Lol even the pony wasteland is dangerous sometimes. I gotta say that while I'm a big fallout fan, I'm not a brony. However, I am not quick to judge and I heard the Fallout Equestria book series was very good, so I read a very large portion of it. ...it's one of the best pieces of writings I have ever read before
I'm kinda you but reverse, I've discovered Fallout trough the brony fandom and now I can't stop thinking about it, already bought Fallout 3 and NV with all the DLCs and I've also found the older games but point and click games aren't what I really like.
"Greetings Chiiiiiildren this is DJ-PON3 and you're listening to Galaxy News Radio! Bringing you the truth . . . no matter how bad it hurts. I've been gettin' reports that Mr. Topaz, the mysterious head hancho behind the Shattered Hoof Raiders is actually a dragon! Follow up reports have it that the Stable Dweller killed Mr. Topaz. I know fancy mathematics are something of a lost art in this day and age but let me give you a brief lesson. Mr. Topaz + is a dragon + killed by the Stable Dweller = The Stable Dweller killed a motherbuckin' dragon! Now if you're a raider or other unsavory type, I'd clean up my act fast, because a reckoning is coming in the form of a hero. Tune in next time chiiiiiiildren! And now . . . some music."
I keep forgetting that this game is actually happening, so every time there's an update I get giddy with excitement all over again. Fantastic song, I can't wait for more to come. Please tell me there's going to be a rendition of that "Whispers in the Darkness" song, you know, the one that plays at all the perfect moments, like when _(spoiler alert I guess in case anyone's weird and hasn't finished FoE yet still follows this project)_ they first met SteelHooves and the foreshadowing is real, when SteelHooves kills Zecora and then Applejack finds him there and everything that could possibly have gone wrong just went wrong, and then at SteelHooves' funeral which I think speaks for itself. Because those moments are incredible, and that song is incredible, and combined they increase the poignancy several hundred times at least.
mrmaggot6699 It's an actual song in the story itself. Never listened to the audiobook because I'm a weirdo and like my books in word format, so I don't know how he handles it. It's only a couple verses, and the second only pops up at SteelHooves' funeral, but it's such a brilliant piece of foreshadowing. Set up brilliantly, reoccurs the perfect number of times and always appears at the exact right moment to maximise the possible feels. Tactical copypasta seeing as I just looked it up then: _“I want to calm the storm, but the war is in your eyes. How can I shield you from the horror and the lies? When all that once held meaning is shattered, ruined, bleeding And the whispers in the darkness tell me we won’t survive?” “All things will end in time, this coming storm won’t linger Why should we live as if there’s nothing more? So hold me ‘neath the thunderclouds, my heart held in your hooves, Our love will keep the monsters from our door.” “For I know tomorrow will be a better day. Yes, I believe tomorrow can be a better day…”_ It's the only song in any written work that I could actually picture in my head. Funny thing is, I must have skipped over the bit saying that the singer is a deep-voiced black guy, because I always pictured someone like the lead female singer from Of Monsters and Men singing it. That was an awkward realisation on my second read through :P tl;dr kkat wrote the song, it's fucking incredible because literary nerd reasons and SteelHooves, yes you absolutely need to read it again and SteelHooves best pone.
Octavion Demi Nicolas Goddammit, I threw spoiler warnings in and I still feel bad for spoiling such a good story for you. Time to commit ritual sudoku to atone for this dishonor to my family.
It hurt me not seeing any of your songs in the Top 25 songs of 2014. (Seriously, I feel... sad) I just love all The songs you guys have, hear them everyday, Love you guys!
I wish I could Like this twice. I just keep coming back to listen to it again... This has always been one of my favorite styles of music, and everything about this song is just great.
No words could possibly do this justice. With every passing day i wait for more Fo:E content to come out & your on top of my list. Don't stop now 'cause i'm ready for more.
I appreciate this song so much, the amount of work that went into producing this amazing piece of music is astonishing and all the people that worked on it should know that they did an outstanding job.
Cool, thank you! Keep up the great work! I eagerly await news on all the adaptations, but right now it seems like Stable-Tec and the movie project are stalled, and you guys (and the Equestrian Broadcasting Company) are the only ones making real progress.
Год назад прочитал этот рассказ, песню нашёл примерно так даже. И вот я снова тут, вспоминаю эту вселенную. Удивительно, что даже через год тут появиться ещё один новый комментарий.
Holy smokes, that's a good song. Awesome work, to all of you! There's an insane amount of class and style you've got going on here, and it's brilliant. It certainly got me to subscribe.
Did anyone else just hear the sound of trillions of neurons snapping at the idea of doing a cover by the thousands who've watched this video and have any musical talent?
