Saw these Huskies in Atlanta...Peach Bowl...vs Alabama. 80% of the crowd was red. the Bama team looked like they were on steroids. I hope to see UW make the final four in the near future. With Coach DeBoer...might be a lot sooner!! go Huskies!!!
Probably watched this 10 times. So satisfying to put it to the hated ducks, and believe me, they come by the hatred honestly. Couldn't they have made it an even 100 points ? They'll never have a team like the '91 Dawgs. That was a once in a lifetime experience. Oregon was one of the tougher games that year. I think it was 25 to 9... but it was never that close. Good old days !
Somebody tell the play by play guy that Dotson just scored on a pass play before he got the last one on a run....lol..... that was NOT his first career score... PS thank you for the great video!!
This team was two injuries away from having a legitimate shot at a natty: 1. Mathis would be lost for the season against Utah. The pass rush, while still decent, would not be the same after. 2. Browning's shoulder would be hurt against USC. Neither his confidence nor arm strength would ever be the same again.
Washington seems to be the Auburn of the Pac 12 always underrated and always overlooked yet they are pretty good. Everyone sleeps on them and it’s a big mistake... War Eagle!
The talent on both sides of the ball for Washington is insane. It's a shame Petersen won't leave Washington (and I know all the reasons why). I had been trying to tell everybody about Washington and Louisville in the offseason. If I had the money to bet, I'd be a wealthy ass man right about now. Washington is going to be better than ever (and they did have a couple of really good successful runs in the past).
8MoneyIzmyMission8--Washington was a powerhouse for nearly a hundred years until the mid-90's when the NCAA tore the program to shreds with enormous sanctions. Since then, they've had a few runs, being #3 in the final polls one year. It was a matter of time until UW rose back to national prominence.
lol. What's their average recruiting ranking? I hear about Alabama, Ole Miss, Ohio State, Clemson, FSU. Never Washington. Their biggest distinction in recent memory was playing nobody in order to be a sacrificial lamb to Alabama.
I do miss the time when the huskies were good. I miss Peterson, I miss browning, I miss gaskin, Pettis and ross. I bet Oregon also wishes there was a mercy rule
As successful as we were in 2023-2024, our defense still could not compete with the defense from this year. I miss our smash-mouth, strip-happy, safety/corner lurk defense. Most of all, I miss our defense that could tackle. I hope that Steve Belichick can whip our defense back into shape.
Only time i've been there was 2010. Husky fan, getting our butts kicked and having drunk Yuck fans yelling "F%gg^t" at me and hit my brother in the head with a battery. Classy.
By November 12 when they play USC. We will be able to see how good this team really is. Alabama scored 52 points against USC. We will shall see how many points Huskies will score against USC.
Everyone has written off the Huskies for 2024 because of the departing players. They have Oregon finishing near the top but the Dawgs are pegged for mediocrity. But I'm holding out hope that once again we can prove EVERYONE wrong.
it happens man....you guys will be much better this year. Herbert is a STUD and the best QB in the league...im worried about my huskies only because jake browning has regressed SO much since this game. we have Jacob Eason waiting behind him because he transferred from Georgia. he is a projected top 5 pick in the 2020 NFL draft. if he was eligible this year he would be starting over browning.......Good luck to your Ducks this year man! go huskies!
If Washington scores 70 on Oregon just imagine if Alabama played Oregon 😮💨😂😂 I know Nick wouldn’t put up 70-80 but the score would be 66-0😂 Bama and Washington had too much offense and defense power that year.
