As a former trucker, I advise you don't perform a tug test in low gear. That's a good way to turn your transmission into a pretzel. I know it doesn't matter in ATS but if you want realism, try it in a higher gear 👍 love your vids Jeff

I live in Yakima and it's FREAKY how good they got the impression of Washington state down. Well done ATS team, you made WA look as beautiful as life! I just wish real life matched the smaller scale of the game since I drive to and from Yakima and Seattle every other weekend =P Great vid bud

As a Washington native, a couple things that may be worth checking out: Leavenworth - it's built in the style of a Bavarian village in the mountains. Palouse region - there are rolling hills there, green in the spring, gold in the summer. They film a lot of car commercials there, because it's so pretty. Plus there's a species of earthworm there that's six feet long and pale white.

The way you say Yakima is YAH kima.

I grew up and lived in the PNW for 45 years. Spokane is "Spo-Can", Yakima is "Ya-Kim-Ah" and Wenatchee is "Win-At-Chee". Lol. Otherwise ya did pretty good. There are a LOT of names of towns and rivers that people get wrong so no worries. We just feel better when we get to correct them for some stupid reason.

Just letting you know that Yakima is pronounced "yeah-ka-ma." Wenatchee is pronounced "when-at-chi." Don't ask me why, I'm just a Washingtonian.

It’s crazy how some things are so accurate! I live in Orondo, WA and some things are the same and other is very different but you can still see the correlation between the areas!

oregon and washington are my favorite states to visit. planing on moving next week to washington.

I lived in the city at 20:00. The gas station at 22:40 is almost identical to the one of the Ellensburg exit, surrounding buildings and everything. This is actually crazy....this video made me buy this DLC.

There are lots of channels that don't deserve their sub count or views. You are not one of them. 1 million+ is going to come and go quickly and I hope you get to ride the RU-vid algorithm to even more.

Wow, you got over Satin’s pass (Satus pass) in the blink of an eye, and there wasn’t even a mountain there. Usually takes me an hour in my truck to go from the Columbia River over Satin’s pass lol. Also, Toppenish is where you were before getting on I-82 in Union Gap just before Yakima. I did like how they modeled the Gear Jammer truck stop in Union Gap exactly how it is in real life. I’ve slept there many a night

I've been to Grand Coulee (cool-ee) before. They absolutely nailed the area to perfection. The drive up to the town along the lake, the little town before the dam, the drive along the hillside when going by the dam. It's like I was actually over there again!

Jeff, fully agree about the yellow light period - too short, giving option of a full - blown emergency stop or flooring it and risking a fine. Hope SCS do tweak this as I like to play ATS mod-free.

One time at FedEx we got new trucks and I went to hook up, heard the fifth wheel lock in, then did the double tug test. The first tug felt good but the second one came unlocked. So I backed it under again and it did the same thing. I took it to the shop and they had to give me my old truck back for the night. Come to find out that Volvo reversed the air lines on the fifth wheel, so it would hook up and lock, but would slowly unlock. It made the first tug good, but by the second tug it was unlocked. Hmm the Washington map where you are going down the 95 with the dirt road looks a lot like Kentucky.

Here in Massachusetts between the New York State line and Chicopee on I-90 it's not uncommon to see trucks pulling 2 full-sized trailers. After Chicopee it's not allowed. On 1-91 it's much more common.

Can't wait to see them add the american midwest on here someday and see Jeff haul grain trucks across the prairie. He will flip out at the wide open spaces! be cool to see his reaction at a grain elevator.

Now that the Washington dlc is out can we maybe expect to see some log transports happen? That'd be sweet! Loving the ATS content man keep it up!

When you almost miss that exit in Yakima that was great because I live two hours from yakima and that exit area is just a klustermess. I almost always miss the exit to go to Seattle.

I wish they came up with some more realistic delivery destinations. That dock is clearly designed for reefers or dry vans, anything with rear doors. You would never back a tanker into a spot like that to unload it. SCS need people who are actual truck drivers on thier team

12:12 Utah highway 14 sign instead of Washington Highway Sign. Washington's highway signs are shaped in the silhouette of President George Washington's Head. Utah state highway signs are shaped like a bee hive like that one was.
