I have been using the Curl maker Gel and the Moisture Milk for almost a year now. It's great for my fine natural hair. Pairing the 2 together I don't have the crunchiness from the gel and the curls are poppin, shiny and bouncy. Love these products. They are not that expensive here in Cali. I get it at Target
ive tried it and i immediatley fell inlove with it . the smell and the slip just go hand in hand. i did find when i break the cast off too soon my hair doesnt last more than 3 days so i opt for Camille when i know i dont want too many days with a wash and go. i pair my camille curl maker with the camille curl love milk exactly like you did !!
Imaine LaManser nice! I'm okay with a slight gel cast so I didn't really scrunch it out until the third day. I also worked out one day so that kind of softened the gel haha
Mine lasted a few days too & flaked. I did like it as far as how soft & defined it was but it didn’t last long. I paired it with the honey hydration leave in.
Thanks for the finger coiling and metal clips tip! My curls are also much looser on the left side front of my head so I usually scrunch that section so it looks more like a wave. I also have less volume on that side because of this so I have to pick it more on that side to give me more volume. I'm going to try finger coiling and add the metal clips at the front tonight when I cowash my hair. I love Camille Rose Curlmaker. It's the only gel that I use. Great video and tips!! Thanks for sharing!
Love your energy! Love that I found your channel. The Anthony Dickey method suggests you should work with soaking wet hair, too. He recommends doing everything in the shower.
New subscriber! 🙌🏽I was on the fence about trying Camille Rose Curl Maker, but your video convince me to give it a try. Your hair is gorgeous! Thanks for this video⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks for showing how to do a wash n go. I am 4 month big chopped. I will give another go around for the wash n go. When I do a wash n go, I damp my hair instead of having it soaking wet because of the shrinkage of my 4c/4b? hair.
These 2 products didn’t work for wash n gos for me. I think Photogenic is way better. I tried to use the Camille Rose products for a wash n go but I could immediately tell it wasn’t working & had to switch to a twist out.😩
So pretty. My hair is a lot like yours. How do you maintain your hair for a full week? What is your night time regiment. I just bought the curl maker yesterday. Thank you!
Hey! I have a video that shows my nighttime routine for my wash and gos. Curl Maker is great! I hope you like it. =) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wM8iwZFYA7s.html
Wow 24$ for curlmaker is a great deal. Here in Montreal is at least 30$. That's why I'm not buying it yet. You're right about applying products in the shower. I have been doing that lately
Annastasia Liu Hey! I tried it and it looks good while wet, but it got really frizzy when dry. I don’t think gels are for me right now. I’m going to try some hair milks and butters.
Great video Stasia! If you use a water bottle it would be a lot more sustainable I think. I didn't know that you could get away with using less product if you add more water, that's really good!😊👍
Your hair turned out beautiful! I love Camille Rose products and am committed to using products mainly from that line for a while. For the Winter, I have been using the Almond Jai Twisting Butter in very small quantities, along with the Curl Milk, which I love, and my plan was to use the Curl Maker, for which I have heard great reviews, for Summer Wash n Go. But I noticed that coconut oil is the second ingredient. I have tried, most recently two weeks ago, to use coconut oil containing products (Brigeo for one), and my hair became brittle and there was a lot of breakage! So, back to the drawing board for a Wash n Go styler. Can you recommend an alternative? Thanks much.
Rina Wallace thanks a lot! If you're looking for a gel styler with no coconut oil you could try Kinky Curly Curling Custard or Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic. The kinky curly is thicker but I've used both in the past with really good results!
Annastasia Liu, I should have mentioned that I used Kinky Curly Knot Today and the Custard, early in my Hair journey, with good results. But I felt I wanted to try something different for this coming Summer. I will check out Uncle Funky"s Daughter Curly Magic and its ingredients. Thanks much!
Looks great but CurlMaker isn’t necessarily cheaper than KCCC 😁 & I have tried CM & it gave me almost frizz free curls but my hair was so crunchy. I may revisit it but for now I’m loving my Curly Magic.
Annastasia Liu yeah, I caught u weren’t in the States. 8 oz here is $15.99. When I do buy KCCC I always get the 16 oz at $29.99 because it last longer.
Hi! My hooded dryer is from Gold N Hot. It's about 6 years old now and unfortunately the hood doesn't stay up anymore. I have to use my hand to hold it up haha.
I separate my hair into 4 sections and loosely band it with satin scrunchies and then sleep with a satin bonnet. In the morning, I remove the scrunchies, very lightly mist my hair and shake it back into shape. I'll also add a serum to the ends to keep them moisturized.
Hey! The back of my hair is type 4 - tight coils and a lot of shrinkage. The front areas are a bit looser so they're probably closer to 3c than a true type 4. Thanks for the comment. =)
