Groceryhauler07 This isn't live, regardless of the album title!! Don't be fooled by bands putting out "Live" albums, even one of the biggest selling "live" album from Peter Frampton wasn't "live". .
The fact that here we are over 20+ years later still commenting and appreciating this band is a testament to just how kick ass they are. Thank you bro for making this vid. WASP forever!
I saw them the first time on their "Last Command Tour", and Fuck what an awesome concert. Their giant severed heads were on stakes covered by towels and when they hit the stage they threw them off and started in with "The Flame" I'll never forget that night. I wasn't a huge fan at all up until that night, I became hooked big time.
I saw that tour in San Diego. They opened for Kiss. I ALMOST got a poster Blackie threw my way. I was CRUSHED by about twenty people trying for it and the guy RIGHT NEXT TO ME got it. APPARENTLY --- I was a "SHIELD" for him to get it. ALMOST MINE as I threw a FULL 16 ounce cup of Rum and Coke ALL OVER THE FRONT 3 ROWS ahead of me. OH WELL ....
W.A.S.P. is probably one of the top 10 best sounding live bands in the history of music. Even without their crazy visuals they are a great playing band.
That's something that I can TRULY relate too! If I could mod the soundtrack of my racing games like Gran Turismo, Need for Speed, and Forza Motorsport, THIS would be one of MANY songs I would add! I certainly would feel the adrenaline rush while doing 24MPH down Mulsanne Straight in many Le Mans victor classics, including the #6 Gulf GT40 (1968 and 1969 Le Mans victor), and even the #55 Mazda 787B Race Car (powered by a 700-HP Quad-rotor engine) that screamed down that long straightaway back in 1991!!
Yeah, I'm glad you got to hear it back then even if U were a little small LOL. Those years ROCKED and those bands will rock on FOREVER ! These are the bands that have placed the marker that no 'metal' band has surpased. Come back Blackie and the boys....we're all waiting for you man !!!!
"Live in the Raw" is till now my favourite livealbum ever. And certainly one of my favourite of W.A.S.P ! Had it in 1987 copied from LP on tape and bought the cd years later ! Glad to find it here and glad to find some fans, too :-)
I saw them in Cardiff last night.......they were late on, played for only 1 hour, and did 7 songs!!! For that one hour....it was pure quality W.A.S.P. though. I even got a Blackie Lawless guitar pic..... COOL.
one of my fav w.a.s.p. songs of all time!! i love every thing about it!!..the way it smells, the way it looks...so on and so on, an other classic for another vid?!?!?!?
Hey Tipper they are still here and we are still listening almost tewnty years later!Yeah the fourty year old teenager still crankin WASP.Long live Blackie and the fellas!!
it would be so cool if all the bands of the 80s that started metal like quiet riot motley crue wasp ozzy ratt etc itd be so cool if they got together and made a HEAVY METAL BIBLE that explains metal of the 80s
quand j,ecoute wasp tout s,arrange dans ma vie et ca fait juste 41 et ca va continuer , long à vie au gens du monde entier métal un jour métal toujour !
I can remember the very first time I ever heard these guys and it was this song they were playing. These guys were my first true intro into heavy metal and low and behold I still think they were one of the most underrated bands ever to be a part of the genre. Sure the look is now dated but that music still rocks the bejesus outta me!
