the reason this movie has so many adult references is because it originally started out as an r-rated comedy for scooby doo but eventually got watered down and changed to be a family friendly movie

I loved this movie as well as the adult jokes when I got older. No one saw that ending coming though. Scrappy as the true villian. It was very well done. I can't wait to see your reaction to the second one--especally with your fasination with Velma. the second one was really good as well. If you are looking for older movies at one point in time I requested an old 90s movie called The Crow. It's truly underrated and no one else on youtube has done a reaction to it.

I think the theory is that Scooby is really a real dog, but only Shaggy can hear him talk but Everyone else can’t.

I believe this movie was Christian Slater's first movie roll. Anyway, I always hated Scappy Doo, even when I was a kid. Also, I'm with you with Velma. I've always liked the nerdy girls.

Actually the theory is that Scooby was a science experiment hence why he can talk. The original show took place during the Soviet Union. Shaggy is definitely a stoner though. Also if you notice, when people refer to Scooby as a dog, he says, " Dog? Where?" Insinuating his intelligence and not realizing he's a dog.
