Can you recomend foundation with SPF 50 or tinted SPF and tips how to re-apply sunscreen with make up?

Usually, I remove a little oil with a beauty tissue and touch up with a cushion foundation. Or when I don't like my makeup getting thicker, I wear a hat to physically cover it up. I'm planning to cover the cushion foundation with a video, so I'll add this information then! : )

The part about physical and chemical sunscreen is not correct. In physical (mineral based) sunscreens, only about 5 % of uv rays are reflected away from the skin. The rest is absorbed and turned into (very small amounts) of heat, like "chemical" sunscreens. Also, mineral based sunscreens have a lot less uva protection. In USA, people only have access to older generation chemical sunscreens, and they are known to be more irritating than newer generation sunscreen filters like Tinosorb S. Since you are Korean, you should absolutely use chemical/organic sunscreens. You have access to the best ones in the world. If you want to educate yourself about sunscreens, you can watch the videos from cosmetic chemist Michelle from LabMuffin beauty science. Highly recommend.

Physical (mineral-based) sunscreens primarily function by reflecting and scattering UV radiation away from the skin. While there might be some minimal absorption, it's significantly less compared to chemical sunscreens, which absorb UV radiation and convert it into heat. The primary mechanism of action for physical sunscreens is indeed reflection. However, determining an exact percentage of UV rays reflected away from the skin is challenging due to various factors. Although physical sunscreens do absorb some UV radiation, their main mode of action remains reflection and scattering, as mentioned earlier. This absorption by the minerals in physical sunscreens is minimal when contrasted with chemical sunscreens, which primarily absorb UV radiation and convert it into heat. I think the most important thing is to choose a sunscreen that suits your skin type.

@@LeeJoseph-be4vv They don't actually. It's a hard lived myth. Here's a scientific source to back it up: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26431814/ Even the name physical is very misleading. It's a lot better to use the terms inorganic (mineral based) and organic. Everything is a chemical anyways and people tend to think that chemicals are bad. Organic sunscreens are completely fine, especially if you look at the second generation of filters.

Oh Thank you so much for correcting! did researched Korean dermatologists channels, but didn't know about physical sunscreen reflects away uv rays and has a less protection. Here in Korea, physical sunscreen is getting more bigger since it's used more to baby sunscreen and for sensitive skin. I'll definitely check the channel you mentioned and thanks again for watching and commenting! I will research more before making the video.
