Thanks for your comments. It's my mission to try and explain, and make people understand that this therapy is extremely gentle, yet profoundly effective in treating functional bowel disorders. Kind regards. Linda
Sometimes I can feel movement in my belly like a baby but I know I’m not pregnant does that mean I’m really stopped up ? I’m supposed to have this done tomorrow
If ever 😷 masks should be mandatory it will be right at that “”bloated-colon-insertion”” session 🤢🤢* The practitioner’s professionalism is incredible 👏🏽
Ok, this video was extremely informative. Her bed-side manner could relax a piece of Granite. And KUDOS to the client, for being such a good sport Thank you so much for sharing this, as it will help me in having a colonic procedure done.
I would so love to have this done. unfortunately we don't have talented medical staff like this wonderful doctor. I've never seen a doc with such comforting bed side manner. being 6foot 4 and 350lbs I feel like I end up bearing the brunt of people's bad day when I go for medical work. like it's cool to antagonize the big guy because he can take it... it gets old after a while. this Angel of a doctor could teach the American medical staff a thing or two. (applies only to those I've worked with, I do not mean to offend anyone who actually cares for their patients and their patients well being)
@@hooligan9118 REALLY, what right does that other dude have to say anything about anyone's weight...NONE. NOT one bit, so really I think the bad attitude is from Mr. LOSE WEIGHT...mind your business!
Very good video and very professional. My thanks go to Kate really for agreeing to appear as the patient in the video to illustrate the process. Most people would be too embarrassed but by Kate doing this I am convinced it is a low drama and comfortable process. Well done.
LindaBooth60 My mom diagnosed with colon cancer this year and it was stage 4.. the cancer has spread to her liver.. she got that bowel movement and I believed her liver need to get detox.. but we don't have colonic therapy in Malaysia. So we just do it at home without any professional guide.. In your opinion..Where would it be the best place to study about this colon therapy..? Please let me know.
@@fydaestrada8 I know you commented a long time ago, but colonics don’t actually work to cleanse your body, it’s more of a feel good thing. I think you mean an enema. An enema would help but I’m not sure how it may help with the liver
@@saq546 I'd never have one personally, but of the many I have watched, this seems the best by far. Sadly too many unqualified people jumped on the bandwagon, with risks of punctured bowel , infection &c. Humans weren't designed to need a washout , or litres of coffee poured into the lower bowel either..but there will always be those who seek alternative therapies..and they deserve to have it done safely. Four years ago I commented on this...never knowing we would be in the midst of a Pandemic.... Stay safe, everyone..
I've had about 7 colonics in the last 10 yrs, the last 2 in the last 2 wks and my last tonight in a series of 3 since it's been so long. Your first is the worst, the insertion, the heavy, HEAVY pressure of the water filling up your bowels. You question your sanity the first time and desperately want to call it off. But remember this, the process is made easier by your technologist. They should be kneading and massaging your belly to soften up your bowels and it feels SOOOO much better. Also, you're on your way to amazing health and weight loss. Every organ in your body is positively affected and after about 45 mins- to an hour, it's over! And guess what? You are so proud of yourself for living through it that when they recommend 2 more sessions to truly make a difference, you'll agree and you'll get them done 🙏🏽🧘🏽 You might even become addicted.
I would love to do it, but I have internal adhesion, as well as colitis in my bowel, which would likely bleed and have me screaming. It sucks because it's probably what I need!!
@@Amusegirl1980 try eating a raw diet. Anything that ends in itis means excess mucus! Eat unprocessed rainbow diet and cut out refined sugars and you will see a difference in a month!
Linda Booth I can't lie going in I was scared to death. As a straight male my biggest fear was the tube. My doctor explained its nothing like I thinking and was really informative and nice. I seen so much crap going out the tube that has probably been living in me for years. Overall I FEEL GREAT. Don't know if I'm tripping but I feel completely lighter. Definitely going back
+tragetica It's not a GP or 'Dr'! it's someone who has been trained to do colonics but the profession is relatively unregulated. I agree though she does seem to have a good bed-side manner.
At least now I know what to look out for when I go to other colonic clinics. If they're not like hers I'm out of there! She's a rarity I'm sure! The best!
This facilitator is just wonderful! Makes the whole process so relaxed and informative. I'm having my first session on Monday. Quite nervous. This made me feel better
so great of u Linda to make this video! You deserve a clinic with a LARGE waiting room full of patients! lol. honestly though your bedside manner is top notch! regards
wow I wish I could see her! She's perfect person! So professional she tells you every step of the way she's so nice! I just love it! She's just so far!! Darn!
Just your replies to comments has convinced me that I would benefit from having this done. Relief from constant belly pain, and gas pains that run from top to bottom, but never "leave"... this procedure sounds wonderful to me. 🌞
Hi Kelly. Have you had these symptoms checked by a doctor? Do you get these pains all the time, worse acter food, worse in the evenings? Do you get constipated? Are you taking any medications? What age are you? Linda
I need one of these. I had an X-ray done and I am, quite literally, full of shit. Chronic pain requiring the use of opioids has really messed me up. How do I find someone good?
You can buy a colonic board and try it yourself. That's what I did. Also I would do daily coffee enemas. This you can do at home easily . I bought the book Tox-Sick by Suzanne Sommers and it tells you how to do these. They have been around for years.
Please go to www.i-act.org/schoollist.html to find a certified hydrotherapist in your state. I would advise again doing coffee method because everyone reacts to it differently and sometimes negatively.
I totally agree! I don't think most understand the risk that can occur by seeing someone not certified. By the way, you are an amazing hydrotherapist, love the way you assist the client!
Kate took that speculum like a champ - not even a grimace. I would be clenched up tight enough to make a diamond...prob why I've never looked into this.
You know Sherman, I do think I remember hearing something on television about colon cleansing. They say everyone should have one, I’m thinking about getting me an appointment and get my colons cleansed thoroughly 😂
wow very informative and professionally presented. over here in my country which is in Africa we've been practicing this colon cleaning for centuries and up to now it has always received negative criticism from the hospital GPs saying it is a health hazard to insert water and run it against the design of flow of the colon. this demonstration is sure like for me. thanx lots Linda
Thanks for your comments forcommenting and you are absolutely right, the music is too loud. If ever I make another colonic treatment video, I will not have music.
If the camera would have pulled back further.......it would have revealed ME! standing in the corner, wearing a nineteenth century tuxedo and playing the Fiddle. Why yes, that is actually what I do all day.
Ronny, i have the same concern, And added probiotics are no´t the same as the self-made ones. Everyone has their own intestine flora. We probably lose many, but benefits weighs over..
This enema procedure is not new to me. Back in the late 50's as I recall, my grandfather would do us enema if we are sick of flu or just not feeling well. The good thing with this modern procedure is, it's convenient by not running to the bathroom when you feel your stomach is full of warm water. Though it's scary to go to this procedure, but I would like to do it if there's one clinic nearby my home. Thumbs up !
Or incorporate celery juice into your diet first thing in the mornings on an empty stomach and it’ll reverse digestion issues. Check out @medicalmedium on Instagram
Hello Jennifer. There's absolutely nothing to be scared of. It's a very gentle treatment. However, I'm fully booked up until mid-February. Kind regards. Linda
+Vette gaddia HOW? ......I had a routine bowel endoscope screening today, [not colonic irrigation, for sure, but they do give you a small self given ''washout' pouch to use at home beforehand'...but at all the 'risks' involved [literally 1:40,000 risk factors] MRSA wasn't mentioned?
Oakleaf700 The media is saying that as much as 10% of the people in the US are carriers of mrsa. And gyms, schools and public recreation areas(pools), and showers are places you can catch it. It's not just hospitals and convalescent homes anymore. And it is said it can be airborne. And you can catch it by touching someone. So the best thing to do is to bathe once a day and wash hands every time before and after you go to the bathroom or eat. It's quite scary. If someone is going to stick a tube in my areas down there, it has to be extremely, extremely clean, it must be sanitized.
I had a routine NHS endoscope yesterday, and all the parts that go inside the person are protected...with colonics, the bit that goes inside a person is disposed after every use, as it isn't a million pound endoscope!.. I volunteered at a hospice, and some patients are indeed MRSA carriers... it lives in the nose. All patients were tested, and any carrier was barrier nursed...I arrived once with a rose thorn scratch on my wrist, and the hospice made me cover it up with a plaster, as MRSA can get in through an open scratch. I agree though... I'd not particularly want a random colonic,.but tattoo parlours, and peircing places are also a risk [I don't use those, either]. It is weakened people who are most at risk from MRSA, but as you say, keeping the skin clean and washed with soap and water helps. Had a spine op, and they insist all patients have a shower before surgery- in the hospital ward. To wash off skin bacteria... Antibiotic resistance is a worry....
It would be great if my health insurance would cover this procedure. It pays for TONS AND TONS of expensive drugs (at least 10 VERY expensive) drugs that do not help my colon. Yes, I exercise and eat lots of fiber and I drink at least a gallon of water a day, seriously! However, I am on opiates daily and I am bound up chronically so, naturally, such a cleansing procedure as this colonic would be most helpful for my condition. It would also be less expensive then all the unnecessary and extremely expensive pharmaceutical drugs that I'm being prescribed. Well, what do you expect when I live in the United States!!
I absolutely agree with you Rose. It's just the same in the UK. Drugs, drugs and more drugs ..... As you know, the opiates just block up the bowel causing issues with chronic constipation. There are colon hydrotherapists in America, but you have to pay for the treatment. The same applies in the UK. Linda
Yes, I'm curious as well. How often should you do these? I eat a plant based diet and have regular bowel movements. I want to do this just for overall health benefits.
Do you have to be referred by your GP or can you walk in an book a colonic? Also how long do you have to not go to the toilet for before you can have this done?
@@matthewkent8796 I’ve had over 6 ( just to get everything out) in the last 2 months. Now I will do 2times a year. You just need to find a veneer that does colonics. No referral needed
Thank you so much for putting this together. This was very informative and brave of Kate to share this experience. You have really put my mind at ease about taking my daughter to get a colonic. I pray your business flourishes.
Yes that is one of the very small risks, but not an issue that I would discuss during the consultation or treatment. It's not necessary to alarm the client about such matters. Linda Tummy Team
This is so good thank you!I booked a session of three and during one treatment I had about 10-15 movements! I felt so tired after, then we did a coffee enema thing at the end which made me feel tingly! I cant wait for my next few sessions, I can't believe how much was inside of me!
Hi. So pleased you plucked up the courage to have colon hydrotherapy treatment. How are you feeling now - better, cleaner, emptier? Colon hydrotherapy is so effective for reducing symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome such as bloating, cramps, trapped painful gas and constipation. Linda
Thank you for uploading this video, I wanted to be able to see what to expect when going for a colonic. I feel more confident in making an appointment now :-)
I had 6 treatments of hydrotherapy and I do reccomend it, a healthy bowel is so important to overall health. drink distilled water only. the pure water will pull all the toxins out of your body, heavy metals etc etc etc
Good video! Our new Health Center in Ras El Matn, Lebanon will also have colon cleanse machine. Along with lots of other equipment and holistic treatments! Opening date: July 2024. Everyone from around the world is welcome. ❤
A somewhat famous flash cartoonist from the UK. Salad Fingerz? He does a bunch of really twisted stuff, often using medical terms or doctors as as characters. Hes great, but not everyones cup of tea.
The gas is released at the same time as the water is released and some colon hydrotherapists use herbs to help release uncomfortable trapped gases in the bowel, during the colonic treatment.
This is an awesome video! Wish you were here in Atlanta, Ga. The most common colonic here is the open system, which seems that one would be alone in the room and have to self-insert. This isn't a problem, but I really liked how to explained to your patient about the particles in the tube relating to her diet. And that's what I want - a learning experience - not just a colonic service. Hopefully I can find a Hydrotherapist like you...
Is this procedure beneficial for people diagnosed with Crohn's Disease? What happens if the individual you are examining has had abdominal surgery? If someone has internal and or external hemorrhoids are they no longer eligible to have this procedure done?
Hello Angelica. Apologies for not replying earlier. No colonic hydrotherapy is a contra-indication with crohn's disease. A colonic cannot be performed until at least three months after any kind of abdominal surgery. It is still possible to have a colonic even if the person has haemorrhoids. It depends on the severity of the haemorrhoids, but it is a relative contra-indication, not an absolute one. Please don't hesitate to email me if you have any further queries. I check my emails every day, unlike my youtube messages :) lindabooth@btinternet.com Kind regards. Linda
I had, a supposedly, three day split Colonics in Tampa, Fl., and the practitioner was nothing like the one on this video who seems to explain and show concern to her client. Instead, the woman was quite cold and detached, more like she was interested in the money she was receiving and getting you out of her facility as quick as possible. She had you go into an infrared "sauna" for a half hour, which was the best thing ever, and then onto the Colonics for another half hour. She never massaged the abdomen to help the system along. I felt as if she thought she had better things to do than to do what she was doing (nothing). The one good thing she did do, was to put me on a liquid diet the day before. She had a "don't waste my time" attitude. I will choose better next time.
Very sad... If you don't have it in you to do these type of jobs then why bother? I had a horrible experience with a delivery room nurse, she was so grossed out to check if my water broke she did such a poor job, send me home, a week later when my OB GYN appoinyment came I told my doc, she checked me out and sure enough my water had broken, luckily it was dripping and it didn't cause any infection to me or my baby. These jobs are for truly caring humans.❤
Excellent video👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍Excellent demonstration, excellent professional and client👏👏well done as it gave me the exact idea on what to expect as I am considering doing this treatment 👍👍thank you👏👏😍😍
Molly A. Block Hello Molly. It is not always possible to palpate the abdominal organs when there is belly fat in the way. However, we can still carry out the colonic treatment, providing there are no contra-indications.
@@JustForTummies Hi LInda, thanks for the reply. My mom really needs to have a colonic done, and while she's lost a lot of weight, her belly fat remains. Not a lot. In fact, I have a lot more than she does, but my "pipes" work just fine. We are looking into have a colonic done soon. She has opiate induced constipation, and really needs some help. Thank you!

Had GI imaging test done I b 2016, real good dr, had apple juice after, drank that down in under 20 mins. The prep wasn't so bad, I was so full of energy I wanted 2 do 6 laps around the unit aftwrwards. NEXT 1 when I'm 36. Then 41
Can you have this done with hemorrhoids, sliding hiatal hernia, and fatty liver (non alcoholic). I'm very thin, with many food intolerances. I'm 37. Never feel good. I think this could help.
Stephenie Noel Hi Stephanie. It depends how severe the haemmorhoids/hiatus hernia/NAFLD are. The colon hydrotherapist would assess your suitability prior to treatment. Linda
Hi Ann Marie. Many people who have IBS find relief from colon hydrotherapy treatment. Try and find a colon hydrotherapist who is very familiar with helping people who have IBS and one who is registered and regulated. You can download our IBS Guide here for more advice on how to reduce IBS symptoms: justfortummies.co.uk/irritable-bowel-syndrome-guide-download/ Linda
When she called her at the begining she had that o shit look on her face lol. On a serious note i have been thinking about this for a long time think its time to bite the bullet and rid myself off IBS.
Hi Robert. Colon hydrotherapy can’t lay claim to ridding you of your IBS, but I will almost guarantee that you will feel less bloated and more comfortable in the gut region. Linda
