorry lol As cool as a theory as this. It's a bit of a stretch to say the least. First off, the flower argument. You said it your self, she got the rest of the flowers to the villa just fine. So why would she need Ezios help? Well, that's kinda the point. She doesnt, and Ezio is very aware of that. He was simply being the typical womanizer that he is. Her asking him to help was simply to get his attention. As far as her not knowing what Ezio looks like. To me. She seems to be a servant to the Lady. Seeing as she knows how she feels about Ezio. A handmaiden most likely, so her not knowing who exactly Ezio is isnt out of the question. Lastly, your point about waiting till tomorrow was the biggest stretch. It's obvious she's offering him sex. Like common dude lol It would be different if she said it a way where you could interpret that. But she didnt. The whole reason he has to wait till the next day is probably because she's busy with the party.
While a good theory and it is possible in the Novel of Brotherhood during the Villa attack. Ezio saw her along with many others from the Villa having had their heads stuck on Pikes. The Weapons master in the book had been shot by Cesare as a means of sarcastically showing him the weapons capabilities when the Weapons Master asked for a display. As for the horse attendant he was crushed by rubble during the Villa Attack all three of these deaths were in the Novel. Just wanted to point this out from what happened in the Novel that wasnt clarified in the game.
@@Fizhy True, but you have to take in something very Important the Borgias influence. At the time during the closing act of of Ac2 and during Brotherhood the Borgias were very well known for what their actions could do and what those allied with them could both be killed and used. I will not deny that but if she was killed why wasn't the thief also murdered after having lived his usefulness.
@@ReapersChannel26 You could argue the one eyed thief hadn't quite expired his uses yet. It's also entirely possible that the soldiers did not recognise the woman and thus she was killed indiscriminately as a resident of Monteriggioni and the thief went to rendezvous with someone on the other side who knew of him.
@@Fizhy ok ill agree with the indiscriminate killing considering the Borgia guards in Brotherhood were even going to kill a thief even. Simply for delivering a letter, however the thief traitor couldn't have met up for the rendevous i mean you did say the guards could have killed indiscrimately by that the Borgia Army had literally infiltrated the Villa like cockroaches. Still there is a possibility of there being other traitors like possibly the renovator who Mario insisted that was focused on money although he needed it for Renovation, or i could have been the Priest who possibly was under disguise in Monterigionni.
There is also the fact the its possibly that all 3 if not 4 of the faction could havr been infiltrated by 1 traitor or numerous traitors in each group.
It's possible that she got killed on purpose to make sure no one knows that there's a spy. Or the guards didn't know that's she's a rat and kill her accidentally. Both possibilities seems plausible.
I think that those crates of flowers would be quite heavy, as there would be a lot of dirt below the flowers , which is quite heavy and dense , so the woman might've genuinely needed help
Never thought about that quest in that way but it does make sense; thought this vid was maybe going to be about the present day bit where there's red shit all over the ground at the villa
I think the devs explained that it was simply a guide to show the player where to go and Any sort of mystery it may have spawned was completely unintentional
I thought the same thing and during my first replay of it, it seemed like solid evidence to especially since I can believe that the Borgia would have used more than one spy
Good theory but one thing that makes me doubt it is that in the books, she is actually killed in the attack. Ezio sees her getting impaled by a spear, however I don't know how canon the books are. Since the games are the main narrative, I can buy it. I played this game so many times and never thought about it so thanks for that.
In the books she was killed but that still doesn't mean she wasn't a spy. During a siege she would have looked like everyone else and been treated indiscriminately.
The soundtracks and osts in this game. Man, It gives me that medieval eerie feeling. Especially in the underground platform segments . It's kinda creepy and memorable at the same time. Do anyone else feels the same way ?.
I agree. However it appears that you actually didn't get what she was implying, even if she didn't actually plan on doing anything of the sort. She was clearly flirting with Ezio. At least to Ezio, she was going "we can have sex but wait until tommorrow." But yeah, thanks to you i'm now certain that she was just being evil.
I really miss the Desmond Miles stories. It was more fun playing as both Desmond and his ancestors whether people like it or not, when he die the series die with him. I remember how Nolan North said about the original idea with the 6 games and Desmond time traveling without the Animus was pure genius it sucks that Ubisoft got ride of Patrice and change Assassin's Creed into a milking cow now.
No. Ubisoft’s writing teams don’t think this far ahead or do these kind of secret bad guys. You find someone who’s obviously the villain and boom, they turn out to be the villain
i mean its a pretty big thing so yeah you did miss a part of the story,Leonardo da vinci was forced to make weapons for the Borgia.there are even side quests where you destroy that equipment because leonardo asked you to.so Leonardo made it with force
I hope that after Valhalla the RPG stuff goes away. They tend to have similar styles in 3 games...AC1 and Unity being the exceptions. Syndicate was a mix between the Colonial games and the RPG's AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations AC3, 4, Rogue AC Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla I love all the games but the grindiness of the RPG's can get aggravating!
Assassins creed brotherhood 9 years later : discovering great secrets and fun . Assassins creed odyssey 9 years later : Shit , poop , crap , trash , fuck that game .
As much as I like your content, I cant agree on this theory. The three missions are in my opinion a little tutorial for players new to the franchise, getting to know the game mechanics. For the narrative, the creators wanted to paint a picture of Ezio as the popular guy, and similarly to AC 2 have 1-2 romantic, flirting scenes at the beginning of the game. I also cannot see a reason, why the narrative should need another spy. Yeah, and those flower pots that are already there yould have been from another florist
You're missing the most obvious one that happened during the attack. There is a thief that starts asking Ezio all these questions about the Sanctuary like where it leads before suddenly deciding that he needs to go out and help the others before the door is closed. That is the most suspicious person who is definitely a spy I would say.
Nice theory can't deny the possibility of having more than 1 spy. and in any era it can be normal to have more than 1 spy who doesn't know or aware of each other to keep mission more secret. given the roll of thief in ACB he must be very useful and probably had high level access in thief's guild so Borgia never or it never came to their mind as they were far from achieving their goal so they never betray him. on the other side that woman wasn't as useful as that thief so it's possible that Borgia killed her to silence her. I mean it's normal to kill low level spies and only keep most loyal. Another thing she might be just there for the sake of narrative for nothing serious but light moment before the night of Villa attack. I mean in games or movies or series it can be normal to show peace before storm. so she was just at wrong place at wrong time so couldn't flee and die. even as narrator she was a minor character along with other so ubisoft gave us proper closures as they couldn't show it in game.
Hey Fizhy---I can see where your going with that argument. Maybe the flower girl really was a Borgia spy. It's possible. And if so she got away with it. Lucky her. And whenever I'm playing AC: Brotherhood I do the flower girl mission last. The reason why is because you end up right in front of the villa which is where you must go anyway if you want to continue the story.
Your theory may be wrong as I think I heard that in the novelisation the woman is killed and her head is put on a stick Edit: assassinscreed.fandom.com/wiki/Angelina_Ceresa this is the source
Being killed during a siege is kind of what a spy in that position can expect. Not every soldier would know her face. Think Firouz, Siege of Antioch during the First Crusade, he was the Christians' inside man in the city, he helped them get in and they killed him alongside everyone else.
what no way?dafuq?!Really?Kassandra's grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand grand child?nope it can't be.if it was she would be more active not only in 1 cutscene.
About the guy who does not fix clocks, in the novel, it is revealed that Leonardo makes the gun Chesare has...(his friend fashioned for us...) and about the flower girl, the next day, Chesare's soldiers carry put her head on a pike. Ezio notices her and recognizes her in a sec :) read the novels dude, all is there :D
I've read the novel, years ago. I'm aware that Leonardo invented the gun, it was a light reference that just seemed too conveniently placed. As for the woman's death, being killed by Cesare's soldiers does not mean she WASN'T a spy, as during annexes like that, spies inside the city got killed quite often throughout history (For example Firouz - Siege of Antioch).
