Thank you so much! My grandmother had this problem with her washer and we couldn’t figure out why when we would put it on cold wash that it would be hot water! Thank you so so much!❤😊
Just saved me 250$ I can’t believe it was that simple THANK YOU. Little tip: turn off the water flow in your house beforehand if you don’t want to get sprayed by a non stopping fountain of water for 10 minutes 😀
does it matter which ones you switch? Would it be fine to switch the tap hose ends instead of the washing machine hose ends? The tap hose ends are easier to access. I want to switch them without having to move my washing machine out
My Frigidaire stackable washer is about 15 years old , my dryer had a problem with some wires burned, after getting the dryer fixed, the washer now sounds like it has a bunch of rocks in it when it spins. We had just leveled it too.
Such a great video thank you!! You helped me tremendously! Only, you talk a little to fast on the instructions. My slow brain had to rewind quite abit. 😅 thanks!
Thank you for your amazing videos , always helpful. have a question regarding a whirlpool duet dryer , that when I push start it'll runs for few seconds and shut off, then after a min or so it starts over again by itself and same thing over and over never finished the cycle , please if you have any ideas 💡 ,than you
Motor might be over heating. There is a fuse that will trip when it over heats. When it cools again it will reset. I wouldn’t think it would start back up on its own though. That sounds odd to me. It should just shut off when it trips and stay off until you start it again. Maybe a shorted start switch plus a bad motor? Don’t quote me on this one. I would have to put my hands on it to know for sure. Good luck!
Hi sir - have you ever run into an issue with breaking free the bolt for the agitator on a whirlpool Cabrio platinum?? I’m going to try to replace the topside hub to solve Sd / F71 error code as washer won’t go into spin cycle anymore
Yes those can be tough. Will likely be tough getting the wash play off too. To get that bolt out I put my left leg in the basket to hold it and use both my arms to break it free. Little bit of a technique I ise
Thank you sir… I will give that a try later today.. Order the $14 version replacement part / kit from Amazon.. I even tried to break it free with a screw gun on impact setting but nothing.. will need maybe a longer extension with a breaker bar :/
The trick worked perfectly many thanks.. Will see if I plan to tackle the bearing, shaft & seal kit next… I found it online priced well.. But purchasing the specialized tool for the job looks costly..!!
What if i did that but, it doesn't throw hot water now, and it only makes noises when it wants to throw but the machine doesn't fill up with hot water.
Just moved into my condo that I just purchased. If you know anything about condos they usually are furnished with a stacked washer and dryer because the space is limited. After wrenching my back pulling the unit out of its little place meant to pinch all your fingers and clearing out all the lint in the dryer from years of neglect, I put the unit back in its place of purpose. Feeling satisfied I had virtually created a new dryer I decided to run a load of laundry. Being the environmentally conscious individual that I am, I ran the washer on cold settings. Sure enough the washer was washing close with hot water. So, out comes the unit again and with it another veribrea was sacrificed for the good of the environment. Apparently, those that previously moved the machine couldn't read and switched the hot and cold hoses. This reminds me of Ron White's lawsuit against Sears when the technician missed "lugnut day " ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-P-Hz6QIbCt0.htmlfeature=shared
