For Watch Dogs 2, I'd still say it's parkour because purely Free-Running is the full focus of flipping/tricking and there's only like 3 moves that have a tricking part to it, side flip, front flip, cartwheel and that's kind of it, so I'd say it's more of a mix of parkour and free-running
Aiden’s parkour feels very practical. WD2 is more stylish but that’s part of the tone difference between the games. With WD1’s dark tone, unnecessary flips would feel pretty silly.
@@JackSpackProductions yea i mean true. WD2's got that action/comedy story and gameplay that we all love. And dont even get me started on the open world too. 🔥 WD1 in other hand is as you described it, depressing and serious. With an legendary and emotional story and a more deadly and badass main protagonist that we can understand, just like Arthur Morgan from rdr2. I come to think why a shitload of ppl hated this game back in 2014. I guess they were just delusional. 🤷♂️
the physics in the game on watch dogs legion seems more legic, if you observe the player runs with the whole map at the same time, so maybe its unrealistic the fact that he grabe the fence, but at least he move with the whole scene.
your characters can survive being shot in the skull with a shotgun and an explosive grenade launcher so i think they can survive a not sharp spike on their hands
@@barcelleiu9194 I just don't understand that with characters with Aiden knowing parkour since WD1, that making him having 21+ years on parkour, same for wrench that they have the same exact animations
@@de4d_x_v2 Aiden himself is very practical, so he wouldn't be learning new tricks, since he just has to get from point A to B, and be able to clear obstacles quickly. Watch Dogs Legion's parkour is basically Watch Dogs 1's parkour with a few moves from Watch Dogs 2 sprinkled in + the mechanic to jump from one obstacle to another. You could say that for Aiden, his parkour has improved compared to when he was 39. As for Wrench, you can say age did slow him down a little.
@@maxm.m.7219 yeah true, but at that point i think aiden should know more vaults than the speed, saftey and theif, he did get the kong but that’s only an animation everyone has, wrench I think should have things like the reverse and a bit more tricking, but not as much as marcus because of his age of course
I guess that most of the moves performed are actually pretty simple, and can be done by most everyone. + They do have a fighting gym. It's not crazy to think that some of them might have gone through training after joining, but for gameplay purposes, they won't show all that process. They did however show you training with your first operative, so that's something. Also, not everyone is perfect at parkour, and I'm not just talking about the 'slow mobility' perk. In the cutscene where your operative has to jump from a balcony to escape Hamish's exploding appartment, you can notice an interesting detail in the cutscene. Younger characters will be less affected by the fall, and get back up fairly quickly, whereas many characters above the age of 40-45 will remain longer on the ground, and take a little longer to get back up. I thought this was a pretty cool detail.
I prefer WD1 Parkour because its more realistic, and that's because WD2 parkour is too fast and your character flickers to do another move after the current is done, in WD1 you have to wait till the animation is over. WDL is just the same as WD2.
You definitely have not played legion yet? The characters have bad traits and good traits. Not all have the same agility and speed.theres a trait that affects your mobility
I just hate that the guy in legion straight up vaults spiked fences, you dont have to be a detail-psycho like Rockstar but at least have a bit of care for them Ubisoft...
For those of you who played the first WatchDogs it will never be topped by any other watchdogs game. I do hope they will just continue the franchise with Jackson taking over the fox vigilante mantel, which will be a quiet interesting concept.
How did they manage to do the parkour so dirty in Legion. If anything parkour should be way more fleshed out with more freedom to scale things. But no. We get what we get ig lol
Ubi lost a lot of developers over the years.thats why their parkour is a little bit bad now. But don't judge it legion has good parkour with the right agents, the parkour feels way more natural than 2 and 1. Wd1 just is smoother and faster
The parkour in wdl is alright. The only reason I'm saying this is because 1. It has a assassins creed reference/dlc. And 2. There are alot more spots to parkour around in wdl than the other games
All 3 of the games were on sale for me but I chose to pick up 2 instead of legion and 1. Gotta say, I don’t regret it, it is by far the best game of the 3. Just wish it had more areas to parkour in…
WD1: more realistic approach, smooth WD2: More variety, cooler but noticeable clunkier a lot of times(but otherwise really smooth and good) WDL: Basically like WD1
I never played another watch dog game after the first one but that first one is so nostalgic , and the only reason I bought it was because I was too young for gta and watch dog was on sale
@@nakoochann I mean I was too young as I couldn’t ask for gta or $60 and watch dogs was on the online store for like $7 at the time all I had , I was young I’m still young but 19 now I got gta in like end of 5th grade, but played a lot of gta when I was younger
Wd 1: *has the smootest and the most make sense one* Wd 2: ohh that is high, let me just roll with my laptop in my back Wd legion:spike fence,no problem
I would like to say that in watch dog's 1 better parkour. But we're talking about video games here, and in video games, most of us love maturity. So the point goes to watch dog's 2
I stopped playing legion because my character was really good but he sounded like a demon every time he vaulted something in the most demonic voice he would groin 👺RAHH👹uhhhHhh👹
Watch dogs 2 added some pretty sick moves but my god are they so clunky. Just for that reason I give the W to watch dogs 1. Don't even get me started on the shitty London simulator
Well you see for many thousand human years nobody has that kind of stamina to parkour for such a long time so in order to maintain your stamina you need to prioritise speed
